A generous steak with a good fat to meat ratio. There is a delicious creaminess to the lean meat as well as the fat. A lingering depth of flavour. Great shop and amazing quality meat on offer. Worth a visit.

Lovely little farm shop, their own meat is fab, pies lovely you can get a good picnic from here to take up into the mountains. Owners are really friendly i hope they do really well and will welcome your support.

Excellent, friendly and helpful service. Knowledgeable advice about cuts of meat... and importantly all the meat looked absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to taste our purchases.

A family run business, selling their own beef lamb pork chicken. The meat is fantastic. All grass fed on the preseli hills. You can order online with delivery, or drop by. My favourite butchers by far!

The wife and I were staying in the Gellfawr retreat and saw the signs for this shop on our way to check in. Once we realised we had a kitchen in our room we went back to see what they were offering and what a find. Two rump steaks, free range eggs and a sourdough loaf later we were hooked. They even went and got an onion for us from their own store. Best steak ever. Returned on Friday on our journey home and filled a cool bag with lamb chops, mince, free range chicken, sausages, rib joint etc etc. Superb quality. Many thanks.

The meat quality is superb. We tried the rump steak, the bacon steak, the lamb cutlets, lamb and beef hamburgers, scotch eggs, pork steak and pork sausages with apple chutney. We have barbecued all the meat and we can say it was the best meat we have ever eaten. The shop is open till late and the owners' are really nice.

We stayed near Carla's Farm shop for a week in self catering accommodation and called in twice for local produce. Carla is so lovely and her meat is fantastic, we bought burgers and other local produce from her, the burgers were amazing! I don't think she sells online although she does have a website, so we will have to go back. Thank you very much Carla.

Best place I know to buy fresh and frozen meat. End of. Bread, cakes, fresh veg, milk eggs and preserves too, served with a smile. The Pembrokeshire lamb is superb. Great scenery too!

We've just slow roasted a shoulder of lamb which was delicious. Carla and others who serve are very friendly and helpful. We don't eat a lot of meat so when we do we make it a celebration and can highly recommend the Siop.

Fantastic meat. We bought gammon which had been marinaded in black molasses. It was absolutely superb. Obviously no preservatives or anything added, cooked beautifully and really stunning. Totally recommend. Wonderful service too. Go there!

Just cooked a rack of lamb from Cig Lodor on the BBQ, possibly the best lamb I've ever had (and I'm a lamb fan!) Beautifully tender. Got it from Friday market in Haverfordwest, great, friendly service from the lady on the stand. If you are around - go!

I don't normally do reviews but the quality of the Dexter beef steaks are absolutely amazing My partner discovered these while working in haverfordwest as they are in the farmers market on a Friday (they are also in Roath farmer market on a Saturday morning). We've tried tried the Sirloin and the ribeye, and we can honestly say it's the best steaks we've ever had. Tastes like what steak used to taste like and is soft and juicy. So much so that we live in neath and are prepared to make the journey to buy them as they really are outstanding. If the standard of the beef is anything to go by we can't wait to try the rest of their products.
