Popped in here a few weeks ago and was really impressed. It's a lovely example of a good local butchers and their support of the local community is applaudable. Picked up the best Cumberland sausages I've ever eaten so that was a huge win. Lovely people, lovely shop, would highly recommend

Absolutely great butchers. Quality meats and pies. My son loves the sausages and my dog loves the bone I often get too. Very friendly, Stuart and partner take time with their customers, offer advise and also take time out of their day to talk. I will be going to this butcher for years to come.

Quality meat and helpful owners. They sell a variety of different delicious cuts and the meat is of great quality! I'm Danish, so I'm used to other cuts than the English and they are always very helpful and manage to understand my description of what kind of cut I'd like. I have been using this place quite a few times whilst I lived in Filton and also since moving - great friendly staff and a family business in under the flats called Church View and near a bakery, opticians, post office and bank! Great value and also like the fact that they do pies for one (all sorts of varieties)cottage pies/ porkpies and all made on the premises and useful to keep in the freezer for emergencies - keep asking for the scotch eggs They do hot lunches as well which vary on a daily basis and look delicious and great if you are at one of the big employers and do not want to use the canteen They have a shop in Westbury park too

Grew up in Filton, Gales butchers on Filton Avenue was our local Butchers. Great service then and still great service today. Excellent range of meat, poultry, cold meats, pies and pasties. Also wide range of vegetables and fruit, and condiments.
