W. J.We’ve just spent the week staying near Bala and went to The Bryntirion pub for dinner last night. I had a Welsh Black beef stew and when I mentioned Welsh Black was my favourite, the landlady recommended TJ Roberts & Son. So we duly paid a visit this morning on the way home. What a magnificent shop and the butcher I spoke to seemed proud to stock and sell such fine cuts as Welsh Black. A very pleasant and friendly man. I bought 3 sirloin steaks for dinner tonight and we’ve just eaten them, cooked medium rare, with new potatoes and lovely fresh vegetables from the garden. I want to say thank you from us all for one of the best, if not The best sirloins I’ve ever eaten. So tender and tasty and a joy to cook. Dinner certainly rounded off what has been a lovely week in wonderful North Wales. Now to try the delicious looking pork pies the landlady recommended. Keep doing what you’re doing Mr Roberts. I only wish I lived nearer!
R. C.There are cutters as opposed to butchers and Master Butchers as opposed to butchers. T J Roberts are without doubt Master Butchers. They enjoy a far flung reputation for quality meat game and poultry, all carefully sourced.

R. M.Dropped in for some decent meat during a camping holiday. Clearly very popular with the locals/regulars and the meat was local and excellent. They offer game etc to order. Good selection of BBQ ready meats as well as bigger cuts, olives and cheese and a small selection of fruit, vegetables local yoghurt and milk. Cheerful butchers. Superb stuff.

M.This is the best butchers for quality produce there meat is fantastic along with customer service and tasty pork pies especialy the stilton ones are to die for.
The staff are so accommodating the delivery is free to your door every wednesday in cerrigydrudion what more could we ask for .
On top of all this they give you points off what you spend to give you free meat once you have collected enough so choose your free gift saving up for meat hampers ect .
We have been buying from this butchers for years whist holidaying in bala but now came to live local and was thrilled they do deliverys it made our relocation complete.
