If you want the best for your bicycle - this is the place!
S. E.Needed a new gear shift lever. Was told it would take 4 days. They rang the following day to say it was done. I had another minor gear problem a few days later. Took it back and they did it on the spot. Can't fault them. Highly recommend this cycle shop. Best in Northampton

D. W.Just in Northampton for a quick break and a borrowed bike malfunctioned while on a ride (crank loose/slipped). Took it along to Newlec and the guy took at quick look when I brought the bike in, told me it looked okay and put the crank back on properly. No fuss, no "leave it with us and I'll have a look later and give you a call." Service like this in shops like this are invaluable these days. Only wished I lived here to be able to benefit from it more often. Many thanks.

R. M.Excellent swift service, very friendly staff and got my poor old bike back on the road in no time. even chucked in a few freebies! Not very experienced in how much bike repairs cost but i was pleasantly surprised with how much it cost and i doubt the likes of Halfords would of been cheaper. Highly recommend!
D. S.I left my electric bike for a safety check and rear wheel problem, Newlec fixed it and it now rides better than when I first had it. I felt very confident that the service given was top notch. They now have another bike of mine for spoke tightening and safety check. Thanks.
P. J.Only the second time I've used Newlec since they were recommended to me. This time wasn't as good as the first. I picked up my bike after a standard service and went out the following day to test it. Some miles out I realised it wouldn't go down into the smaller chainring having come up earlier in the ride. I decided I couldn't do my anticipated ride in the big ring and turned round. I headed for the shop only to be told the mechanic wasn't there today. I returned the next day and left it with him. I returned the following day to pick it up and was assured all was now ok. Sunday will be the club ride so we'll see then.
Sunday: The bike felt great. No problems with gear changes at all.
