Knowledgeable, professional friendly craft meat cutters. They have a good selection of game. Also, senses of humour, which makes a visit enjoyable. People should eat what they want. I'll eat my vegetables, but they take a backseat to the meat.

I also live far away from Christies butcher but try my best to get there at least once a month. Absolutely everything is top quality, I highly recommend their home made snags, chilli and maple - SUPERB! The guys are always so lovely, plenty banter and laughs every time I'm there.

I live a long way from this excellent looking Butchery, if I lived closer I would use it every week. I enjoy a good ribeye joint,lamb chops and the odd chicken,(I don't mean one with 2 heads and 3 legs), oh no, I've cracked a joke, that's me for it now. Keep up the hard work lads and crack on with the sense of humour ,young or old, we are all allowed are beliefs.

I'm miles away on the far side of Canada but I love your chalkboard ( and yes I was vegetarian for 7 years!). Amazed by the seeming hysteria. I look forward to the day I can walk into your shop and buy filet mignon.Maybe just salt, pepper and lemon juice, no cooking!!!

Bought steaks for me and my boyfriend at the weekend. The butchers were friendly and chatty and happy to cut selected cuts of meat (fillet for me and sirloin for my boyfriend). The butcher didn't ask what size I'd like the steaks but to be honest I was happy with the portion sizes. I was expecting to pay quite a bit but for the quality of the meat I was happy to pay approx £20.00 for the two cuts. Both were delicious. My fillet could have been cut with a tablespoon! Gorgeous!

Never normally go to a butcher but tried it and this place is great. The two guys are friendly and we’ve been impressed by almost everything we’ve tried; organic chicken, maple & chilli sausages, haggis, pies..

Great family butchers. Bob and Angus really know what they're doing and can get hold of pretty much anything. Shopping here is a pleasure - a very warm welcome and great tasting meat, of course.

Just had first "real" haggis from Christie's, after only having eaten the supermarket kind -- a completely different experience (and priced accordingly, lol)! Also pleased that they were able to provide plenty of freshly butchered bones for hearty beef stock.

Excellent butchers. Provide great advice on preparing meat. Been at the game since they were wee so really know their stuff. Their rump steaks and sausages put Tesco’s and the like to shame!

I bought haggis here for 2013 Burn's night. The haggis was excellent! I was actually cooking for a large amount of people and had bought a massive 8 man haggis, when I realised I couldn't fit it in any of my dishes though, the Butcher was happy to swap it back for two equivalent smaller sized ones. I have also bought game here before, there is a decent selection: partridge, pheasant etc. I bought a pack of pigeon breasts that worked out at under £1 per piece, not bad value at all.
