went to pick up my bike from the Tooley st branch yesterday, had David who welcomed me and served me as soon as i went in, he prepared my bike, help me adjust and cut my seat post to suit me, went through the details and operational use of my bike, he took his time with no rush to make sure i was happy before leaving with the bike. very happy with the service in store and the whole order on the phone before hand, very very happy :) thanks again David

What a fantastic experience coming to the Tooley Rd branch was (having dealt with other branches more local to my home.) I had visited on a recommendation that, since a change in management, the store had a more welcoming feel to it than previously. When asking to speak with the manager I wasn't fobbed off with "they are busy" and I wasn't kept waiting. It was definitely worth the extra distance and I will definitely be visiting again.

We visited here, having shopped around for a good scooter. They have excellent advice, and excellent service. It was the manager who served us and assembled the scooter. Top job. I think the best advice was that not all scooters are waterproofed, which is a problem for using them in England where the chance of rain is high.

What a difference a manager makes! I’ve had my issues with this store over the past year and returned this time essentially to get my scooter serviced before selling it on… I simply didn’t want to have to deal with the store again. However, Justin, the new manager, listened to all of my concerns, apologised for what had gone before, made sure that I got an amazing service from the workshop and I walked away with a really well serviced scooter. I was so pleased, I’m sticking with the scooter and bought extra kit to supplement my care of it. Many thanks.

I mainly dealt with Aga at the store and she has been extremely helpful. I bought a cargo bike from the store which had a few issues, but they were all promptly dealt with and it is now running fine. I also ordered a rain tent for the bike, but although initially quoted a long delivery date, Aga managed to pull some strings and supplied the tent a month earlier than quoted. Happy with the service and would recommend.

I visited the shop on two occasions, firstly to browse and took an electric bike (Orbea) out for a test ride, and secondly when I returned a few weeks later to buy it. Both times I had a great experience in the shop, the guy looking after me was very knowledgeable yet relaxed and not the least bit pushy about a sale. This is unusual and very welcome! I felt like I had all the information to go away and have a good think about it. When I returned, he recognised me and again took his time to go over everything with me and made sure the bike was in peak condition to leave the shop. There were a few other members of staff on both occasions and they are also interested and friendly, offering advice but all very conversational rather than salesy. A great outlet, and a very positive experience all round!

Absolutely amazing service at this branch. I called beforehand and spoke with a pleasant lady name Zhanae she told me to pop in and the workshop would have a look at my scooter. I’ve been getting quite a few punctures in the past and the staff here has always been so friendly and helpful with my queries. David the machanic has always been so attentive when fixing my scooter. Hands down the best branch in London. :)

I bought a Brompton bike from the store and ran into some issues with the bike itself but the staff were very friendly and professional through the whole process (this includes the store manager, sales team and workshop staff). I would say a very reliable source to purchase any of the electric bike/ scooter from. A good selection of bikes and scooters in store too with a relax feeling so great even if you are looking to browse without feeling pressure to buy. They also offered me to take my bike out for a ride before I made my purchase which I thought was a nice gesture. Trustworthy staff/ management and would recommend. Thanks for your help.

Received a poor customer experience at the Pure Electric Commercial Street store team London this week - far too much to mention. It resulted that I had to go to the Pure Electric Store London Bridge, Tooley Street who were fantastic. This store had restored my faith the team there was great. Allen, who worked there was great - fantastic interpersonal skills and more importantly he listened, I was very impressed with his extensive knowledge on bikes. I've been on several occasions with the same problem at the Pure Electric in Commercial Street which has never been resolved. Allen, resolved my problem in 15 minutes. Thank you Allen your a credit to Pure Electric please never leave.

And then I check on internet and I find this brand and I decide to go to the store in London Bridge, a lovely blond girl I forgot her name, she provided me all the information I need and witch one is the best option for me. I got my scooter with me . The quality is amazing how was made, I will write an other review after one month. I’m sure will be fine. You can tell when something is good.

This is the best place to buy an ebike/scooter! The staff are very knowledgeable and very patient when introducing different products to find the ones that suit you the most. Their workshop is fabulous, they fix my bikes in seconds without additional charges and never turn down any of my requests. if you are hesitant about buying an ebike or scooter, definitely try book an assisted test ride with them! They won’t disappoint you!

I was looking for a Brompton e-bike for commuting. I had never had a Brompton or an e-bike before so had some questions. I had tried a couple of shops closer to me and did not feel the love (or the interest), but that all changed when I called and spoke with Leo. He answered my questions and arranged to visit the following day for a test ride. A short 20min ride convinced me and I left with my new bike that day. Great experience from all the staff I met. Highly recommend this bike shop. I brought my electric Raleigh in here after it had been serviced elsewhere and they'd messed up my gears. Adam, the head mechanic, was 100% first-rate - helpful, knowledgeable, total can-do attitude. Adam carefully listened to what I needed, came up with an excellent solution, phoned to communicate at each step of the process and really went above and beyond - then charged me super reasonably despite all the hard work he'd put in. In the past, I've sometimes found that staff in other bike shops treat me like I know nothing because I'm a woman - so I was pleasantly surprised to encounter nothing of that sort here - Adam was happy to go into technicalities and always engaged with me on an equal footing. I'm absolutely delighted and will return. Thank you so much Adam.

I purchased my bike online and collected from the London Bridge store. The service I received from Leo was excellent. He spent ages showing me how to fold and unfold the bike and explained the gears whilst allowing me to ride around the block for a practice. Would I purchase anything from Pure Electric again - absolutely.

Really kind staff. I actually hesitated a lot and then ran into problem with Klarna while I was trying to pay for the scooter for the first time (I got the pure air water resistant one btw), and couldn’t make it, so I came again a few days later. The staff is still super patient and informative with me, helped me with the whole payment process and answered all my questions, very satisfied. The product itself, nice, runs quickly and smoothly, the fluid tires really absorbed a lot of jolt from the bumpy road, makes it very comfortable to ride. Only two things, battery drops quick, I ride only from train station to home (10mins on foot) in the normal speed mode, by the time I was home, the battery dropped one bar. Maybe it was just on the edge, I don’t know. (After a week of use I think it was just on the edge. The battery is actually quite powerful. I charged it once on the night I bought it, since then, I drove it to shops, stations etc, today it’s still full battery.) Secondly, it’s actually quite heavy for one hand carrying. I’m a 5’6 feet girl doing gym regularly before COVID, it’s heavy for me to walk if I hold it on one hand, hard to keep balance but still manageable, just a reference for girls who wants to try this. The endurance is still a question mark. I’ll update after a while of use.

Overall great service in store! Ordered online from Pure Electric... 3 scooters - 1 of the scooters broke on 2nd use & the 2nd was an unwanted gift. Returned to my local store (Tooley St) the return was inspected and refunded immediately - Gold star. The 2nd, to be repaired - I was told the mechanic isn’t in on weekends and I’d be called on Wednesday with an update. Long story short I waited 4 weeks to get a replacement scooter & I had to call, email and chase. There are no receipts for “Awaiting Repair” or email confirmation, just my name and number scrawled into a book - scooters are too expensive to have no proof I’ve left it with strangers! Star lost for lack of communication. But in store service was great - manager even carried my scooter to the cab & was very nice to my mum :-) Also... don’t forget to sign petitions to legalise e-scooters... key/NHS worker here, sick of getting the bus with unmasked, coughing strangers!
