This shop is ideally suited to trentham gardens. The service that I have received there has always been first rate with expert advice and knowledgeable information. Wide range of merchandise, albeit slightly on the pricey side. The use of a TG membership card reduces the amount by 10% though. Would recommend a visit if you're into cycling!

I bought trainers from here and got excellent service. Getting a gait analysis on the treadmill helped me make sure the trainers I bought were exactly what I needed. So I came back with my bike and got similarly excellent service from Paul, the bike repair guy. I'd highly recommend this place.

Lovely shop and great service. I popped in there as I was on the way back from the north, had a ride I needed to do in the day & had forgotten some bits. Fantastic service from a very friendly helpful member of staff. Only used the repair side of the business so far but they offered excellent service. Took my sons wheel to have a spoke replaced. Brought my bike in for a bronze service. Done within 24hrs. As it turned out there was very little to actually work on so they only charged for the time spent and not the whole service. 100% happy with my first gait analysis. After getting into running more I thought I should have the correct trainers and also getting a gait analysis would be the first step to help. Time was given to explain the process and was shown all the feedback videos so I could see the difference each time. Never forced into buying the most expensive trainers and having the chance to run in them before buying made sure a decent fit too. Here’s to enjoying my running all thanks to the time the staff took to help.

Visited 2 weeks ago for a gait analysis. The team were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was pointed in the direction of a pair of running shoes appropriate for me and they have been amazing. They also ordered me different pair in 2 different sizes so I could try them on, good communication too as I was rang and informed when they had arrived in stock. I went to pick them up and was allowed to try them out on the treadmill and purchased them also. Would definitely recommend 👌

Took my Cube mountain bike in for some tires and the saga began. Tires were done promptly, however on collection I asked if I could get a quick bit of advice on the front derailleur as it wasn't shifting properly. 5 mins later Paul spotted that a cable had completely come out and the entire gear mechanism was loose, my bike was going nowhere. There followed a short discussion about white water kayaks versus mountain bikes and which hurts more when it goes wrong (not relevant but was a good discussion!) and I agreed to leave it with them to look at. Move forward another week, re-routing of cables done, brakes tightened up, hyrdraulic release switch fixed, new spacer fitted and everything works brilliantly at a very reasonable price. I should now mention that this went into another bike shop to get all the aforementioned stuff sorted a year ago.... Really friendly staff, great service, very knowledgeable and will be using them for all my bike stuff from now on. Would highly recommend.

We had been looking for 2 E Bikes and had visited large retailers who were not very helpful. We came across Peak Riders and Striders whilst visiting Trentham Gardens. They had just the type of bike we had been looking for. Jacob was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. While trying to adjust the head set bearings on my bike I discovered the plug in the carbon steer tube had become loose. Not having come across this issue before I phoned Peak Rider & Striders for some advice or help. Without hesitation I was told bring it into the shop that very day and they would sort it out (how refreshing to get such a response). Thanks to you guys I can now go on the Sunday club run. I would highly recommend their prompt, efficient and friendly service.

Great customer service & very friendly. After a disasterous time trying to find a new bike online, I turned to this shop. There's a big area right outside where you can test ride the bikes. I found a bike but it needed a few alterations to suit me (higher handlebars & new crankset to achieve higher gears). Nothing was a problem and I came out with a bike that is a dream to ride. Working on a fixed schedule I needed my bike gear cables replacing, originally I was booked in Halfords who on inspection told me it’d take them 5 WEEKS! to repair or have any work carried out so in desperate search of a bike repair shop on a Sunday we came across Peak Riders & Striders, a quick phone call and the young lady on the phone told us pop down and that they’d have it sorted in 15-20 mins on a Sunday!! We got there and were greeted by Paul who went through the options of what needed repairing with an honest opinion on what needed replacing etc in this case a gear cable and chain, we were told to come back after half an hour whilst they got to work on it and repaired any issues, the staff were very friendly and polite and I will definitely be returning here in future and would recommend Peak Riders as a first option! Thanks guys!

Stopped for a coffee at Stoke on Trent, decided to pop into Peak Riders and Striders, being Scottish were very selective in our Bike Shops, the guys at Peak didn’t disappoint, have recently damaged the bolt on my Focus Mares 6.7 seat post clamp. The guys wouldn’t here of me paying for a replacement instead supplied me with a replacement hex bolt to fit, paying special attention to detail that was exactly right. Great staff who go the extra mile. Shop has a great selection of well everything inc tools, parts, clothes, great selection of muc off besides lots and lots of tasty new bikes. Nice "whiteish" focus jam....wink. Took my bike in with a large to do list....too large to list but I can tell you all there was alot. Done in record time meaning I can ride it next day...and I'm sure it looked cleaner. just as I wanted. I visited Peak Riders & Striders around a month ago after having issues with shin splints while running. The staff were excellent and recommended I try a pair of Asics Gel Kayano trainers after gait analysis. I'm now pain-free when I run, I'm running further and I'm putting in better times.
