I’ve just been to pick up my Santa Cruz 5010 CC dream build. Even throughout lockdown Alex has been brilliant, not just on price (way cheaper than off the shelf prices), but also his customer service and attention to detail has been Amazing. I’ve used Alex for a few years for services and various other bike projects. I had no hesitation in giving him my big build project and he hasn’t disappointed at all. Class shop. Cheers Alex. 🤙🏼

I have just recently had my bike serviced along with my two sons Bikes and the customer service and work done to our bikes was excellent. I will definitely return for anything bike related in the future, in fact we have also ordered a bike for my daughter as the price was very reasonable. I have to say ive read through the reviews on here and it’s pretty obvious that a lot of the negative reviews are obviously a joke and I’m glad i made the decision to actually go to the bike shop myself to find out how good the the service is.

I have been using shockwave bikes since 2010. Their level of knowledge about bikes is incredible. Over the years I’ve had around 6 bikes built by Alex. Their servicing costs are the cheapest around and the attention to detail is second to none. If you’re looking for a new bike, repairs or servicing I strongly recommend you give these guys a call.

Took my mums bike in during lockdown and Alex was so helpful. He ensured social distancing was in place and ensured I got the bike back and fully serviced within a week. Would recommend.

I’ve just picked up a custom build bike from Alex. The attention to detail and communication throughout has been outstanding. In a internet shopping / big bike shop led world Alex has competed on price and blown the big boys out the water when it comes to attention to detail. On a couple of occasions while I’ve been in the shop chatting bikes, locals have popped in with punctures etc and Alex has sorted. No job to big, or to small! I Would and have recommend Sshockwave to my friends. Big up to the small bike shops!

sShockwaves is a fantastic shop with miles of knowledge. I needed a bike a month ago, he'd sorted me out within hours of me calling & was delivered the following morning. The fact that fake accounts by a certain individual trying to tarnish this mans name & business is disgusting, Reading them is laughable.

Went in needing a new tyre, as had to cycle back to Nottingham City Centre, he found me a very serviceable part used there and then fitted it for a nominal change. Excellent

Valve core on a tubeless wheel snapped off while inflating the tyre. Took the wheel into Sshokwave and Alex, the owner, repaired the problem while I waited. Great service.
