A. T.So wonderful to see the butchers open again on the island. Been coming for nearly 50 yrs so to have a place to pick up an exceptionally good steak pie or bits for a hearty breakfast was just super! The tattie scones are Archibald’s too! I remember them as the best when I was wee! Also they serve freshly made pastries (croissant, cinnamon swirls, pecan plaits etc.) which are fab. I hope they do really well and that visitors and residents support this historic institution taken on by this lovely young couple 🙌
S. B.Had a lovely day on Cumbrae during our few days stay in Largs this week. Called in the butchers in lovely Millport as they were closing at 3pm. Had a warm steak pie. It was first class, full of lovely steak and gravy and sat eating it in the garden by the museum. Also brought some home to Derbyshire . Excellent pies , top class, worth the trip over just for these!!
Just had another one, can't wait to go back to the island when we'll stock up with some more!!

Brilliant steak pie, square sliced sausages delicious and was lovely to be able to buy Cumbrae Pasties again👌which we always bought on our holidays when the Camerons were there.

S.My wife and I had a wee day trip Millport with our 2 kids when we happened to stumble across this wee butchers, so glad we did, the individual steak pie and the individual steak and black pudding pie was out of this world. I want to go back to Millport just for a steak pie. 5 star all day long. the service was 2nd to none as well 👍 …
