For a year and a half I looked at the website every day. I already used a tricycle, and I was fascinated by what Jorvik promised. Today I can say that I am very happy with my purchase. It was super easy to assemble by myself, even without knowing much English. The tutorial videos here on the page are essential. I found it super fast, and I did several tests. Today I feel that there is a lot of practicality in the electric model. I can climb the steep curves of the University effortlessly. The material is resistant. All very well done. The battery lasts an average of 3 days. It is worth buying cargo bags to better accommodate shopping or backpacks. The only points that I see as disadvantages are: if the battery is low, it is very difficult to pedal without any assistance. So the use as a type of bicycle is not the proposal of this model. The lights only come on when turned on. So I need to use extra flashlights.

My Jorvik experience started in October 2020 when I visited York to test ride a JMT-7, I had already done my research & decided on that model, because of the mid-drive motor. The test ride was fantastic & expertly handled, I decided there & then that’s the tricycle for me. I was advised of all of the finance options & lead times. Fast forward to February 1st 2021, & I was ready to place my order, it had taken me a few months to get the purchase price together. I placed my order with a 10% deposit & was given a mid-March delivery date, I was advised that this was subject to potential delays due to Brexit/Covid/Import delays. This was absolutely fine by me & completely understandable. Over the following few weeks I was kept informed via email as to how my order was progressing & I had my questions quickly answered & accessory orders added to my main order. I received my JMT-7 on February 27th, it was delivered, fully assembled by Gavin in the Jorvik van (I live close to York). Gavin went through all the features & controls, then answered any questions I had. There were a couple of things that had to be adjusted/exchanged in the first couple of weeks, Jade handled this via email, very professionally & friendly, the charger was faulty & replaced via next day delivery. I’ve now been riding my tricycle for three months, without any problems whatsoever, the build & component quality is spot on for the price bracket. I’ve gained more confidence with any range anxiety as the JMT-7 has performed outstandingly. My longest ride, 28 miles, on pedal assist 5, many hills, & I arrived home with 26% battery remaining. Many thanks to, Emma, Claire, Jade & Gavin for their excellent customer service & help with any issues/queries I had.

Loving my Jorvik trike - Blue Jet 1. But, it does take a while to get used to riding uneven and markedly cambered roads. The balance and posture thing is very odd at first, but gets better and staying seated when coming to a stop will become second nature. Based on my experience, keep looking ahead and don’t try to do too much too soon - as they say, allow yourself to reflect on and process each ride and how you met its challenges. I’ve noticed on urban streets some drivers react with extra caution around a trike and will pull in to allow you to pass, but don’t assume this and there’s no shame in stopping or pulling over if you feel it’s too risky. Having the trike has get me back on (three) wheels and with growing confidence I’m beginning to experience all the pleasures of cycling again. Thanks Jorvik!

Bought a stunning pink and black electric tricycle. Ex display. Absolutely adore it. It's 8 weeks old. Unfortunately had to be repaired twice. It is ex demo. Even so. Today they brought me my beauty back after she has been in the workshop a week. This bike has changed my life. It's got me out of my home and out and about. It has helped me with my fitness and my confidence. She is a well known hit locally already. So here's the thing. Today she was brought back to me with a purple rear axle. They don't stock my colour anymore hence why it was ex display. I was stunned. It wasn't expected. She doesn't look like my bike any more. Certainly not the one I ordered. So maybe she will grown on me I honestly don't know, but currently am sat at home with tears running down my face. I never thought I could get emotional over a bike. Don't get me wrong the staff are exceptional especially James. But currently feeling like they have delivered back someone else's bike and mine has gone forever

We bought an electric trike and it has helped out a family member, who due to disability cannot ride a normal bike. He is now joining the rest of the cyclists on an e-trike. Happy days.

