Best fillet steak. Bought 2 yesterday fresh cut for our date night. Cut like a knife through hot butter, so tender and full of flavour. It was so good that we went back again today to buy 3 more to make tonight for our friend. Also got our Christmas meat (beef and pigs in blankets) from them last Christmas and it was amazing. My family have been going here to buy meat for years and when we moved round the corner we decided to do the same. Best decision ever. Bloke who runs the place is absolutely lovely and so friendly. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Proper butcher shop, with good deals, great cuts of meat, best sausages. They're really helpful, friendly and will cut the meat any way you need. I discovered beef ribs there and they are awesome. If you like burgers, buy the big ones, they are the best burgers in the galaxy.....nay the universe.....no arguments 👍🙂

Rang up to see if they sold chicken thighs (without having to buy drumsticks too). Very polite on the phone and in person. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere whilst respecting current guidance. Forgot how much I like this butchers - both the customer service and their produce.

These guys have a great range. I went for osso bucco (only butchers locally with stock), but came out with some tasty homemade lamb and mint sausages, hogs pudding, and a nice chunk of beef short rib. Seems like they're doing their job - helping me part with money I wasn't going to spend, and I'm very happy about it.

MIKE WHO RUNS the shop really knows his stuff and seems to know all his customers. We have been buying our meat there for years and never had a bad bit. I would recommend it to anyone.

Went to get some meat from this place due to it being unavailable in supermarkets. I was positively surprised with the prices, they were nearly the same or cheaper comparing to a supermarket. Got some sirloin steaks and chicken breasts, they tasted completely different to the ones you can get in a supermarket, far better quality. Will be coming back here to get more meat. Thanks

The thing that grabs you first is the FRIENDLINESS (YES - this is a friendly butcher!) and then you look at the choice! They have such a fantastic range of meats and I like to buy from their massive range of domestic and international game. This is meat that has had a perfect wild existence, so it’s even ecological, as well as cruelty-free! I could try to list all of their counter produce but seeing is believing. You just don’t see this range and quality anywhere else. They even do mixes for stir-fries and their marinated meats are very addictive! Did someone say “sausages”? Well I’ll tell you - my favs are their handmade Toulouse… OMG! I could live in them! By far and a long way the best of British and the best butcher in Bristol.

The place has amazing food which is varied and well priced. However, we just bought some food there and they gave us less than what we paid for. Bit of an annoyance as we don't live close by but that's just something to consider when you go there.
