Rump steak, fillet steak and a whole chicken, all of them were absolutely delicious. Counter has a lot of tempting meats on display, will be back, support local! Very very noticeable from supermarket meats!

Real old fashioned butcher. Really helpful with advice re cuts and always happy to recommend different meats. Superb sirloin steak, fresh and tasty , unlike what you get in supermarkets. Nothing to add really ...still maintaining their excellent services and products. Was there today mid June for gala pie and chicken and ham pies.Pork chops, sirloin steak, barnsley lamb chops. They also sell eggs. Not open Mondays . Was there today. Early Sept. Usual high standard. Best butcher in Colchester and possibly Essex?

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me and if I could provide more stars, I would not hesitate.. Steve and the crew at Perins Butchers are absolutely ACE; they have a team of friendly & knowledgable staff. Always extremely helpful; the meats, cheese and condiments are set at a very reasonable price. I'd recomend the minted lamb kofta and chicken breasts!! A must go to..... Danny (The Army DJ)

Lovely meat and people. Always willing to help and if you are very good Steve will even vacuum pack on the odd occasion. Chinese pork yummy steak out of this world Pork sooooo tender. Bacon joint well...... Never had a bad piece of meat. Sells luvly cheese eggs and Very nice pork pies

Great butchers, friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help. I'd recomend the minted lamb, the breakfast bangers, brisket and most of all the ribeye steak. They also have an array of sauces dips and condiments.
