Today we picked up our first family chickens . After researching and learning we decided to make the trip over to jc chickens. Advised to bring a suitable cardboard box that we pre cut holes in and lay with straw. Brilliant friendly and informative. Helped us pick out some chickens suitable for first timers with young children. Advised us against the more fiesty breeds and even offered to clip them for us. The shop had a provisional offering of needed essentials and we where able to purchase with both card and cash. A very pleasant experience and the children loved seeing the animals. We will be back to expand our chicken family! Thank you 😊

I bought 3 chickens to add to my existing flock. Devon bronze Golden speckled Light Sussex I have to say they are the most healthy and friendliest chickens I have ever bought, and will certainly be buying from this supplier again

We purchased four point of lay chickens to go with our own hatchlings. The price was comparable to other suppliers in the South West, but their proximity to Bristol makes JC Chickens the obvious choice if you live in town. The lady owner was great, she happily explained the attributes of different breeds to my children so that they could make an informed choice (though you can pre-read this on the website before you go). She even picked out and caught a specific bird of our chosen breed, which pleased my 7yr old who had chosen the one hiding at the back of the shed!

Really great place. A large selection of chicken. Chicken food and accessories are sturdy and a good price. I would also highly recommend them for boarding your chickens. They have had mine twice now and the chickens are always well looked after!! Would recommend.
