Reviews of Over Farm
L. S.
Been here a few times now twice for Halloween and once at Christmas time. Staff are always very welcoming, the children love seeing the animals and having a good walk around the ground. Christmas event toasting marshmallows was thought out with great care and attention. They provide very very long skewers (nearly a meter I'd say) so that children can hold them safely at arms length while still being a good distance from the fire pit and the hot chocolate is devine! 100% will be coming back next year. Thank you also to the owner who took the time to talk with our children about the wildlife she routinely sees whilst working, such as the different types of birds. This really captivated my 7 year old who now even a few days later is still talking about the nice lady from the farm. 👍

Beautiful little farm shop - great selection of pumpkins! I was, however, really hoping I could get some chestnuts as well!
The pumpkin patch was closed.
E. G.
Wonderful cafe. As well as an amazing choice of local produce in the market, there is a lovely cafe at the back of the market. Can high recommend the vegetarian breakfast. And if you're there on a Friday Pippins doughnuts are available.
L. D.
New cafe is lovely. Great food, swift service and friendly staff. The shop stocks a wide range of products. Thoroughly recommend.
H. B.
Great to have a local farm shop. Plenty of choice of meat, veg, cheese and deli treats. A bit pricier than the supermarket, but I'm happy to support local and reduce food miles! Also a small selection of gifts. Friendly, helpful staff.
S. C.
Always go there for our coleslaw, like the rest of the food more expensive than what you get in a supermarket, but the quality is far superior. Good selection of veg, meet and deli counter amongst other things

Had a fab day at Over Farm following the winter trail . Saw the lovely animals and even fed some with the special food from the shop. The goats were very friendly and it was interesting to see all the hibernation homes of the various animals. All finished off with hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows around a personal fire pit , there were loads of pits for all the families visiting and were spaced apart . Very Covid safe would definitely recommend a visit
R. C.
Always a lovely day out at over farm. Plenty to do, the shop with local produce is great and the park farm is great! The seasonal events are also fun!
J. H.
Had a great time at the farm picking sunflowers and strawberries. Topped off by a visit to the farm shop and choosing some delightful dessert items.
T. H.
Love this farm shop! I travel from Sussex to Hereford to visit family, & this is my favourite place on each journey to stock up with delicious food for family & friends!
The staff are always friendly & helpful! The choice of available produce is phenomenal! Highly recommend!
M. A.
Went with my young family for their half term Halloween event. Was great fun, lots to do, great value. Enjoyed eating some of the farm produce as lunch. Staff were all really pleasant despite some terrible weather.
Will definitely return for their Christmas, Easter or summer events!
Would recommend to a friend!
L. P.
Great fun day out with grandchildren but just queues for food and drink were ridiculous even when coffee was ordered it took another 30 mins or so for them to make it. Would have been better with an urn making instant than posh coffee if staff were that short.
C. K.
Over Farm catered for our wedding in the summer and they were brilliant. We were able to meet with Josh and chat through everything we wanted for the day and it was just all really well organised. The food was really good and we were able to have the relaxed big family BBQ style that we wanted. The team on the day were all really helpful and friendly too. Thanks all!
J. E.
What a great day, so much to do! The Circus show was WOW!! and having the maps, questions, tractor rides, games and quad train kept the kids very happy and focused! We were there for a good 4 hours and no whinging, good going for 4 and 8 year old boys. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Over Farm 😀
s. b.
Fantastic farm shop. Great produce And quality and easily accessible.
J. M.
We had a fab day, my grandchildren loved the bouncy pillows, pumpkin tractor ride and animals but the coffee and food service was unbelievably slow, no where near enough staff to cope on a Saturday, I waited over half an hour for coffee and packed lunches and missed much of watching them having fun. Outside caterers next time please!
D. R.
Great service, lovely farm store with amazing selection. Lots parking, coffee shop is at the back of the store.
V. B.
Such a great time here. Easily spend the entire day. Did the nature trail which was fun, quad train ride and a tractor ride! The animals are great and my 2 yr old loved feeding them! The pyo sunflowers and fruit is a great addition too. Enough to do for 9 7 and 2 yr old boys. Thank you the staff were lovely too.
R. B.
We visit regularly for all the seasonal events from the Easter farm trail to strawberry and sunflower picking to frightmare or even just now and again as nice meeting place for coffee. It just seems to get better and better here. It’s reasonably priced, marketed well, friendly and helpful staff and good for all ages. I recommend this place all the time to friends and family.
a. w.
Went sunflower picking yesterday and today with husband. The girl was so warm and welcoming and talked us through everything. The place is well maintained and very clean. Amazing prices. Will be coming again!
C. W.
Just been pumpkin picking for the first time and it was a really great experience!! The whole setup was very covid safe and staff were super friendly. Access is easy, toilets are clean and the little cafe isn't over priced.
All in all a lovely event which I will visit again
M. G.
We had an amazing time at the Spookyard at Over Farm. SUPER kid friendly with plenty of things to keep our little ones occupied. Also whomever decided to bring in the pizza truck is a genius because it was so quick to make which made a parents life so much easier (nothing is worse than a complaining hungry 2 year old!)
M. F.
My family loves this farm. We will always find what we need there. Nice service. Affordable prices. We recommend.
B. F.
We took 3 girls aged 7, 8 and 11 and they enjoyed the visit, especially the bouncy pillows, the slides and the animals. They did not like the WOW show. Personally I think it was a bit overpriced, especially as a number of attractions were not available- the quad train and the tennis ball cannons.
C. G.
What a lovely place. Excellent fresh produce. From cheese, homemade scotch eggs, quiches, pies, vegetables, salad, as well as an excellent butchers (I can personally vouch for lamb chops, beef shin and streaky bacon), local wines, alcohol, pickles, relishes, bread, eggs! ( hen, duck AND even ostrich!). It really is a great shop. I live 2 hours away and stumbled on it 2 years ago and recently, coming back off holiday, went 30 minutes out of my way to go back and visit again.
S. N.
Fantastic place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Lovely toasties and friendly service. We are only sad that we didn't have space in the boot for some of the cute stone garden statues. Next time!
C. B.
This is THE place in Gloucester to go for Pumpkin Picking.
Perfect afternoon out - rain or shine!
It's all well thought of and planned out, great atmosphere and great arrangements for pictures.
Great selection of hot food and drinks, ideal after a walk around the field in the fresh air wheeling heavy pumpkins!
The staff are incredibly helpful and so genuinely friendly. I took my four month old baby in his pram and was unsure how it would be walking around after all the rain we had the day before, the staff were so knowledgeable though and assured us that the pram would be fine to push around the field. Will absolutely be making it a family tradition.
r.
