I went to buy new bike and I was expected long, exhausting shopping. However, guys help me in no time, they sorted paper work and in less than a hour I walked out with new bicycle happy. Amazing attentive service at this shop today, prompts me to take valuable time out of my busy day to review them. I dropped by to enquire about electric scooters. As a 60 year old lady, I felt a little uncertain about making an enquiry, but someone had previously recommended the service at this place. They were spot on. Mario(s) went to a lot of trouble to assist in e-scooter comparisons, helped me try out the different models, and was polite and courteous at all times, along with being really well informed. I thought I wasnt quite ready to buy, but the incredible patience, coupled with the great quality sturdy and reliable scooters on offer, at fab prices, meant that I pushed the boat out and made an impulse purchase. Clearly Pure Electric are offering what no online shop can match- fabulous customer service, superb information and a backup repair facility. Other assistants at the shop even went to some trouble to research how much it costs to recharge the battery on the scooter ( a barely perceptible 15/20p per battery charge!). They even assisted with building the scooter, charging the battery, putting the packaging aside to collect later, and helping with setting up the app-all for free. Ditch your impersonal screen shopping and fossil fuels, and scoot along to this awesome shop, with old fashioned five star service, reliable backup and attention to detail. You wont be sorry.

Edit: Sadly I need to downgrade my review slightly, though this is owing to the product (Flux One) than the very good service. Sadly the Pure Flux One seems to have real issues with its brakes, including severe vibration and judder as well as letting out an almighty shriek. The mechanic at Spitalfields has tried his best (all manner of adjustments, different types of pads, etc) to remedy the situation, but sadly to no avail. Still, credit to him for trying. Previous review for posterity: Sorted out a new ebike (their in house Flux One) on short notice. Excellent, good humoured service from people who clearly know what they're doing. Many thanks!

I needed a replacement battery for my Orbea Gain and even though the battery took sometime to arrive from Spain which was no surprise or fault of the shop given the current supply issues I was kept informed. The mechanic Ros I think his name is did a great job inspite of my HexLox which I had forgotten to remove !

I have had two punctures fixed at your shop now, the most recent one on the 4th of November. Unfortunately as soon as I got home I noticed that the tyre was down again. It's a slow puncture this time and I'm sure it didn't occur on my way back. Please tell me what you think about this as I'm really fed up with it now.

Scooter Review - Pure Air I use th scooter mainly for traveling to swimming pool which cuts travel time from 30 mins to 10 - great improvement. I use it as well on trips further away, take it on the tube for example with no problem. It is lightweight enough for me and doesnt take this much space. I wouldnt take it on rush hour though. I managed to clock just short of 300km and cannot see any performance drop so far. I have fun riding this thing and I cannot recommend enough having a scooter in London - in my opinion it totally beats the car or public transport on short to medium lenght trip. By medium I mean anything above 10k which for me means 30mins trip to London Fields Swimming Pool if I want to enjoy swimming under the open sky - cheaper, more fun and arrival time similar to Uber. Having spent just £300 (I was lucky with promotion) on it Im not to worried about this thing being stolen - the thieves know this is not very valuable so it might be not worth the efoort and risk. Perhaps some thieves could get us some insight here...please do comment. Design It looks ok ( I have grey one which I like more than black one) and it is not to heavy. Battery is inseparable which I perosnally like as it means I dont have to take it with me when I leave the scooter locked to a bike stand. It has built in 3 speeds - 15km/h, 20km/h and 25km/h. Mobile App is nice and clear. Would be nice if it was possible to have it in a small window while google navigation is on. Within navigation you can lock the scooter on/off but I never use this feature. To be frank I never use the app as it conflicts with navigation. Warning There is a design fault with the braking system. I had an accident on it and broke a bone because of that. I was going down gentle path for buggies on a wet day. I started to break and front wheel caught a bit of wet twig which resulted in locking the front wheel and in consequence my fall. I understand that braking system has energy recovery built in so because of that the back wheel is not possible to lock in braking. Unfortunatelly it is possible block the front wheel. I believe I dont have to explain that on any two wheel means of transport blocking front wheel alone is a recipe for disaster. Normally on a bicycle you have two brakes for each wheel separately but in the instance of this cooter there is only one for both whcih means you hvae no choice... When riding on wet weather be aware of that and be gentle on the speed and brakes. It is puddles and rain resistant. Safety I developed 3 rules while riding scooter: 1. Pedestrian has the right of way (I can notice that it is scarry for many seeing a guy speeding on a scooter - there is really no need in scaring people, therefore...) 2. When around pedestrians always slow down to match their walking speed or just above to gently overtake. 3. On a downhill do not exceed 15km/h. This thing has small wheels and braking is poor so this affects stability and braking distance. Additionally I dont ride on a road like I would on a bicycle. I never felt comfortable indicating with one hand off the handle bar - itiny wheels make it definitely not as stable as the bicycle and it doesnt take kindly sudden changes in surface texture. Real Life Range On 25km/h setting and lights off the max range I could get was 12km. At around 8km I switch to 20km/h just to be sure Im going to make it home without pushing and I do with one last bar flashing. My weight is around 105kg in full clothing and backpack. Overall I love it. I hope they will improve it. I dont need faster one just the range could be longer. 25km/h max speed is just comfortable and responsible.

This shop has just opened. I rang them today on the off chance, to see if they could replace the flat tires on my e-scooter. The customer service I received was exceptional. They were generous, patient and had great depth of knowledge about their products. I’d highly recommend this shop for it’s customer service and their repair servicing skills. I opted for solid state tires after having several punctures. I’d highly recommend this (it’s a little harder...but you’ll never have a puncture again. Which in London, is music to my ears!) The shop also has a well selected and refined collection of e-bikes and -e-scooters on sale. Check these guys out! 5*

The staff is very friendly and they sell quality products. Yesterday I came across to Pure Electric after the worst experience I have ever had with another bikeshop 5 minutes walking away distance away from this shop. I was fixing a puncture by using the pump in front of E1 Cycles which is very nice of them, until they came out and took the pump inside. When I asked if I can use it with my shocked eyes, he said that he is closing the shop although google maps says the closing time is 18.00, he said he closes at 17.30 and it was only 17.10. I left without fixing my puncture, started walking and luckily came across with PURE ELECTRIC. The staff there was extremely friendly, landed me a pump, offered help for my puncture. I fixed it and left in peace. Thank you for your kindness and support. As cyclists that's exactly what we need from a bikeshop. Keep up the great work. All the stars from me.

Friendly and efficient. They were able to quote me the price upfront beforehand, and fixed my puncture on my ebike very professionally. So I had to have my rear mudguard replaced and first they said it’s no problem but I had a xiaomi replica so the rear light had a different size connector cable so they said we can change the mudguard but not the light instead of giving up they changed both of the lights over and then replaced it so I have my original light but a new mudguard it’s nice to see some people aren’t lazy and will actually make the effort to make the customer happy
