J. D.Twice now I've need an emergency repair on my bike while I've been working as a courier. Firstly it was to replace a brake cable and just yesterday I had a puncture round the corner. Both times the guys in here have been amazing, sorted it out really quickly, and at a great price. I don't use an electric bike but they've had all the necessary parts and tubes.
Would really recommend the store, it's very reliable to and really friendly staff. Normally I have to call around 5 shops before someone seems to be open or available. Of all the places to get a puncture nearby, this is the best!
Edit: Had an issue yesterday where the rubber attachment for my front light had snapped, my handlebars are large and I'd not thought about that before buying from a different store. Happened to be nearby again and they attached a whole new bracket, took apart the light to fit it. Really appreciate that! Also note that they are one of the few shops in central open on a Sunday, great service!
D. O.Found this shop after much online research for my first electric bike. What a relief! ! I’d only managed to speak by phone to online retailers and hadn’t managed to secure a test ride on my bike of choice with any of the dealers they use. Gabby, at the Holborn branch, was just the kind of assistant I needed. A woman in a bike shop - excellent start! Gabby talked me through the range of motor/battery combos I’d come with in mind and made suggestions for ones I hadn’t listed. I thought I was in the market for a Bosch performance line Cube but it was way too heavy, however cool a ride. I’m probably going to get a Marin E2 Sausalito which is perfect for my needs, cheaper than the Cube and much lighter and stripped down. I left with a zippy sporty bike instead of a tank! Thanks Pure Holborn. And great to have local after sales service!

H.Twice in the past couple of weeks (after slipping off my bike on a dark icy morning) I took my Orbea e-bike to Pure Electric in Holborn with what turned out to be really minor issues -- too embarassing to mention. The first time I booked in advance, left the bike in the shop, and the problem was fixed the same day by Federico. There was no charge. The second time, today, I phoned before popping in with another small issue. Federico dealt with it in a few minutes. Again, I wasn't charged for the work..The Holborn shop has extremely friendly and, evidently, very helpful staff. Very old school for an e-scooter shop, which is nice! So I'll be taking my bike in for a service in the near future.

m. m.Fantastic service. Can't rate Leo highly enough. He helped me out of a serious jam when my chain broke on a Sunday afternoon while I was 20 miles away from home. Luckily I happened to be a few hundred metres from pure electric and popped in on the off chance. I thought it might be a posh place just selling ebikes but my hopes lifted as I saw a small workshop behind the counter. I explained my predicament and even though Leo was obviously busy he spent time to look at and fix my untrusty steed. To add to this he would not accept any money even though I was quite insistent as the job had required no parts and a relatively short time to fix. During my 1/2 hour in the shop I witnessed him dealing with 4 customers and each time he sorted their problems or answered their questions with apparent ease and with a nice manner to boot. The shop itself has some lovely ebikes and scooters and all the staff seemed very knowledgeable. I recommend this shop for both repairs and if your looking for a nice ebike/scooter. They had some surprisingly cheap nice looking bikes in there and some very expensive top of the range ones too. A good mixture. Big thank you to Leo. I hope this review is payment enough. The fire services loss is the bike world's gain.

I phoned them up to book it in, arrived about an hour later to be greeted by very friendly well informed staff, went for coffee, returned 20 mind later and rode away. A. D.Great shop experience. The team was very helpful with all the details about the bike I've purchased. Gabby and the other team member installed some accessories that I bought along side with the bike Pure Flux One Electric Hybrid. It took almost 1h to assemble everything but it was worth it for me. I chose Pure Electric for various reasons. At first glance was the bike price. 999 pounds for a bike like Pure Flux One Electric Hybrid it is not something that you see everyday. Another positive aspect that sealed the deal in my mind was the Pure Electric team had good reviews regarding customer service. I believe we live crazy times right now, in general, on this Planet. I am only 36 years old and I still caught the good times. Now, I see less people interested to offer more that receipts when you purchase something. I even told to one of the team members that you can tell this business was made not only to gain money but to offer something back to the customer, a positive experience. It is an amazing feeling to find yourself welcomed just for being there, for asking questions, for buying something. I found myself in many situations where I was buying expensive things, important things and staff members were just ignoring me, or looking at me like I was just another number, not a person. I really loved today. The funny thing was that when I've searched for YouTube videos I found one where a lady was talking about the Pure Flux One Electric Hybrid Bike. For my surprise she was the Store Manager of the Pure Electric Holborn, Gabby. While I was in the store I even googled to see who she was :D. I was impressed by her passion in customer service and mechanical skills. I also purchased the option for free puncture repairs (I hope I am not mistaken) for one year just because I felt good in the store and trust the brand.

J. S.Got a puncture on the back wheel of an e-bike in central London with no kit to fix it. Pure Electric in Holborn were a mechanic down that day and chockablock but still agreed to fit me in. All other bike shops I called either didn't answer or said they were full. I would have been completely stranded otherwise. Staff were friendly, puncture fixed quickly.

The staff in the shop are great, really friendly and helpful plus they follow social distancing rules so it's safe. I definitely will go back and would recommend.

Honestly when I picked up the scooter, I noticed they went the extra mile to adjust my breaks and steering as well as fix one of the bolts on the folding mechanism. S. K.My Xiaomi M365 was slightly damaged after a collision and the locking mechanism holding the central arm occasionally came loose while in use. Pure took the scooter in, found the damaged part and replaced it, so it was ready next day. Back in perfect working order. Great, quick and very cost effective service.
Would definitely use them again for servicing and to buy a new electric bike or scooter if upgrading.

L. M.I’ve been looking for an electric folding bike for a few months now and found that shops didn’t have stock or I’ve not been satisfied with the product. Therefore, today was a breath of fresh air at Holborn Pure Electric. With a selection of models on offer, the very knowledgable Gabby was able to clearly explain pros and cons of the brands and models, and what I’d get for my money, and also explained the new models about to be released. She also went with me on a bike ride on my favoured model so I could really get a feel for the bike. With no pressure to buy, and no judgement on my budget or reasons for wanting an electric bike, I was left feeling well informed and comfortable. Gabby even looked up the bike regulations on local trains for me.
In the end, I was able to confidently buy an Eovolt bike. Gabby also helped put on some accessories before sending me on my two-wheeled way to the train station. Thanks Gabby and Pure Electric! Great experience.
