Before I had even booked my Elly Cube in for a service I pointed out a few niggles which were immediately sorted! Impressive. Next, service: update of electrics and general MOT - great service (with a smile and endless enthusiasm). This shop is great and they have a loyal customer in me now. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Andy and staff. It was harder than I expected to buy an ebike due to what seemed to be a national lack of supply, especially for bike for big riders. Unlike most other shops the manager seemed to be actually interested in helping, sent emails for manufacturers and eventually the bike was delivered close to a month early (Cube). It is a very small shop with just on street parking in an interesting part of Oxford, just a few minutes drive from the ring road

The guys who work here offer an A*** customer service. They do their utmost to give all options to you and DO NOT try to convince you to buy an expensive piece of kit etc that you do not need. They work hard to find what is suitable to one's needs and budget and make every effort to help keep the cost down. I couldn't find more honest, genuine, hardworking and helpful people. And this is not just the paid staff but I also was very impressed by the owner, whom I spoke to once and actually argued himself out of being able to sell me a more expensive bit of kit - that I didn't really need. They are also always friendly with lots of smiles and cheerfulness - despite having to work in some very extreme temperatures 40°C in the workplace! I can't thank them enough! Very friendly service during the three years since I bought my bike from the Cambridge branch. Expert advice and no need to book well in advance. They have a good range of unusual bikes such as Haibike and Reise and Muller. I do hope they don't move far away from me, as they're just around the corner!

Firsy let me say I have been building electric bikes for over 20 years and I am a qualified Bosch electric bike tecnician so I hope my opinion here is made with some experience. I recently went for broke and bought a brand new LaPierre Overvolt elctric MTB from the Elctric Transport shop in Magdalen rd in Oxford. The bike is fantastic, I can not emphasize how much I love riding it. Tom & Lewis who run the shop are really good. They really do know what they are doing (I think I should know) and the customer support is polite, courteous, and professional. No pressure sales, sensible prices and well informed test rides. I’ve waited to post this review as I wanted to be as honest and sincere as possible. I converted my husbands bike to an ebike so I could haul the kids around in the bike trailer without almost passing out every journey (they are heavy toddlers). This conversion has changed my life. I don’t even break a sweat. And if I wanted to get a bit of exercise in I can turn the battery off. But I don’t. Because why would I (joking not joking)😅 Everything is easier and more JOYFUL! Even when I cycle on my own, I’m loving life it’s so much fun!!!! I feel safe and I am so so happy it’s one of the best investments i have ever made. I recommend everyone to try an ebike. Especially in Oxford. WOW!!!! The guys at this place are amazing. The most incredible customer service always happy and willing to help. I was so indecisive and unsure about what I wanted before deciding on a conversion and they were always willing to help me come up with a solution that suited me and that I could afford. I’ve gone back there a few times with things they weren’t obligated to help me with and they did so happily, for example, fitting a child seat, a bike rack, and changing my saddle over (I had bought those items online so they we’re definitely not obliged) they also threw in a free bike light when I got my conversion done. I haven’t had any issues at all. And even if i did I know that they would help me out straight away. Thank you Lewis and Tom. I am very very happy and so grateful!!! I recommend everyone to pop down to this awesome place!! Get yourself an ebike or convert your oldie but goodie like me and fall in love all over again 🤣

I rang the store an Lewis took the call his knowledge on these bikes was incredible When picking my wife’s bike up I took another one there asked them to check it out This one I bought on line through a company call Pure Electric to my shock no preparation was done on it The two engineers have without charge put the bike right ready to go Since visiting the shop an the remarkable work they have done I’ve ordered another Haibike 6 from them an looking forward to using it Basically best to avoid internet companies go to the professionals Thank guys fir your help Regards Dave

My KTM ebike had a wobbly. A heavy commuting bike wasn’t much fun to ride with no e-assistance, my old hip letting me know it wasn’t too happy. Having an automatic gear box meant for a while that I was stuck in first gear, peddling like mad and getting nowhere. Such a comic sight to behold ;o). At least the workout meant calorific use went up as well as my heart rate. I gave Electric Bike Sales in Magdalen Road, Oxford a call. It’s where I bought the bike in 2015. I was surprised that the staff were new. Helpful or what? Lewis definitely knows his stuff, educating me on how to look after my new Bosch battery, (obviously being doing it wrong since I bought the bike), and James is quickly learning the ropes and has a very helpful manner. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I rode away an hour or so later with the biggest smile on my face. After Lewis’ work my bike hadn’t felt as good for such a long time. An outstanding neighbouring bike shop. My bike's tire had gone completely flat and the tube came off on the street when I took it out without realising it. I sought a rescue at the closest bike shop I could think of. They helped me without hesitation, explained what caused it (so that I can prevent it in the future), and sorted out the issue right away! I love my electric bike, use it much more than I imagined. Purchasing, this was the most knowledgeable shop, hence I bought from them although not my nearest place to purchase from. I am so excited to now own a Raleigh Motus Tour Hub. I had done a lot of research before contacting Electric Bike Sales Oxford. I had read the raving reviews so thought it a safe choice if I was to be investing such a lot of money and the reviews were accurate. Andy and Lewis gave us excellent service - nothing was any trouble. We went two weeks ago to test drive a bike and I was immediately sold. Exactly what I wanted and needed. I then picked it up the following week. There was no hard sale and they answered all our questions - it was very relaxing - even during the pandemic. I have been shielding since last March and was happy that most of the chatting was done outside with masks on - very covid secure. I am just waiting for the weather to play ball now to let me get out riding. Great after sales checking in too. Try one - you will not look back.

