I took my bike to Graham as my mountain bike needed a good service and gear change. Graham was so professional and the service I received was excellent from start to finish! After receiving my bike back, it feels as good as new, the gears have never felt so smooth! I would definitely recommend Graham to anyone

Mr. Graham it's a very experienced bike mechanic, very knowledgeable in what he is doing and very nice and friendly. He changed brake pads and a tyre of my electric bike very quick and on a very affordable price. The atmosphere was very warm. I would definitely recommend everyone to come over for repairs on this workshop as the prices and overall customer service it's definitely more custom made comparing with a large high street workshop.

I purchased a secondhand bike and took it to Graham for a full service and to replace any worn parts. Graham gave a honest appraisal of what work needed doing and what the total cost would be. Graham is a skilled cycle mechanic and takes great pride in his work. When I collected my bike, Graham had deep cleaned it and it rode like a new bike. He is also very happy to give advice on accessories etc. I would recommend Hix Cycles 100%. You will receive excellent service and advice.

Got an old electric hybred bike.which had been in an accident and Needed TLC, A new electric bike was not an option, as government have changed the rules re the power input ect ... Lots of hard work by graham to get the bike road safely. Can't thank him enough for all the effort he put into it... I have recently had my bike made by Graham. I can genuinely say that I have not come across many people with the kind of expertise and integrity that Graham has. The cycle is built to a fantastic standard, the service was impeccable, and it looks terrific. I gave Graham a max price limit as I commute to work and do some leisurely weekend cycling. He didn't ask me for any extra money and stuck to the limit. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anybody who is interested in cycling.

Excellent work done here by Graham. Had my rear wheel respoked and couldn't be happier with the work done. I had been loyal to Motorsavers for the past few years but grew tired of constant issues and poor service. So a few weeks back took to Google to find somewhere new, finding Hix Cycles, and how lucky I am to have found this place! Graham has exposed just how incompetent they really are spotting numerous issues with my bike Motorsavers really should have noticed considering they offer full bike maintenance and checks. With not knowing a lot about bikes and they must know this they can fob you off and take your money. Never again! Full loyalty is now with Graham at Hix Cycles! Friendly, extremely competent and informative, money well spent on an excellent, trust worthy service! Love biking? Trust no one else and come here! Glad I found this place!

I took my Giant road bike to Graham after battering it over the winter on my work commute. After he’d finished with the brakes, front and rear derailleurs, replacement rear wheel (that he’d hand built) and general fine tuning, it now feels like a new bike. Fantastic work! I recently had my 1970's Pashley Tandem restored back to full health by Graham, and I have to say the service was excellent! It was quite battered and needed all sorts of things doing to it, but he got straight to work and had it repaired within a few days, at a very reasonable price. Graham of Hix Cycles did a thorough and professional repair on my bike after the rear wheel, brake disc, rim, gear cassette and bottom bracket were damaged by a car. He repaired it all in four days and it's like new! I couldn't recommend him more.

I was looking for my 28 year old bike to be repaired and read the excellent reviews for Hix Cycles so gave Hix Cycles a call Graham inspected the bike and advised me what was wrong and what was needed to repair it, giving me an estimate of costs. 2 weeks later I collected the bike and it is like new. Graham did a great job and I would very highly recommend him to others.