Superb for the little ones and big ones. Great value! £3 entry. Loved the goat feeding station!
K. B.
I called in here on route home from a family holiday. we had lovely food a drink in the cafe the staff was very friendly and helpful. they have a really good farm shop too😄
S. P.
First visit to pumpkin patch and it was great fun...only quibble I have is that charging over 3 year olds same price as adult I thought was unfair as our party consisted of 2 x under 3 years old and 1 over 3 years old and she got no different to the other two...so pretty expensive day out ....I would personally like to see children and adult prices reduced. Also it was mainly cash only to buy food luckily one of us out of three adults had cash to buy lunch. Regardless we had a Good time.
B. P.
Great day with two of my grandchildren (5 & 4 years). To say they loved their day is a understatement. Great for running energy off around the trail, bouncy cushions etc. They loved the quad bike & tractor and got hands on with the reptiles 😬. “Can we go again next week Grannie”
A. A.
Went to the pick you own pumpkins yesterday, and the kids loved it really well set out, only issue was that when we walked across to the farm shop we found the pumpkins were cheaper than the pick your own considering you pay for your pumpkin on top of the entry ticket to the field, would of been nice to see them at least at the same price as the farm shop if not slightly cheaper.
C. C.
Fantastic pick your own farm. Lovely juicy strawberries and raspberries.
Free parking with picnic tables outside. As you walk through there is a charge per person and then an additional charge for kilo for the the fruit.
R. B.
Great day out at spookyard. We arrived at 10.30 and left at 3pm. Lots of fun things for the kids to do including bouncy pillows, train rides, corn cannon, animals to feed, a spooky walk. Only downside was the food and drink. Huge queues around lunchtime so really think they could do with having a quicker option of maybe ready made food to grab and go.
Coffee box had a massive queue most of the day so waited until it calmed down then realised the reason for the huge queue was simply that staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Refused to pay £2.75 for a tea so had a hot chocolate that was lukewarm at best, got charged for cream and marshmallows which I didn’t want but said as I had been charged I’d have it to be told there was no cream?!?
Had a burger which was fine, husband had a hotdog which contained a cremated sausage… was a shame the food and drink really let it down.
The live shows were fun also but they do repeat the morning show in the afternoon so you may end up watching the same one twice!!
Check in was fast and efficient and the staff on the whole were very pleasant.
Would return again but I’d take my own food and drink with me next time!!
A. W.
Went to the Spookyard with my 4 & 11 year old daughters. We had a wonderful day, plenty to do there, lots of simple fun which was refreshing. We enjoyed the shows which made it so much more enjoyable & worth the money. Well organised overall.
The only downside was the overpriced food! I expect to pay a little extra on a day out of course but for a family friendly event they could have been a little better priced.
The trail & little prize at the end was a cute touch too.
Would recommend.
M. P.
Pick your own strawberries and a lovely farm shop. Cafe there too but we didn't try, nice menu with vegan and gluten free options.
K. B.
We never have a bad experience here. Great events and great produce. Wonderful staff and consistent amazing customer service.
Highly recommend.
J. P.
The yield wasn't fantastic (I think because others before us had already filled large buckets - I saw one man with two buckets of strawberries). However the kids had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the hunt, and went round over farm to see the unusual animals, so it was worth the day out. (Ps entry round back of shop)
J. W.
Having just popped in whilst we were doing that way the farm shop was a delight to visit. You're welcome by friendly staff and then greeted by a lovely selection of local produce as you enter. We found ourselves spoilt for choice and lovely to see so many local items being sold. Of course I couldn't help buying a lovely handmade, wooden pestle and mortar which I'm happy to say sits proudly in our kitchen. Food is lovely, drinks are too and the place just feels lovely to visit. 100% drop in if you're nearby or passing through as you won't regret it. Well done to all.
d. s.
Fantastic night!! Amazing actors and attractions! Even bigger and better this year outdoes itself every year we come most years and always enjoy!!
K. M.
They have a great range of activities all year round, as well as a fantastic shop.
The Halloween event they do is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't.
The shop is also great with a wide variety of organic products, love this place!
D. S.
Great selection of quality produce. They're maintaining social distancing and managing number I to the shop, which is great to see. Lots of parking.
J. T.
A lovely day out with my children (5 and 2 years old) and they loved picking their own fruit!
The staff were friendly and very informative of where to find the best fruit! We were advised to have strawberries in one punnet and raspberries/blackberries in another for weighing at the end.
The raspberries were a bit sparse when we went picking (the raspberry rows seemed over grown and you had to move the branches that were overhanging the pathway.
We have never seen blackberries of that size before!
We paid £2 per person to enter and ended up with over £13 of fruit by the end! Absolutely wonderful day out and we ended up making a lovely fruit crumble with our pickings.
H. D.
Had a lovely afternoon with nephew and niece at the spookyard. 9 hole footgolf, corm cannon, scarecrow hunt, tractor and trailer rides, great entertainment shows for little ones. Brilliant
A. Z.
This our second year at spookyard Absolutely amazing day. Kids loved it, food was awesome and super friendly staff. Be back again definitely!!!
K. W.
I really like this place it's nice to walk around and see the animals and the bouncy castles are good fun for my 4 year old. The farm shop is nice too. I only take 1 star away for the portaloos. I really think they could build some permanent toilets that just puts me off abit.
K. R.
Wonderful day out with my 5 year old grandson. Expected to stay an hour, stayed 4 - had to go to the farm shop to buy lunch as we didn't get round everything in time.
Only disappointment was the reptiles show. There were lots of children at the show, certainly more than 50. The host tried to ensure that every child stroked every animal, which took a very long time, my grandson got bored and restless, so we left after only 2 animals out of the cage, as did about half the audience. Would have been better to show all the animals first, with stroking at the end for those who wished.
Apart from that minor problem, I would recommend the farm to anyone with young children.
m. T.
I popped in yesterday and loved it. The cafe staff were lovely and really care about what they do. The coffee was wonderful and the lemon drizzle cake was gorgeous.
This is a great place so I am dropping supermarkets from now on.
Over Farm go the extra mile so that’s me hooked.
L. W. S. F.
Super fresh, super safe, super shiny! No food miles so what more can you want. Look at today's tea. 😋 thanks Over Farm Market. I'll be back.
E. C.
Fabulous day, so much to do for the kids, loved the food. Service was great and the kids really loved it.
Thanks for a great day xx
J. T.
Great place, went pumpkin picking. Last year went to Open Air cinema! FAB. Extra polite staff!!! Lovely place xxxx
J. A.
Very nice, plenty of fresh vegetables and savouries. Even a coffee shop. What more do you want!
