Had a day out in Brighton and went to Pho for lunch. We were pretty famished having had no breakfast and walking along the beach. The food was so fresh and very tasty. The service was friendly and the environment comfortable. Great after a long day's exploration and walkabout.

Great place! Love the atmosphere and more importantly the food! Had the pork meatballs with peanut sauce and Pho soup with combo of steak, brisket and meatballs! Amazing!! Also tried the traditional Vietnamese coffee which was not too strong but was very tasty.

The food is fantastic, love the intense flavours. I had the spicy beef pho and it was delicious. The service was pretty poor, it wasn't very busy but everything took a long time. I must have waited about 20 minutes for my beer. Despite the wait though the staff were friendly and I would visit again just for the food.

The only criticism I have with this wonderful place is dogs being allowed in. We recently ate our meal with a huge dog not being controlled well by it's owner. The animal kept wandering off and tripping people up as it sprawled on the floor near the the stairs leading to the toilet. As we had our toddler with us we spent our meal being on edge. The food is excellent and staff are very friendly and we always eat here when we stay in Brighton

Pho is an amazing place for people who love Asian food. The service is decent, accompanied by a very nice setting and interior. It is both suitable for a quick snack and also a good meal on a date. In terms of the food, I was disappointed as the Spring rolls were very oily and inedible. The “pho” is certainly their best dish on the menu and the quantity is amazing. However I’d certainly prefer a little bit more quality at the expense of the quantity.

A lot of vegan options to choose from. Even the prawn crackers are vegan. The vegan pho was amazing. Lotus stems salad was very flavourful and tasty. Fresh spring rolls were crunchy and fresh.

Lots of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. We had the veggie spring rolls to start which were amazing - lots of filling, crispy and with a great dipping sauce. We then had the tofu and mushroom pho which was great, served authentically Vietnamese with lot of fresh herbs, beansprouts and lime to add yourself. Good portion and tasted fantastic. We also had the tofu and mushroom fried noodles which were full of flavour. Washed down with a Hanoi beer and it was almost like being back in Vietnam. Only negative was the homemade lemonade which didn't really taste like much, but everything else more than made up for it. As someone who is a little bit apprehensive about chain restaurants, I would fully recommend this to anyone who wants some decent vegan Vietnamese food!

Pho seems to be the latest flavour of the month, and at Pho Brighton they’ve nailed the complex Vietnamese pho flavours pretty well. The set lunches are good value, they come with a starter and drink as well as a main pho bowl. The starters of spring rolls were a nice healthy starter packed with a fresh prawn and crunchy bean sprouts and mint leaves. They were even better fried, but then they also come with a bunch more oily calories, but it was worth it. The pho broth tasted light and flavourful and although I had a spicy dish it wasn’t really that spicy so the addition of a few more chillies were needed to give it a little more bite. The meat was well cooked and veg was fresh and crunchy, while the noodles were springy and tasty and not too chewy. The venue is nice and spacious and great for big groups or smaller ones. The staff were great too, charming and friendly and serving the food quickly and keeping an eye on the need for drinks top ups. We had a nice lunch here so check it out if you fancy a quick but healthy bite.

I didn't have very high hopes for this place - I have been to too many generic High St Vietnamese places that under-deliver. But Pho Brighton was actually really good. Had a table outside so we could watch all the stag and hen parties stagger past, fall down drunk at 1 in the afternoon 😊😊🙄. Back to the food, the soup broth was excellent, and I couldn't fault anything that came to the table. Children's portions were a decent size. At £12 a head including service for a main and a drink, it was good value too. Would definitely go again.

Pho was very a comforting viatnameae street food There was a wide variety of both, vegetarian and non vegetarian options. If you’re a fan of spicy food, I highly recommend the hot and spicy section of the menu. I tried both, the beef brisket and chicken breast which were both really good options. The portion sizes are huge! I would suggest getting an appetizer and sharing the main pho amongst 2 people. The spring rolls and summer rolls as starters were decent. Make sure to get their chilli oil to have with all your food if you want extra flavour!

