M. H.Plenty of off road parking outside the shop.
Limited number of customers in the shop at a time due to Covid restrictions-face masks requested.
Short queue outside shop, even at 2.30pm, so obviously a popular place
Several butchers serving so waiting time is minimal.
Not a large shop but wide range of produce available.
Butchers willing to accommodate customer requests and offer advice regarding cuts and portion sizes.
Meat looks good quality, but not yet tasted.
Didn't get to check out the sausage, bacon, burgers, pies yet.
Frankly, I was surprised by the high price of my meat purchases, but not having been to a family butchers shop for a long time (mainly use supermarkets), I guess I'm out of touch with paying for higher quality meats and service.
I bought a half shoulder of lamb-still quite large for a half, a good sized pork loin joint-plenty of skin for crackling, a chicken-as big as a small turkey haha, all for £45

Friendly staff.
We'll see how well it cooks and tastes over the Xmas and new year period...looking forward to it.