L. J.
Over Farm Halloween Trail is a wonderful wholesome family day out with an animal trail, tractor ride and family entertainment by the food.
A. B.
Frightmare was amazing! Also the farm shop is a great place to pick up pumpkins - they have so much variety and really decent prices.
K. N.
Highly recommend! My three year old and I visited the Spring Trail at Over Farm and had a lovely day. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were lucky with the weather so got to enjoy all the activities and see all the animals. A lovely day out. We now plan to visit more often.
K. H.
Not a very long trail but a good few hours out, staff were lovely. (Gift shop is very expensive)
T. R.
Lovely shop for fresh farm produce and a quick latte
h. h.
I took my children to Over Farm on a whim because it was close to where we live and kids were board. We hadn’t been for years and didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. It’s clear that they’ve really put a lot of effort in to making it a fun place for children and adults. There was plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained and plenty of areas for hand washing and toileting. The staff were all friendly, kind and helpful. We had a great day and will definitely be back soon.
R. S.
We had a lovely day at Over Farm trail today. Would highly recommend a visit. We spent nearly 5 hours walking around and only left after that time as we were hot and tired (even after ice cream!).
We didn't fill in the question sheet as the kids wanted to run around, but we all enjoyed the trail. The maize maze was a big hit, on the second run we managed to finish it in 7 minutes. And also enjoyed the tractor tyres filled with sand, this area could do with some shade though.
The extra entertainment was great (magician on Monday) and gave us chance to cool off in the shade. More benches in this area would be good as the floor is too dusty to sit on.
More things to do when we have been in previous years and I'm tempted to go again, as that way you get your third visit for free! Tractor ride, quad bike trailer, ring toss, Welly wanging, football golf, take a picnic and make a day of it.
A bonus is that you can fill up your water bottle at the kiosk, there is an outside tap! Oh and they have a dairy and gluten free ice cream cone in the shop, I was in heaven.
I do hope they can go ahead with the expansion plans soon.
S. F.
We had another lovely day at Over Farm family trail! The children loved every minute and Mr Wow was a great success. We plan to come again on one of the other days so we can see a different show. Thank you Over Farm!
A. W.
Bought a flight for my girlfriend for her birthday.
The price was insanely reasonable considering a helicopter ride of the same duration can cost 6 times as much.
According to her, the pilot was very talkative, knowledgeable and friendly, and she had an absolutely great time.
N. C.
Very nice shop! Loved the description of all the different pumpkins and how to prepare them best.
A.
This is the proper review. Over farm is a great farm to bring your young ones great for family visits. Great staff always helpful and very friendly my kids love all the events and trails over farm do and my girls love feeding the animals see you all again soon 😁😁
O. W.
We had a really great time, picking pumpkins. The staff are always lovely and helpful and it's always nice to visit the shop.
S. S.
Really nice place, came from Swindon as our local one was booked out, will definitely be coming again, burgers were nice from the van.
C. P.
Good stocks of most every thing to eat. Fantastic fruit and veg
R. P.
Had agreat day at over farm my daughter loved the tractor rides and the quad bike ride she was little scared and the guy that was driving the quad bike (I didn't get his name ) he was so kind and understanding that I knew my daughter was in safe hands he only did little ride as she wasn't sure and wanted to get out and that that was no problem for him so thank you for giving my daughter the opportunity to try new things.
I love how they added couple new things to the trail so to my daughter it was new trail, she had so much fun she didn't want to leave !
Will definitely be returning.
E. S.
I love this farm! It’s completely family orientated, it prides it’s self and the staff members on the customer experience and no matter the Season, the weather or the event they reinvent their product marvellously! I am a frequent returner and could not recommend it enough!!
A. M.
We spent the day with you yesterday with our 3 kids who all loved it. It was loads of fun and so creative and well organised. The tractor was fun babbers and we loved the reptile show. Definitely 5 stars 😊.
s. p.
The best farm shop in Gloucestershire I've been too! Loads of different fresh foods and frozen foods. If you like Tubby Tom's sauces and rubs, this is the place to come. Staff are always lovely, kind and helpful
A. L.
We enjoyed the PYO fruit. But the farm trail was such a waste considering the weather. We paid £78 for 4 adults and 5 kids, but got only a tractor ride for 10 mins which wasn’t worth the money unfortunately. Except for horses, we couldn’t see any other animal outside due to the heat and no other rides were available either
E. J.
A lovely afternoon out. We had two pushchairs with our 7 month olds who loved looking at the animals and playing on the bouncy pillows. There was also loads of activities for older children so I’m looking forward to returning when my little boy is walking!
K. D.
Lovely farm shop, friendly staff and delicious deli food!!!!
R. C.
Such a lovely time for all of us. My daughter uses a large pushchair due to disabilities and we found with a good effort we got round the trail. My boys loved the slide, the bouncing pillows and the fun fair as did I! The staff were so helpful, parking so well organised and plenty of alcohol gel and hand washing stations. So much to do for such a reasonable price.
M. S.
Another first visit. A really nice collection of local produce and stuff, snacks, cheese, butchers, fresh fruit and veg. Even a coffee shop at the back. Definitely going to visit again.
M. A.
Great choice of their own grown produce as well as products from small, local businesses. Deli section offers some very good foods made in house. Their scotch eggs are best in Gloucestershire. Staff always very friendly, helpful and smiling.
K. P. q.
We had the best time at the farm yesterday with my 2 year old son. Firstly the fab farm trail he absolutely loved seeing the animals and all the activities. Followed by lunch under the canopy which was such a relief as it was a very hot day. Little shop on the way out is lovely and not over priced at all!
We then went strawberry picking which again my 2 year old loved and finishing the day off in the farm shop and cafe picking up some merangue and cream and an iced coffee for the journey home. All the staff at over farm are super welcoming. We cannot wait to return. Thankyou
S. C.
A fun morning out going round the farm trail. Good idea having a map with questions to keep the kids involved & they loved the jumping pillows at the end (when it was finally their turn). I kind of expected to see more animals than we did. One suggestion would be to have some kind of wind break set up around some of the seating as, even though it was a nice day, it was really windy & we all got very cold sitting down for our picnic.
M. W.
Stopped for a cuppa, and look round Farm Shop. Lovely staff, lovely cafe! Bought some goods to take home. Have wanted to stop here many times when visiting Highnam House. Recommend a stop here
C. P.
It's the second time we went there and we loved it every second. This time we visited the animals
P. M.
Lovely fresh, local produce and friendly assistants
k.