Very nice, as soon as we entered, the essences of phở was all we could smell. We went before the busy times hit, cause I know it does get busy during peak times. Staff were all nice and helpful, can't knock them. Food was nice, perhaps more beansprouts would of been nice. The interior was nice too. Recommended if you want a little flavour of phở in Brighton.

Seen so many adverts for pho so mum and I found it and decided to give it a try. SO glad we did. Chose from the lunchtime special menu. Staff were wonderful, explained how to eat the starter as we had not had it before. Service was speedy and efficient. Food was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again!

I've been several times to Pho Brighton. I ordered Cari (chicken) which is my favourite main dish (there are variations on the same dish with a vegetarian version of it too). The price is very reasonable, service is friendly and approachable. The atmosphere is lively and casual which was ok for us on a Saturday night, but maybe a bit too loud and busy if you want to spend time talking on a date. Overall fun place and good food.

What a great place to eat. Service from the staff initially appeared like they were fed up at our requests. We requested a booth because we had a baby and upon suggesting the high tables we knew for us it wouldn't suffice. Once seated in the booth the staff were really good. The one member of staff, possibly the manager took the order from us and didn't write any of it down. She remembered the lot which was remarkable. Food itself tasted really nice and was a good temperature to eat. The service was great and price overall is decent for what we ordered.

Had a 30th birthday here and staff were amazing, they could not have been more accommodating, helped us put up balloons and sang happy birthday when they brought out the cake.! There are a lot of delicious Asian restaurants in Brighton. Pho Brighton is one of them. You can eat tasty Vietnamese cuisine here. First I recommend Goi cuon, cold spring roll wrapped with rice paper. Pho is very famous as traditional Vietnamese food but I ate vermicelli noodles those time. They were served in large portions. I should have ordered pho though it's taste was not bad. Staffs are nice and the atmosphere is good.

With regular check backs and not just because they had to but because they genuinely cared.I had never tried Vietnamese food and they were teaching me the best way to eat it and offering recommendations. Book and go now! WHAT A FIND. We stumbled across this little piece of Vietnamese heaven by accident early in the evening and I was surprised to be asked if we had booked as there were plenty of tables. It turns out we just beat the rush with a full house by 7pm. We only popped in for a quick bite and ended up ordering starters and mains to share. The pork balls were delicious: meaty, a sliver of batter and full of flavour with a sublime dip. The squid was unlike anything I had eaten before, lighter than calamari and crunchier than fried squid with the sour sauce a perfect accompaniment. For mains (portions are big) we had soups: the 'Green' and 'Crab broth with tofu and beef'. Again, because of the hours of preparation and increase in collagen they were far more earthy and robust than the normal thai coconut soups and more refined than the British tradition of adding potato/corn flour. Service was tight for a busy night and the cocktails strong. My only criticism? The tables just seemed a bit grubby, easily fixed I hope for your visit. £49 ex tip for 2 courses & 2 cocktails - well worth it.

This is my favourite restaurant and branch in the entire world, I’ve been eating here for a few years and absolutely love the Vietnamese flavours. Plus side all the chicken is halal!! Great open area to dine especially in the summer, staff are always friendly and helpful and the best bit the food is always amazing. I tend to get my favourite dishes every time I go, baby calamari, summer prawn roll or the chicken wings to start, spicy chicken and prawn noodle soup for main (with extra pak Choi and chilli oil) and then the green tea ice cream and chocolate slab for dessert accompanied with the Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk. The fresh juices are divine! I’ve tried other things on the menu which are just as yummy but my usual is the best ❤️😍

I love this place for noodles yummm I go here often when I'm in Brighton. Definitely one of my favourite places. I love getting chicken wings for startes, they are amazing! Crispy and delicious. For mains I always get spicy brisk beef noodles (it's not really too spicy, unless you add all the peppers it comes with) and beer Lao (rice beer). My friend got the prawn noodles pho. This place is great, I love it!

The good thing about Pho is that they cook to a formula so it doesn't matter if cooks come and go. A lot of restaurants in Brighton are a bit 'feast or famine' of York excuse the expression. They have a great chef, who then leaves and everything goes downhill. Pho, however is consistent. It does get a bit dull after a while but that's the price you pay for consistency.

