Amazing service and quality. Have been shopping for more than a year and we always get high quality meat. Fresh, nice juicy beef, steaks and pork. Always the best quality. And the deli is a delight! Must try the sausage rolls.

If there is a better, friendlier, local butcher in the country, they must be something else. Because the BB is utterly fantastic. The pies are awesome, and the rump steaks, (comparable in price to the supermarkets btw), are just a dream. Thanks during lock down for scratching my recovering partners steak itch. Mark.

These guys have proved a godsend over the lockdown periods. Back in March, from nowhere, they started a website so we could order their excellent produce for delivery. It wasn't perfect, but they were up and running so fast and it worked so congratulations for that! Seems someone called Rachel handles their orders and she's so polite and helpful. When you consider the stress they all must be under, their whole operation is very impressive. Big thanks to a business that helps the local community in these difficult times.

The butchers block is a gem in portishead, the quality of meet is second to none. The weekly meet packs are such a brilliant idea. On the deli side, all the food is fresh, with always a large variety to keep me coming back on a daily basis. Whether I want hot or cold food. The staff are really friendly which adds to the great customer experience . I always recommend everyone to visit and people thank me afterwards for the recommendation. This is the best butcher I've ever been to. We've try to avoid buying supermarket meat and buy from here instead as the quality is far superior. Not even Waitrose comes close. Even the haggis is decent.