Outstanding customer service. I've had beautiful electric Ernie for about a month and I'm absolutely in love. Had a little problem occur from the build by another bike shop and Jorvik sorted it for me. A little tinkering and Ernie feels like a whole new bike and I thought he was awesome before! Feels super safe and sturdy. Even had a little lesson in bike maintenance, gears and turning! I'm so thrilled with everything and everyone I've had the pleasure of dealing with at Jorvik! After many years of thinking about it I took the plunge and purchased a tricycle. It was not an easy decision as I loved my Ebike but after a few health issues and no longer feeling safe on my bike I decided a tricycle would be the best option. Loving my new trike Great trike great company Just taken delivery of my 24 electric Blue tricycle and can honestly say I’m bowled over by it ... Haven’t been able to ride in years due to ✓ leg issue . This has given me the opportunity to get out and enjoy cycling again . The tricycle arrived within 48 hours , Greg quality and looks amazing . Jorvik etricycle - not worth fifteen hundred pounds-updated as full refund recieved I have updated this review following receipt of the refund requested. We sent pictures of the problems we encountered along with explanations. We also had continuing problems with the gears so after two weeks further trial we requested a refund. To be fair to Jorvik, there were no problems with agreeing to the return and refund. They even arranged for collection of the assembled bike, so my latest experience of their customer service has been good. Below I have left the original review as you may find that you have the same issues. I have been very disappointed with this tricycle, both in terms of the quality of the components and the attitude of the post sales customer service. I ordered the Jorvik etricycle on 24/5/19. It was delivered on 29/5/19. During the assembly, we found that the chainwheel had 3mm of runout (wobble), which risked the chain coming off the gears. We immediately contacted the company, and facetimed to demonstrate the problem. They agreed to send a replacement. The new chainwheel was delivered on 5/6/19. We installed it and then tried indexing the gears. This didn’t work because the gear cassette was also suffering runout, more than 2mm. We facetimed the company again to demonstrate the problem. They showed us the showroom model which had significantly less runout than mine. We requested a new gear cassette, which was delivered on 10/6/19. To our amazement it had a fundamental design fault which meant it was unlikely to run true and would be likely to compromise the gears running correctly. (My husband as an engineer was able to make a part which fixed this problem, but how many people could do that?) We then found the derailleur bracket was not squarely mounted on the frame, and needed to be squared up. All in all, the trike spent 12 days in the living room, surrounded by tools, waiting for parts to arrive. It should have worked from day 1. The main issue has been the build and component quality – including: • Jorvik badge not completely secured to frame • Excessive runout (wobble) on chainwheel risking chain coming off gears • Weld splatter covering screwhole (needed filing off) • Chips to paint on frame (requested and received paint to cover) • Excessive runout on gear cassette making it impossible to get all gears indexed • Derailleur bracket not attached squarely to frame making it impossible to index the gears • Fundamental design weakness in the gear cassette I chose this bike after a fair amount of research, and initial contact with company was good. However, my partner and I have been very disappointed with the quality and lack of quality control with this product. This was further exacerbated by the offhand and slightly rude response from the engineer during both facetime calls. It was fortunate that my partner has the background and experience to be able to explain the technical issues and reasonable tolerances for the bike to the engineer at the factory who was extremely offhand and impatient – at no time did we receive an apology for the poor component quality and inconvenience. Without ‘inhouse’ support, I might have incurred significant additional cost by having the bike assembled at a bike shop, and then found it still didn’t perform as promised. I wouldn’t recommend this product or this company.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I had been looking for over a year for a tricycle and after visitimg a number of bike shops in my localç area was advised to go to Jorvik as they are a speacialist in tricycles. I can honestly say I am not disappointed from the start this company has been brilliant. The sales advice was spot on and the after care is second to none. My husband is an egineer and is quite a demanding customer but Jorvik answered all our questions and queris and I can honestly say this is one of the nicest companies I have dealt with. The tricycle arrived last Tuesday and my husband assembled the trike , he could not have been more happier with its quality. The end product is outstanding and I get stopped on every journey. I am starting to feel like a local celebrity... Huge 5 Stars from me Jorvik *****

Highly delighted with my Jorvik electric folding tricycle especially the PAS, makes cycling much easier, my wife and I are now able to enjoy cycle rides together tackling climbs we wouldn't have managed previously.
