P.Had my first delivery today from this butcher. I am eating the individual steak pie and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted! The pastry is delicious and the steak is melt in your mouth stuff! I’m so tired of ordering stuff from supermarkets and finding the meat is off etc or tough as old boots! This is quality. The chicken I ordered is a good size chicken and I put it straight in the oven and it’s turned out beautiful. Couldn’t resist nibbling bits of the crispy skin and the wings hahaha. It’s just about cooled down ready for the fridge. This year I decided to buy silverside for my Christmas dinner. It looks lovely! Of course it went straight in the freezer. I’m looking forward to enjoying it with plenty of gravy and all the trimmings. I will definitely be ordering again. This has made my day! It can be difficult to find a good British butcher. The delivery driver was lovely! She got a little lost because it’s a new build. I was fast asleep when she called me and it was her son who came to the door with my order. Charming young man he is! Nice to see him helping his mum. Felt a tad embarrassed because I was just awake and a bit bedraggled lol

This was already a great butchers but the choices now available in store is brilliant. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. One of them remembered a conversation we had about a stew I was making and asked me how it went. I’m pretty fussy with my cuts of steak and no matter how busy they are they always take the time to understand what I’m looking for and deliver every time. I have recommended this shop to many people and will continue to do so. They don’t win awards for their steak pies for nothing. Also get involved in the breakfast pies unreal. L. K.Best butchers!! I travel from Ayrshire for my orders and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Can’t beat the steak pies. The raw beef ham, steaks and ham ribs are just some of my favourites from the shop.
Shop is immaculate and the staff are always very friendly and serve with a smile and good banter even when rushed off their feet.