This place continues to astound me. All the staff are incredibly friendly, well trained, and thoughtful. The bartender chap on the shorter side is an absolute delight and we have yet to have an inattentive server. We’ve been in a handful of times and the servers and staff remember us and ask us how we’ve been. The curly haired host fella just brought me a drink whilst I wait for my takeaway order. Just absolutely perfect service every time. And then there’s the food. You would think for such a large chain there’d be some compromise on attention to detail but I swear every bowl and every meal I’ve had here has been consistently fresh and delicious. The chefs really know what they’re doing and are able to handle the large turnover that this place produces because of its popularity. I am also incredibly impressed in their attention to allergens and nutritional information. I’m currently on a specific diet for a sporting competition and having all the macronutrients listed online means I tend to visit more frequently on my weight cuts- delicious and nutritious! Anyways I’ve sang their praises enough. Just go and try them, you won’t be disappointed.

It's good for a decent meal, but it's nothing special and certainly not the best on offer. Of the meal I found the best was the pork spring roll starter. The chicken wings were tasty, but heavily salted, I do like things on the salty side, but this was a lot even for me. I also had the tofu and mushroom hot and spicy Pho, the tofu was puffed and a good texture but the broth didn't pack any kind of punch, it was fine, but certainly not full of flavour. I personally just think you can pay less and better quality and more flavourful Pho elsewhere.

Lovely food, they allow dogs inside 🐶 which is a bonus. The only note that I would keep an eye on the bill. A tip of 12% is automatically added into your bill. This is charged automatically when you pay which isn’t really transparent and should be made more clear that it’s up to the customer to give tip and how much that should be.

Good food and great place. But about 15% of tips was automatically added to my bill. I realized it after returning home. I usually trust staffs and pay the bills they ask for, but I think this behaviour is dishonest. I hope I can choose the amount of tip.

We are fans of Pho but disappointed on this occasion. First issue was the booking. Online system said fully booked but booking taken with an email saying we would be contacted. We weren't and when we called were told there was plenty of space. Second issue was very small portion for the salad and lack of much nutrition. Great. Extra hot beef brisket pho was delicious, very spicy but appeasing. Broth was heavy on chili oil but still felt light. Plenty of veg and coriander and beansprouts with the pho as well as lime for a sour tinge. Chili flakes added to the heat, crushed chili seeds fueled it further. Beef was scarce and mediocre in flavour. Noodles were light and creamy. Overall a great meal, although it doesn’t even compare to real Vietnamese Pho. Would come again.

I visited with my 8 year old daughter for the first time. The restaurant was very busy (lunchtime) and quite noisy however the food was superb. My daughter used her chopsticks, and loved the noodles we did order tofu but she got spring rolls instead but it was very enjoyable. She said best meal ever and is trying to recreate this dish at home! I ordered noodles with tofu and mushroom, really good and big portions great value, and a house cocktail. The service was a little slow but it was Pride weekend so very hectic. We will definately return!

Great fresh fast tasty and cheap food. Very very busy with students on a mud week night. Service was fast and food arrived quickly . Very fresh ingredients. The cheapest Vietnamese beer was very tasty. The spring rolls came with large bowls of peanut dipping sauce and light chili sauce . Not the tiny ones you get in a restaurant chain ! The quality shone through. The meat was nicely marinated in the rice bowl. There was a choice of four more sauces on each table. I tried the chili and onion clear sauce and it was a great lift to the rice. If I had one tiny complaint it was the duhr...duhrh...duhrh...boring bass beat of the house (?) Music for part of the evening but then again my student years are long behind me .

Excellent services, very good if you’re with someone in a wheelchair or with mobility issues. Also able to explain whether dishes were gluten free and no dairy used in any of the mains. Even told us a new chef had messed up and contaminated all the starters as well as explaining how some food could be cross contaminated, which allowed for peace of mind. However the range of food was a bit disappointing, if you like chain food then it will be ideal for you but we were hoping for something a bit more adventurous, found the price a bit steep for what it was and the whole experience rushed, the starters and mains arrived at the same time meaning we had to eat both quickly to avoid it going cold

A bit disappointing to be honest given some good reviews here. The service was a bit lacklustre, the drinks were expensive for what they were and not particularly impressive and the food (one noodle dish, one rice dish) uninspiring. Plenty of other far more impressive food options in town.

