The usual excellent selection of local produce (Criterion ice cream!) and friendly, well-informed service!
N. B. b.Lovely old charm of a building from another time and era.. these places should be listed i got a pint of milk here today in a glass bottle. and some Tiptree marmalade..This is olde England.
K. R.Has the most amazing selection of meats, home cooked dishes , I will travel from Dunmow to get the best ribs of beef around . Excellent staff who really know their knowledge of meats and how to cook them with the best results.

I use them regularly and they do outside catering. Just last month they did a fantastic bbq for a club I'm involved in. 50 people, smooth as clockwork, everyone said how great they were, and the food was fantastic.
P.A small traditional butchers shop with a very large selection of produce. I only got a few bits here including a game pie and a steak and kidney pie. Which once cooked and put on my plate didn't last very long, very much enjoyed them.