Our second time doing the Spring trail as the children loved it so much. MR WOWS show was brilliant especially the giant bubbles!
Great facilities Covid safe limited amount of people well spaced out.
The bouncy pillows are so much fun at the end of the trail too.
O. R.
Went to the vintage fair. Was a fun outing, a bit expensive and the games were either impossible to win or pointlessly easy. The variety was good though. Would have been better if the staff were more upbeat and looked like they actually wanted to be there. The archery was the best game. The kids had fun so that's the important thing. Would like to go back again to see the animals and farm shop.
M.
Lovely produce, staff and animals are all well cared for.
J. H.
The best pumpkins around. Their farm shop is amazin too.
S. C.
Good selection of produce, the steaks are always fantastic. There's also a nice walk up behind the shop where you can see some of the animals and a van so you can get nice coffee.
R. L.
Really fantastic summer trail with good activities for children.
Treat filled farm shop.
Unfortunately, the one item letting over farm down is the food trailer. Over priced and poor quality food.
N. C.
We went this morning to see the snow and walk through the winter trail. We got a small bag of feed on the way in and the Ostriches loved it. The kids loved seeing the animals in the snow. They put on hot chocolate too and they also had individual fires pits for roasting marshmallows. All socially distanced and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We got some great photos in the snow. Get some great winter photos over there. We will be going back for sure.
K. H.
We collected our first veg box from over farm today as we’ve decided to buy only British and to help keep our farms and businesses going. I’ve only ever shopped at supermarkets and what a difference. Good sized, fresh veg at a good price. I’ll be back!
D. G.
Great produce. Good prices. Excellent value. Café onsite serves good food. Well worth a visit.
s. d.
Great day out - fun for all the family! Lots of fun things for everyone to do, well staffed and very clean. The bacon sarnie at the end was also delicious!
M. L.
We had a lovely time doing the farm trail. My son is a wheelchair user but because the website had such good information on it saying it wasn't good for wheelchairs we took his all terrain buggy. However I have been to places which say they are accessible and then found they weren’t. It was the opposite here... yes the path was uneven and there were the odd stony bits but I think we could have got his wheelchair round it... in dry weather not wet. We loved the animals, the questions, the activities. The staff were kind and helpful. We will be back.
M. L.
Wanted to call but always on wrong side of carriageway. Made a special trip. Plenty of parking but think the checkout should b next to coffee due to available items or your coffees get cold if takeout.
S. R.
We went to an open air cinema at over farm. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was good. There was social distancing between groups and ultimately a pleasant experience.
We have also gone to the strawberry picking at over farm. It was a great experience. The strawberries are good and it was a nice day out.
J. S.
This was a stop of for my family and I on our way to Gloucester for the weekend. We booked this in advance. I have to say although the price to enter was reasonable, the effort and quality of the activities was very poor.
It all appeared a little bit thrown together and not a great deal to do. Disappointing.
C. M.
Wonderful place, I think the best Deli in Gloucester, lots of choice, and really friendly staff. All of the staff were attentive and were smiling. Thank you.
K. L.
We had a lovely day at Over Farm, we did the Spring Family Trail which was really fun with the children's quiz and animals. The kids loved the slides and bouncy pillows and duck racing, really good value at £5.50 for Saturday fun! The only negative was the vintage fair was very expensive. It cost £4 for one slide down the helter skelter (we had to ride with our kids as they're little but have never been charged for the adult as well and certainly not just for one slide!)
H. B.
The best farm shop I know & we are lucky to live near.
L. W.
It was a lovely day for me and my daughter I think she might have stayed on the bouncy pillows all day! We had a lovely chat with a member of staff called Sophie (?) about the llamas and Mr wow was something I didn't know I needed as an adult! My three year old also loved his act ofcourse!
The only thing wrong was the works going on the work men were very rude and with the large trucks coming and going across the car park it was quite dangerous... This is not negativity towards Over farm at but if you can use my comments to liaise with the workers all good.
A. P. L.
Really great family day out on the trail and traditional fairground..
S. S.
Some lovely querkey products for sale, well with a browse. Unlikely to leave without seeing something to buy. On day of my visit meat selection not brilliant at all so a little disappointed.
S. w.
Lovely set up lots of different fruit to pick and sunflowers. Price bit high but all about the experience we loved it.
C. H.
Another fantastic morning at Over Farm, this time on the Spring Trail. So much effort has gone into making it a great experience. My Granddaughter loved it!
A. D.
Nice coffee, great produce on sale, helpful staff
C.
Great place to visit!
We booked a time slot for the pick-your-own which had plenty of ripe fruit and strawberries - we even walked the dog round with us too!
The farm shop always has a fantastic range of produce and the slices of carrot cake we bought were delicious. Love coming here and supporting a local business.
D. H.
Frightmare experience was really good! I would recommend a visit and it is great Halloween fun.
A. B.
Over Farm delivers again. We visited the Spring Trail at over farm on Saturday and was delighted, as always, with what was on offer, all the animals, play things and staff friendliness. Thank you.
A. T.
We always enjoyed going here for fresh veg and fruit resourced locally. Can be a bit pricey but good to support local businesses that are providing a great service. Good parking and walks nearby.
T. R.
We all enjoyed the Winter Trail. Great to see and feed the animals. Really well organised and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Really friendly and helpful. Fudge the goat stole the check sheet out of my daughters hand and ate it, which she's still upset about and keeps asking us to go get it back for her. She's only 2 so doesn't understand why we aren't keen 😂. Thank you for keeping the trail open in such rubbish times, especially as you are also still cleaning up from the flood.
J. T.
Excellent, great produce, very nice staff.
R. W.
Lovely walk around with interactive activities. Mr Wow was really good fun for the children. Bouncing pillows were enjoyed too. Thanks
H. H.
Cannot beat Over farm, the kids love this annual event, amazing value for money also
S. T.
Friendly and helpful staff. A must visit for very fresh veg, nice deli counter, butcher's and more. They respond very well to the seasons and put on great side lines for Halloween, Christmas etc.... I'm really happy to support a local business over the big multi nationals.
C. N.
Frightmare was back and better than ever, food a little bit pricey, but a great time
A. S.
Excellent shopping experience with quality food
G. S.
We went for the Halloween experience and it was great fun especially for the children
A. P.
Love this farm shop and cafe. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Their home grown fruit, vegetables are much better than any supermarket. They have an extensive butchery department with a wide range of produce. Yes a bit more expensive but always outstanding quality.
C.
Great farm shop plus you can pick your own brilliant every thing is fresh here
C. D.
Good quiche, sausage rolls but the frozen food is exceptional. Staff are friendly and you back your stuff into cardboard boxes. Good little farm shop.
