This is one of the best bike shops with the friendliest staff I have been to. They are incredibly helpful, also happy to give advice and have lots of small parts in stock. Very fairly priced.

Great service from Adam, Jordan and everyone at Perlie Rides. Very professional and friendly. They really know their stuff and care about what they do. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. They gave my bike a full service and worked hard to repair rather than simply replace as first option. Good price too. Bike feels new.

I went to get my rusty chain repleced, the mechanic saved me lots of time and money by letting me know the chain itself was fine, and oiling it up for me at no charge! Very quick, professional, friendly service, and I really appreciate that they didn't try to gouge a cyclist noob like me by charging for unnecessary services. Will definitely be back!

Friendly, skilled bike shop. I've had several bikes repaired here, including fixing a vintage bike which had a lot of components that needed to be replaced. They are good craftsmen and the prices are always very reasonable. I also bought a new bike there which they built and is great value. These guys are great! I bought my bike a year ago. The let me test a large number of bikes before I made the decision. They're very knowledgeable and want you to enjoy riding your bike as much as they do. Whenever I'm here, they suggest cheaper alternatives with the same outcome! The shop is small, but there is a great atmosphere.

I think this would be the best experience I’ve had in a bike shop after 10 years of cycling in London - these guys were really helpful, took their time to look at what best options were for me when I wanted to change some tyres and then did them that same day. Very friendly guys. Took my bike to get the Head set replaced. They ordered a new one in, and replaced it the following week. The guy even let me watch him fit it and gave me some valuable advice on bike issues going forward. Love having this shop at the end of my road! I needed to get my breaks fixed and upon arrival I decided that maybe I should have the bike checked tuned. Guys in the shop were super friendly and helpful. I expected the job to take at least a day considering that they would be busy with other bikes but the called me very same day that I can come to pick it up. I was very surprised by the price too. I visited 6 bikes shops in Hackney yesterday (Saturday 19th July 2014) and received nothing but grunts and huffs - no help at all really for a first time (aged 30!!) bike buyer. The guys at Perlie Rides were a delight and had the kind of deep knowledge and understanding about their craft that you want and expect from a specialist… I ended up buying a spanking brand new bike there and then - and they didn't try to flog me the most expensive flashy bike either. I got the best for my budget, and the bike was prepped and perfect for me to get on my way. I left with absolute piece of mind that should anything go wrong or should I need anything it wouldn't be a problem. Some of the best customer service I've come across. Buying a beautiful new bike should be enjoyable. This was. Thanks Guys.

Excellent shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have used them for everyday repairs for commuting, much cheaper than going to Evans or London fields, they always do their best to keep you on the road rather than try to sell you expensive replacements. They have also built me a mountain bike from the frame up including custom wheel construction. Everything spot on, could not be happier!

Had to stop in there a few weeks ago after a fall to get my brake lever realigned. It was approaching closing time and I was lucky to have the brake straightened, plus gave the bike a once over, gave me some advice and refused to take payment, not even the price for a pint. I wish I was local so I could use them more often.

Very lucky to live near this bike shop. I don't go anywhere else. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and if they can do the job while you wait, they will - unlike most other shops who ask you to come back the next day as a matter of course. It's a pearl.

Been to all the bike shops in Hackney - none of them were that helpful or friendly - patronising sometimes. When my chain broke and I needed to replace it and the cassette I called two other cycling shops who didn't have availability to make the repairs for a few days. I took it in to Perlie Rides at 10.30am and it was ready for collection an hour later. The price was similar to larger shops that I had initially tried so it shows that it pays to go local!

Amazing service. Brought my old steel frame in with a seat post that had basically fused to the frame, and they removed it and replaced it over my lunch break for way cheaper than I had anticipated. Happy customer!
