We hired E-Bikes for the day for the first time and can highly recommend them especially as these were the best price around too! We did the Coast to Coast Trail which was a very good ride and we all enjoyed it. Greg was very informative and helpful, he dropped the bikes to us and picked them up and was available on the phone when we needed help. Great service and overall great experience!

Excellent value and convenience (drop-off and pickup). The CTC team were very responsive and were happy to fit my pedals. The road bikes although not the most up-to-date (roughly about 5 years old) were well maintained and handled the 85km round trip from Falmouth to Lizard no problem.

From the moment we made contact to the moment the bikes were picked up the service was hassle free and professional. We hired 4 ebikes and let Greg pick suitable ones and the bikes were superb. My wife got just over 40km out of her battery but we were off road for most of that and on SW coastal path so tough going and using a lot of power assistance. I saved my battery and after 45km still had half my battery life so for strong cyclists 70-80km might be feasible. Reccomended routes are coast to coast (Portreath - Devoran) and coastal path (Porthreath to Hayle) both easily achievable in a leisuraly day. Highly reccommended.

Excellent service from Greg, hired a MB and E-bike for a day to do the coast to coast. Both bikes were in good working order and no problems encountered at all. Greg dropped them off when and where we'd asked and was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a brilliant day out cycling.

What a great day! We booked through Coastal Trail Cycle Hire and ended up with pedal assist-electric bikes that were in good condition and worked perfectly for us as beginner bikers who wanted to ride the Coast to Coast trail in one day. About a month before, I sent an email with a few questions and to confirm our reservation. Greg was quick to respond with answers and information and to let me know that they would fulfill my request for a certain type of bike. He was at the designated delivery spot well in time and told us to give him a call about a half hour before we would return to the original point for him to pick up the bikes and he was, of course, there when we arrived. Before we began our ride from Portreath to Devoran, he made sure we knew how to find our way and that we felt comfortable handling our bikes because neither of us had ridden a pedal-assist electric bike before. We loved them, they were great for going up hills. Helmets were provided and he had different sizes so that we felt protected with a good fit. Also provided were a tool kit and a flat tire repair kit. He lent us a backpack that worked better than what we had brought. He did not rush us in any way and he was a very friendly and helpful man. We appreciated his great customer service and highly recommend Greg and Coastal Trail Cycle Hire.