E. N.
Brilliant pick your own strawberries. We booked online to take our toddlers. No queue, plenty of space. Contact free and easy to social distance. Strawberries tasted great and kept them happy for an hour. Then there were animals to see and feed and a lovely farm shop. Thanks over farm! Brilliant
G. B.
The trail for kids was brilliant, well thought out with lots to do and all felt very safe. Jumping pillows really fun. Only got 4 stars becausr there were no hand towels to dry hands at the hand wash station at the end, otherwise a brilliant day out.
R. D.
Gorgeous sarnies and 2 top Pumpkins for tonight, thank you!!!
C. H.
Lovely friendly staff and the kids were fully entertained by the trail and pumpkin picking. Plenty of hand sanitiser and hand wash stations. Time just flew past which always shows you've had a great time.
G. C.

H. M.
Great variety of produce Loving the scotch eggs and also the ham and mushroom quiche. Will be back for more!
L. W.
Feels great to pick your own and know what you're eating and where it came from. Came at start of July and was great for strawberries however blackberries weren't quite in full effect yet.
The whole farm smelt great too!!
S. S.
Very nice place to visit, shop has good choice but little bit expensive, would however recommend a visit
P. J.
Always excellent food and customer service from friendly staff
D. S. M. A. L.
Great selection of local products and helpful staff
L. S.
Farm shop is just fab. Love the quiches and fresh asparagus (seasonal.) Nice walk to see some farm animals too. Have events on during half terms and holidays. Good for children.
N. C.
Really good socially distanced summer farm trail and lovely food from the food van
N. F.
My daughter loved the fun fair, and there was very little queuing for any of the rides.
Whilst it wasn't overly expensive, it isn't a cheap day out, particularly if multiple trips on the rides are desired - you have to purchase tokens to use on each ride, rather than a single entrance fee.
M. G.
Great selection of fruit and veg and lots of other local goodies
m. m.
Brilliant fresh produce. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Also nice to go Berry picking when in season.
S.
Really lovely day out, animals look well cared for and healthy with lots of space. Went on their summer fair and there were good covid precautions but it all felt very natural. Great fun!
D. M.
Great experience for our 18 month old. Got ask strawberries and raspberries we could need and our son got to feed the animals as well! Brilliant day out.
P. B.
Friendly and efficient service. Lovely food.
S. M.
Excellent breakfast this morning, very friendly & helpful staff. Strawberries very tasty & Broad beans first class
B. L.
Lovely selection of artisan foods. Well worth calling in.
a. j.
Lovely farm shop. Fruit and veg at great prices and as fresh as anything. Lots of other items to interest you...gifts, cheese, bread....and loads more.
All of the staff have big smiles and are incredibly helpful.
Well worth a visit.
n. m.
Always enjoyable visit. I'm fond of the pickle/chutney selection though they are a bit pricey!
C. B.
The new coffee bar/cafe is a great addition - so good to see it all looming really busy and well supported this morning..
N. C.
Fresh local farm produce from the field and a great butchers too!
The shop is shut due to a flash flood but you can still order online and click and collect.
Excellent service.
Well done over farm people!
P. J. I.
Sells fruit, veg, eggs, local produce, deli counter etc.
Also has a good walk to visit donkeys, pigs, chicken and ostrich!
T. H.
Excellent for squashes and pumpkins for eating. Lots of unusual things in the shop. Very pricey but the quality is usually good so you oay for what you get. Have ostrich eggs if you are feeling hungry and adventurous!
A. Z.
HAD A BRILLIANTLY MUDDY DAY GETTING PUMPKINS AND WANDERING AROUND THE HALLOWEEN TRAIL.
R. B.
Used the drive thru service was great !! Organised and great produce , lemon drizzle cake was great !! A board with all items available would be handy, although we probably would have spent more !
K. L.
Nice little clean shop. Fairly priced. Friendly staff. Would go again.
R. K.
Great stash of local produce including Tubby Toms
C. J. B.
We had a fabulous day out as a family in the farm, fair and the shop. Really good day, to get the chance to feed and pet animals is such a treat. I could have sat with the goat's all day 🙂
d. c.
Best place for local produce, fruit, veg , meat, deli all super quality. Very highly recommended. Also fantastic approach to pandemic restrictions.
C. D.
Lovely PYO. Very nicely set up for social distancing and LOADS of strawberries to be had! Lovely farm shop on site also. Staff very helpful. Lovely place for a trip!
D. R.
Collected my tree today and it looks amazing.
M. P.
Very nice farm shop -- especially the meat department that sources really fantastic cuts. I've bought Boar fillet last time I was there and it was glorious -- The rest of the shop is also very nice, with really good quality and range, but to me, the meat dept alone is worth the stop.
M. R.
Incredible baked goods (scotch eggs and quiches in particular!), quality fresh fruit and veg and an impressive selection of locally made booze to quaff throughout; what's not to like!
C. M.
Had a lovely day on the Family trail. An opportunity to take a Spring stroll whilst looking at the animal and completing the quiz with my daughter and friends of the family!
N. G.
A good selection of fruit and vegetables and other produce. Fantastic that you can take your dog with you fruit-picking, unlike a lot of places - this made all the difference and made it an easy choice. A little pricey on packet goods, although that seems to be fairly standard with farm shops. The cafe isn't the most inspiring, but at least there is somewhere to sit down for a drink on site. We often pop in when we are passing.
M. S.
5th year doing Spookyard at Overfarm. Brilliant as usual. Recommend
M. R.
Very friendly, welcoming staff, all of the good quality products, and more, at a reasonable price, that you would expect from a successful and progressive farm shop. Would highly recommend!
S. H.
Took the kids to check out the inflatable theme park was great pricing per child is good but for a large family can be quiet costly given there's also attractions that cost extra to use. But all in all a great morning out and had 4 tired kiddies by the end of it
T. D.
Love visiting over farm, always great products and friendly service
R. B.
Such a great place . Visited here tonight for the Halloween festival "frightmare" never been before and what a night it's been such a great evening, the staff where amazing, loads of food and drink available, fun fair also! And loads of themed rooms for you to go round which will make you jump! Definitely recommend this place and me and the wife will definitely be back next year !
C. R.
Great selection of organic free range meat and vegetables. We've also been there to do pick-your-own strawberries which was a great experience. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.
S. P.
We had a great time as a family with 2 small children. There was plenty to do and all the staff were fantastic.
M. B.
Lovely place to grab locally sourced fresh fruit & veg at reasonable prices, also has a little butchers section with quite a good variety of fresh meats, also sells jars of pickles & jams etc & much much more. Nice little selection of local ciders, ales & even flavoured gins! Would recommend & will deffinately be returning.