Hi well if you have a electric bike in Oxford this is the place to go for any requirement like servicing repairs or indeed any thing involved with electric bikes. I have had my TD 612 bike which is a Chinese Dutch style bike and have had it serviced and repaired at this store for the last four years. Must admit it is certainly value for money and the staff are so friendly and you do get a honest opinion of the state of your bike. Charges are standard a tad less the a mot for your car so in my book its a win win situation only place I will have my bike serviced.

I ordered a new e bike on the Electric Transport shop on line through the company portal . I found that very easy experience with a clear path on the steps to complete order . I was little surprise customer had to pay for delivery however it was not expensive around £20 .00 It took about three working day to receive bike which had a tracking system so you could see delivery location. The bike was delivered on time actually before mid-day he placed it out side garage door so well done to driver . The bike box was up side down so I was immediately concerned about new bike . I was relieved to say the bike was up the right way and had front wheel on so only pedals and turn handle bars and charge battery. No damage to bike love it 2019 Hibike cross 3.0 with Bosch Performance line cx gen 3 in grey . I have purchased and had services from Transport shop York great customer care not many shops will take old e bike part exchange

The Electric Bike Shop website has a great Buying Guide, which is a good place to start before you even look at bikes. Will, in the shop, has an amazing knowledge and just explains and gently guides you in the right direction. With help, we knew that we had 2 options to choose from. A couple of trips round the block and the decision was made. Time for a coffee along the road, whilst the bike was checked over. Will replaced the front wheel motor on our tandem in just 2 hrs. My first visit to this shop, I was impressed by his knowledge & skill and very reasonable price for this work. The motor looks good & we are very pleased our tandem is fit & ready for another season. Having brought the tandem up from Dorset on my roof rack I was pleased to find that there are roadside parking bays by the shop. Our tandem was converted to electric over 4 years ago at the ETS Cambridge. My self, wife and our dog (carried in a front dog pannier) have enjoyed nearly 3,000miles of cycling on-road and off-road and the motor has helped us climb thousands of feet in the process. The front wheel motor is also excellent on sand, gravel & mud as we have drive to both wheels (motor front, pedal power rear) so we have plenty of traction. The original motor was a prototype and has done well to have worked so hard for us over this time & distance. And due to sound advice from ETS, the original battery is still providing us with power. Well done the Electric Bike Company.

Having researched on the web, I am mightily glad I found a local supplier of such high quality and reliability, who additionally was very competitve price-wise. Further to the above, I have now test driven the bike I purchased - a Cube Touring Hybrid Pro 500. If you know Oxford, I have been up Headington Hill, Divinity Road, Southfield Road, and Morrell Avenue, travelling a total of 11 miles. It has only used 20% of the battery power and gone up everything like a dose of salts.

I was in the market to purchase an electric bicycle. I called several stockists very few were helpful in any way whatsoever. I found ETS via google the website looked excellent so I telephoned the store I spoke with Will he was very polite knowledgeable and helpful we had a few conversations over a few days I had an idea as to I wanted with his help and advice I purchased a Haibike. It was not in stock the delivery lead time he gave me was spot on. I live in the North West of .England as Oxfordshire is an awful long way He built the bike and had it delivered to my home Via TNT. I was concerned what condition it would arrive in. It was perfect all boxed up no marks or scratches. (Translated) Oops! A flat tire in Oxord with a special electric folding bike. Pumped up and then I was just able to come to this bicycle repair shop on a busy day when I found him while he was repairing another bicycle. "Yes, it is busy but I am not going to leave you on your vacation!" In the meantime, while we were having a nice chat, I immediately solved my problem and made a few small improvements to the bike for a great price! I was immediately able to continue my vacation in Oxford and other places in England. Thanks for the quick service and pleasant treatment! (Original) Oeps! Een lekke achterband in Oxord met een speciaal elektrisch vouwfietsje. Opgepompt en toen kon ik nog net naar deze fietsenmaker komen op een drukke dag waarop ik hem aantrof terwijl hij een andere fiets aan het repareren was. "Ja, het is wel druk maar ik ga jou niet laten staan, op je vakantie ! " Terwijl we ondertussen gezellig babbelden heeft bij direct mijn probleem verholpen en nog een paar kleine verbeteringen aan de fiets aangebracht voor een prima prijs!
