What can I say other than outstanding! I emailed Bobby to inquire about a wheel build and was promptly sent a quote as well as different options for wheel depth. Once we agreed on components the build took just over a week to complete. The quality and attention to detail on the wheels are second to none. They're comfortable, sturdy, and deadly silent and really tied my whole bike build together finally. They were very up front about pricing for all the extras I needed (valves, tyre fitting etc) and it was all extremely reasonable. Definitely check these guys out for any wheel building needs or mechanic needs. Outstanding service, i will definitely be back sooner than later.

These gentlemen are great. The bolt on my seat clamp snapped on the way home. I went to a few bike shops which suggested a replacement seat post but none were in stock. None of them were willing to replace the bolt…except SBC. I called, they answered, and within 15 mins I was riding home again for a v reasonable charge. Thank you for saving my backside - literally and figuratively on this cold and wet day! A great local bike shop.

I've been to SBC several times now - always fantastic service and expertise, and excellent value. Just had my bike fully serviced there and it's running better than it was when brand new - due, no doubt, to the fact that I made the mistake of buying it elsewhere. Can't recommend SBC highly enough.

DELIGHTED with my new bike. I couldn't find a bike on the market that suited my needs as often mass produced bikes don't offer frame sizes that are suitable for a female rider of my height. I was also looking for something quite niche: a mixte frame as they are practical and versatile. The bike is built beautifully, including the wheels, and I'm very happy with it. It is light (for a steel tourer/commuter with mudguards and a rack that is) and very comfortable to ride even with a 10kg toddler at the back - for once I have a bike that feels exactly the right size for me as oppose to a compromise. I initially contacted a local bike shop that did custom builds and didn't get anywhere. After a bit of Googling, that's how I found SBC and they helped me with the specs and were very patient with answering all my questions. It took my work far longer than anticipated to release a bike to work certificate and again SBC Cycles were extremely understanding. Thanks again Bobby and Jamie from a very happy customer.

Having used bike shops all over east London, with varying results, some pricy, some with questionable service. I truly believe I have found a bike shop gem. The service has been top notch and prices and reasonable too. Whats more, Jamie, Mark and all the guys running the place are just fantastic chaps.