J. L.
We were recommended by our Airbnb host to shop here. It was OK - went in primarily for steak. Was told they didn't have any despite it being sat in the counter... 🙃
H. H.
A great selection of their own grown fruit and veg, supplemented by locally sourced butchery, dairy and bakery product. A well stocked deli ... again with own and local proucts.
They encourage the use of customers using own packaging or recycling their box etc.
Can be busy but well worth it to get fresh and local products.
D. W.
Very interesting and diverse range of products, good quality food, all well displayed.
H. D.
Lovely place to buy vegetables, fruit, cheese etc. Great for bread flour. Helpful and careful staff especially with Covid restrictions. Thanks.
K. T.
Great shopping experience. Well managed for covid restrictions and the shop is clean and well stocked. Staff friendly and helpful. I will return and recommend.
j. p.
Staff are always friendly. stock is varied but always good quality can the cafe is superb.
C. H.
Got to love Over Farm Market. Beautiful fresh food and really unusual food and drinks for those special occasions. Duck eggs, Russet apples, Gloucester brewery beers. Fabulous.
r.
I don't live local but like to pop into shop when passing. Love the select vegetables they have at this time of year, especially the squashes - they have a large selection. We've picked up lovely meat there too. Well worth a visit.
k. h.
Excellent evening at over farm for the walk. Well worked out and found it funny listening to all the screaming
E. T.
A great place to visit - the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Pork Pie, Cheese and Onion quiche and Cheese and Ham quiche. The hummous and coleslaw is also extremely tastey. Food is freshly made and picked.
In addition, you can visit the animals on the farm. We had the privilege of seeing the Ostrich's at feeding time. Great experience for children and family. We also saw the pig, donkeys and horses. You can eat and drink on the premises too. Staff are very friendly and it's a nice relaxed atmosphere. There are also hand washing facilities for after petting/feeding the animals. Enjoy your visit!
M. S.
Popped in to go to the farm shop and visit the animals. Animals are well kept in good enclosures which was better than some similar petting farms we've visited before. The farm shop had a great selection of local, impressive produce. We went during October and they have an amazing selection of pumpkin and squash varieties. We had a hot drink and tasty cake in the indoor seating area. Quite a small seating area so imagine it gets busy at weekends. Not sure if it was a temporary situation but when we went they only had a single outdoor portaloo for visitors, not ideal but hopefully only temporary, we didn't find out. We found the place well worth a visit and will certainly be back. They also had a Halloween event on at the time of our visit which we didn't go to. The event looked good for kids with rides and inflatable bouncy castles etc. There was a price to pay to enter the event so we didn't bother, would appeal to older children mainly.
K. N.
Really lovely place was really excited to go in and get some nice hot food. Unfortunately when me and my husband went in the service was quite unfriendly but seems to be nice service to locals :/ the lady serving us had an unpleasant welcoming we orderd tea and coffee quich sausgae roll and a sandwich and when we were served the quich and sausgae roll it was stone cold. Apart from the stone cold food and horrible service the place is lovely. And has an amazing range of organic produce from their local farms.
M. R.
We had a great time at summer trail farm adventure, it is easy to follow with lots of facilities, animals and plenty for the children to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere. Fully recommend
R. L.
Best festival I have ever been to. So many quirky details thought about and an Absolutely awesome line up!
Only criticism, the main stage area could have been bigger. But definitely booking for the full 4 days next year!
Thank you!!
J. G.
We just did the Halloween walk and it was great! It is just a shame that, like everything in 2020 Covid has put so much restriction on what everyone can do. With social distancing having to be in place it was obviously not as scary as it really could be. (Maybe some people jumping out between areas or something would help?) That being said, they did a great job working around the restrictions and providing a great entertaining evening. We definitely want to return next year when we hope to be able to experience the full event!
The Bench Wenches were a particular highlight, they were hilarious (and creepy) they definitely deserve credit!
P. M.
We stopped here very briefly but it is a really fun shop to visit. The ice creams were great, it was asparagus season and there were heaps of fresh asparagus as well as all other sorts of produce (including ostrich eggs oddly enough). Lots of baked goods, deli food and a butchers service too. Plenty of parking and a few picnic tables if you are travelling and just need a rest stop.
A. T.
Absolutely love Over Farm! Brilliant shop with lots of selection and everything in the shop is always really fresh as well. I regularly walk around the farm with my niece, showing her all of the different animals, its just a great place to take the family! The different seasonal attractions the farm also run are absolutely outstanding, Especially at Halloween and Christmas! I can do nothing but give this place 5 stars for the brilliant efforts and family atmosphere! Keep up the good work Over Farm! :D
G. A.
Loved the pillow jump thing and the donkeys were my favourite 💕
M. H.
Absolutely beautiful place, so lovely to see all of the animals and the staff always have outstanding service skills in the shop. You can tell that this is one of the few family-run attractions still around and the atmosphere is so friendly. I have been here at Easter and Halloween, and the attractions are always incredible value for money. Over Farm maintains a personal touch with the business and every member of staff seems knowledgeable about the (incredibly priced) product. This place deserves no less than 5 stars!
j. d.
Great place
Great selection of produce
E. H.
Over Farm Market provides the best of Gloucestershire's produce. Some of my favourite examples are: fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, local wines, local fruit juices, eggs of quite seriously all sizes, pies, homemade fudge and the county's famous cheeses. The whole display is as delicious to see as it is to eat. The high quality and freshness of it all is plain to see. The people there have always been helpful and friendly to me.
D. M.
Good for young and old! Amazing day out
J. W.
Great fun 👍
H. S.
Over farm market is great but the tea room is not. The tea room was hot and dirty with food all over the floor even though there was no one in there. The glass had water marks on which made it feel unclean. Food and drinks were reasonably priced though and the brownie was delicious
T. F.
Not too impressed. Had difficulty locating it to start with as directions seen from busy road led us to wrong site. Took time and had to ask people how it all worked. Fruit on stands so easy to pick. But a lot only ripe on one side. Masses of strawberries, mostly unripe. I was a bit concerned about what they are treated with to make them give such high yields.
When finished picking wanted to have something to eat. Big mistake. Again very complicated process. Small menu. Had to select, then queue up at exit to pay, come back in to eat. Took some time and almost lost will to live. Can't say food was really worth the hassle.
If ever I go back it would just be for the fruit.
a. t.
Good range of produce but some items bit pricey for what they are. We bought a few snacks and the homemade pork pie and onion bhaji tasted very dry and lacked flavour. Samosas were good.
