Love cwmcarn and surrounding area. Trails are ok. Can get a little wild at times. Good uplift service. Onsite facilities are pretty good. Staff in ps cycles are so friendly.

Decent downhill trails. There aren't many main DH trails, which can be a bit limiting for a whole day. There are a few more off piste trails which are good fun. Uplift bus takes quite a long time, but is friendly

Absolutely outstanding service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend, which is a big bonus for me as they are my local bike shop. After finally making my mind up on a new bike, contacted them on a Tuesday (when they were shut, but still answered my email), discussed what I was after, gave me a great price. I asked whether there was any chance of getting the bike prior to the weekend and they bent over backwards to get the bike in on the Friday. When I collected they set up everything perfectly, and told me I had five years free servicing, so clearly very much about the customer service.

We've been visiting here for 4 years and we have 6 mtbikes. We have brought all our bikes for maintenance, bike hire and repairs and wouldn't even contemplate going anywhere else. The staff are the most knowledgeable that I have ever met, with James being an elite rider himself he knows all there is to know. James and Paul are both friendly and very accommodating and will do their very best to help and give very good advice. Providing an excellent all round service to bike enthusiasts. Highly recommended.

A slight admin issue at first, but a great place to demo the Bird bike range! I took a Aeris 120 for the day, staff where really help and set the bike up for my use. The also helped advise on what components maybe better for the bike if /when I order one. Word of warning the climb on the Twrch trail is long but the descents are worth it.

They've helped fix various issues with my bike over the last couple of visits to Cwmcarn. They've always been very friendly, knowledgeable and got some great demo bikes too and loads of bike spares!! Essential place to visit.

My bike had not been serviced for 2 years but Ps sorted it out in no time. After doing one loop of Cwmcarn, James the mech gave my bike an on-the-spot brake bleed in 15 mins so I could ride again. He even did a follow-up check at no cost after another loop. I decided my bike needed a full service and some upgrades, so I asked Ps to fit new forks, rear mech, bottom bracket and give the wheels a good straightening. They did all this in a few days and with a great discount too :-) Would deffo use them again! I also really like the Muc Off bio-friendly degreaser they stock - it really gets the bike clean and with the least mess of all other similar products I've tried. Thanks Ps!

I'm only speak for the trails, not the bike shop, but I had a great ride around here with a great mix of fast flow and tricky sections - makes good use of the elevation on the way down - nothing too steep, but still loads of fun.