Food was flavorsome yet a bit too oily. Usually when I go to Pho I get one of the soups, as they are absolutely incredible. At this place I tried one of the wok dishes and it did not disappoint in regard to freshness, preparation time, taste and flavor. However, to my taste it was a bit too greasy/oily. By the time I finished the dish the taste of the oil was more dominant than the other flavors. As in other branches too, customer service at this location is impeccable. As I am allergic to gluten, dairy and walnuts I highly appreciate their effort to explain the menu (without having to ask for it) and making sure all precautions are being taken. While most of the staff was lovely, the main server was very abrupt and impatient throughout our meal. It's my third time here and we came for a different Mother's Day meal. Wish we hadn't bothered. Even my wife didn't like it. We had the same waitress as last time and she was excellent, but we also had to deal with the same guy as last time and he seriously needs some training in customer service and I'd keep him away from customers until he has.

I've visited twice now and not been let down! I've been on holiday to Vietnam, and after returning to the UK I had been searching for some authentic Pho. This place satisfied that urge. The Pho from this restaurant is convincing and tasted quite authentic, it definitely wasn't a poor imitation and tasted great. Great for a spicy food lover. Portions are big so turn up hungry. It's usually pretty busy, if you don't want to wait, give then a call and book a table. I don't like the stool seating because I have a baby and it makes it awkward but there's options for booths too. It's warm and inviting and perfect for a rainy day lunch out. You can order you food however you like so very customizable and if you are out with a vegetarian, they are super accommodating. Kids are welcome, it can be noisy but lively, not really romantic but fun and entertaining. Go if you have a hankering for some hot spicy food.

We had some great starters then ordered a traditional broth and a sider order of morning glory (Do try, it's amazing) my hubby doesn't like hot spicy food so this is ideal as you can add items to your taste. We were full but not feeling stuffed so we had a peek at the desert menu. Hubby had fab honey and ginger ice cream and i had banana fritter with coconut ice cream, divine. You can book your tables but usually you can just walk in. It's a big restaurant with a lot of sittings. The pho and bun are both delicious options, and I love how customizable the whole thing is-I personally love mine with lots of fish sauce, srichacha, and the sweet brown one (whose name I can't recall!). Things I love - The Spicy & Sour Pho soups are simply incredible - try the veggie stock base for a deeper and earthier flavour, and the meat stock for more tang - The Tofu! Good god the tofu... like nothing else I have ever eaten. Especially good in soups - The soups are customisable using herbs, chillies and lime, and the sauces available on tables - The salads are delicious and utilise a variety of textures, they are all great but the Goi Ga (chicken salad) is definitely the one to try - Everything is made using top quality ingredients and is incredibly nutritious, and you can really tell - You can leave the restaurant stuffed but feeling fantastic, no grogginess or feelings of guilt - Service is incredibly fast - A number of different seating options - can have a relaxed lunch by the windows, there are booths for family meals or larger groups, and intimate 2 person tables for dates - Vibrant atmosphere when busy, very tranquil and easy going when not - Staff are very helpful and friendly - The takeaway service doesn't degrade the quality of the food. There has been many a hungover afternoon where i've collected my order and crawled home to devour my salad & soup in peace and quiet Things I don't love - Drinks are on the pricey side, especially wine - the menu is very compact indeed, and having tried every dish available I can honestly say the Starters, Salads and Spicy & Sour Soups (not so much the regular soups) are the stars of the show, the rest of the menu is a little bland in my opinion, leaving me with not many options Having said that this is the best restaurant I have been to in Brighton, pound for pound. Truly delicious food

I approached this restaurant with a measure of trepidation because it is part of a chain; I was expecting a dumbed down version of Vietnamese food tailored to British tastes. Instead what I got was as authentic as I could remember from Vietnam.