M. R.
Great to see the farm shop open. Josh working his socks off in the catering van, with a friendly smile and excellent service, keeping us fed and watered 🙂
J. P.
Great activities throughout the year for the kids, excellent produce in the farm shop. Alway a friendly welcome.
A. S.
Always a friendly welcome, and a great range of produce. Looking forward to trying the shiny new cafe when it's ready to open.
R. W.
Love this place. Proper fruit and veg locally grown. Cute little animal farm too. Has bank holiday treats for kids; bouncy castles fairs and a spooky Halloween fright night!
C. C.
Lovely farm shop. Lots of interesting things made locally. Cheeses, jams, chutneys, fudge, eggs( could but ostrich eggs), butcher, pottery, cakes and pastries, wonderful pure apple and pear drinks, chilli sauces and frozen homemade uncooked pastries, pies, breads that you bake in your oven.
Freshly picked veg and fruit grown locally.
Also has a field to pick your own strawberries.
An amazing experience. Just a bit pricey but we were spot to support local producers.
J. E.
I love shopping here ,the meat is exceptional, there’s a wide choice of local, fresh vegetables and the staff are always helpful. Bring your own containers for food and household cleaning products .- great local resource !
M. S.
Over priced! We had steak pasties but there was hardly any meat in them. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We ate upstairs which was cold with very basic table and chairs.
Y. E.
love sausage rolls and carrott cake
R. S.
Well run, Covid safe shopping for fresh produce, much of it locally produced. Good fresh produce. Lots of other things to do on the site. Worth a visit.
J. G.
Amazing deli counter and a wonderful selection of scotch eggs I have never seen so many varieties lovely helpful staff. Fresh veg looked really fresh what more can I say
S. H.
Beautiful setting, excellent produce and service. Well worth a visit
P. T.
Always drive an 80 mile round trip to get our Christmas veg from this farm shop, bit disappointed though as we came away with a ton of fruit flies this year which was a first and it put me off eating the veg. Otherwise a good shop.
N. O.
Good food with a reasonable range. I found it a bit hard to find everything due to the way the shop is arranged.
S. B.
Love this place great food great choice
S. S.
Fabulous and delicious choice of food ranging from delicatessen to butcher, wines, pottery, cakes & confectionery, fresh veg and eggs. Staff cheerful and very helpful. Superb cheese selection. Clean and well laid out.
J. H.
Good value day out. Felt kids were safe. If we'd known we would've been better prepared with picnic, camp chairs but no dramas as it was dry
N. S.
Brilliant day out for all ages 👍
E. “. T.
Always nice to visit. They have some lovely fresh produce. Some items are over priced but they do have some lovely items.
C. G.
Absolutely fantastic....in the day time there is loads to do with the kids as a family and pick massive pumpkins and carve them. Staff and great and friendly not too scary either..but by night the frightmare is amazing. So scary. The attractions will have you screaming and running it really is somewhere you need to visit. First time going to an event like this and it is well worth it. Will be going again in the day and the night. There is food and a bar also. So there is everything you need right there
S. D.
First visit to the farm so much wonderful choice of produce to choose from had a lovely tasty Sunday lunch. Wont be the last time we visit see you again soon.
W. W.
An Aladdin's cave. A must visit place. Very good prices for the range of quality food and items produced locally.
They have samples to try of various chilli chocolates - delicious with that after warmth - I couldn't resist purchasing a bar.
To top it all up the staff there were very warm and welcoming.
What's not to like.
M. D.
Good pricing polite staff very helpful
J. P.
It belongs to a family whom I know via aviation, but, it is a very well known & respected farm & the shop is second to none. The farm also offers a great family atmosphere for people of all ages.
A. S.
Great produce, very friendly and helpful staff
S. B. P.
Fantastic customer service, strawberrys are beautifully sweet, path to walk is not muddy at all, and social distancing rules in place, raspberries are not ripened yet, also that part of the farm is super muddy,
r. w.
Great day out! Plenty for our under 5’s to do. And Mr Wow at the end was a great addition!
J. M.
Great produce, lovely selection of stuff and not overpriced!
J. D.
Lovely day with a picnic and seeing the animals before picking our own strawberries and raspberries.
Didn't venture into the shop so can't comment there
A. C.
Lovely place run by lovely people! Barn on the Farm festival in summer is fantastic, and owners and staff are always really helpful, they also let me come and do a photoshoot on the farm for my university work. The shop is lovely and well run too!
G. C.
Was a lovely afternoon. Lots of young families enjoying the animals. Lovely place to lose yourself. Visit the shop lots of interesting goodies.
D. P.
Whenever we visit our family in Gloucestershire we call in. We really enjoy their fresh, varied produce. We have always been greeted politely by the friendly staff.
S. T.
Always so friendly and the produce is amazing especially from the Deli counter
R. J.
Amazing first experience! Pretty damn terrifying haha, all actors and staff were brilliant, food and drink was cheap and delicious!! If you have never been to Frightmare, I cannot recommend it enough! Can't wait to go back next year 😁👌🎃 Happy Halloween everyone!
G. B.
Always helpful and polite. Quality produce in a clean well cared for environment.
A. H.
Bought some belly pork and sirloin steak. We cooked it for our lunch great flavour and really tender, thank you to Dan . Definitely be back again.
S. D.
Rob is an amazing pilot with loads of great stories of flying around the world, as well as being a very calm, passionate and patient teacher. The airstrip is nice and facilities all there, including the farm shop for amazing local produce including the best pies you will find.
E. V.
Lovely little farm shop. Lots of seasonal fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices as well as a large selection if local produce and products. They have an onsite deli and cheese counter and a large selection of local beers and ciders. In October they host a family friendly spook yard and pick your own pumkin patch, as well as the infamous halloween fright night, Frightmare!
C. N.
This years Strawberries are possibly the best i have ever tasted😃. The measures put in place for Covid 19, 5 *.
Only small complaint is some items are a bit pricy, not enough for me to mark you down
J. E.
Great family day out, really good value for money. Very well organised and covid secure.
C. F.
Fabulous Sunday Dinner Bag.... Excellent value for money and we got to see the animals on route... Awesome idea 😊
C. A.
Brilliant community business and has been here since I was born holding fun events and selling Gloucester's own produce
s. p.
Amazing Halloween experience..Have not been to the Farmers Market but it seems to be highly thought of.I have sampled some of the produce at the Cheltenham Market though, and thought it was very, very good.I think we should all support local farmers, their markets, and shops as much as possible in the fight to pull this planet back to health..
J. D.
Visited over farm for Frightmare as well as purchasing our pumpkin for Halloween. Frightmare is a top event and highly reccomend it and over farm is a great like shop for produce at reasonable prices for quality food.
S. B.
Wherever possible sells local produce. The butchers is excellent, if you like lamb then you will love this place. £3kg cheaper than supermarkets and tastes so much better.
L. C.
Nice for a spot of strawberry/raspberry picking. The farm shop has a lovely selection of food and drink. We also sat in the café upstairs and had some drinks and pastries.
K. A.
Love it here. Can't wait for fun fair to come back. Only suggestion, leave a dogs water bowl outside shop with fresh water 💧 👌
J. L.
This place is fantastic. The staff in the shop are great and beautiful. Frightmare at Halloween is incredible and scary. Barn on the farm in the summer is the best weekend of the year! Over farm market rules!!!!!
K. &. E.
Nice place. The trail is extremely expensive if you didn't book online.
E. D.
The safety of all the people they did was amazing. We all had a great time well done over farm

k. j.
A lovely farm shop with a great little coffee shop, well worth a visit.
S. S.
Haven't been for a while because, in the past always been let down by the quality, quantity and the variety of fresh produce....amazed at how much different the place is now....the variety and quality of the produce was second to none.....staff very helpful and were able to give me different cooking methods etc .....the butcher's counter was outstanding and again staff very helpful....I was there near to closing time but was not rushed in any way so they could shut up..I will definitely go there again.....by the way strawberries we're delicious!
A. w. R.
Nice hot food. Tho there was about a 10 min wait for it.
B. M.
Nice range of local produce. Prices are on the high side but for the occasional shop they are good. Butchery needs to be colder in hot weather.
S. E.
Abundance of gorgeous strawberries and raspberries picked today. Very good value too. Fabulous 'farm' produce in shop too. Highly recommend visiting.
a. k.
Parking up is easy with a short walk to the shop. Everything is easily accessible and you end up with a five minute delicious food-buying process! Loved it!
A. R.
Great day out with the kids. Very affordable and enjoyable. The whole family loved the giant bouncy pillows!
R. H.
Great farm market shop, fantastic food, great staff, children will enjoy the farm animals, and the snack van is just right.
S. H.
They put on different events throughout the year which are always well organised and reasonable, they have an excellent selection of goods and produce but it is to expensive for my liking
S. B.
A good farmshop with onsite butcher. Sells range of fruit and veg, cheeses and pies, dairy and dry produce. Traffic lights on dual carriageway make easy access. Especially good for meat, cheese and local veg.
R. H.
Friendly, great local produce, brilliant activities for kids...overall a really good experience.
V. L.
Perfect way to spend the day if you have the children with you, lots to see and do! Well worth having a look around the farm shop, plenty of local produce and a really well priced deli and bakery area.

G. J.
Brilliant local produce. Plastic free shop, deli counter, butchers and much more.
M. T.
Nice selection of local products though not always the best range of cheeses. The Tubby Tom's hot sauce though 🔥 🌟 💦
C. F.
Its good as a little visit with the kids for an hour or so. They have got a few animals that you can look at and depending on the time of year they have different fruit you can pick, nice little farm shop too.
Z. P.
Very good experience for the family, very friendly and helpful staff
S. D.
A great place to go with the children. We all had so much fun and Wendy was lovely and helpful too 👍🏾
H. J.
Fantastic afternoon at over farm. Had the place to ourselves as it had been raining and they couldn't have been more helpful drying it all off for our kids.
D. E.
Nice produce...bit over the top COVID regs. Husband was not allowed to go round shop with me.
P. T.
My husband was very impressed with the shop, very nice produce, will call again next time in the area.
B. B.
I love this place! Everything is great about it. A bit pricey but that's understandable. The eggs are a good price and we buy lots of them!
C. R.
I appreciate their social distancing measures and have enjoyed shopping there during the lockdown. Lots of good fresh products.
D. A.
I took a group from work and found Over Farm to be fantastic lots if different animals who were friendly and we fed them. Will go again in the summer
D. H.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff when it comes to food sources etc. Great butcher offering packs and fresh cuts of meats. In here quite regularly throughout the year
J. S.
Excellent. Stopped to hand over grandchildren. Easy parking. Loo. Farm shop selling lots of lovely things for a quick picnic lunch.
T. R. H. F.
Not to happy this year with the price hike in the Halloween event, its doubled in price, I agree that the children price should go up they do more, and I understand we all get a pumpkin but adults £12 when we hardly did anything that's not right, I can't say nothing bad about the event apart from the price it's great, staff are friendly and helpful and they're was lots to do but, that price hike is wrong and to be told that next year we will have to pay for parking, you don't pay any other time, even when the inflatables are there you don't pay, just seems your getting a bit greedy, you also got rid of a family ticket, if you have one child it's not to bad but if you have more it cost a fortune, I do appreciate that you took away the fayre as that broke the bank last year but plz look in to the price even if adults was a few pound less
R. F.
Fantastic produce and the new farm is out of this world. Great for all ages
T. G.
Lovely spot. Staff friendly and allowed dog to go in shop. Had a nice walk too. The goat was entertaining.
M. S.
Interesting and different selection of goods and drinks. Good to see what carbon miles the products have. Pleasant and helpful staff.
J. R.
Nice farm Market. Bit more money than supermarket but better quality stuff.
S. E.
Lovely place to get fresh veg and other tasty delights, along with nice plants too. Very friendly and helpful staff.
S. R.
Over Farm is one of the jewels in Gloucestershire's crown. Run by a lovely, warm and fantastic family, it offers a lavishly stocked market with farm produced goods par excellence, year round attractions such as Frightmare, Easter & Christmas fun fairs, animals to enthrall their younger visitors and, for me, the best music festival in the country - Barn On The Farm.
Anyone visiting the area should consider Over Farm a must - you won't be disappointed.
M. H.
Lovely produce lovely staff! Always have some event on! A massive asset to Gloucester
A. H.

R. P.
Good fresh food veg eggs and coffee bar. All the benefits of being fresh and not a week in transit.
S. F.
The shop has oodles of good food and drink. There doesn't seem to be as many animals as there were. The pigs were asleep.
M. M.
Not that pricey for a farmer's market and the quality of food is impeccable.
And if your here for the Christmas trees there also very well priced
S. M.
Friendly and helpful staff. A lovely range of farm produce. The Herefordshire steak we bought was amazing.
P. B.

Great range. Good quality. And amazingly innovative during Covid-19 restrictions.
B. L.
What a beautiful place with lots to keep the children, young and old occupied. Highly recommended and will definitely return

This place has some potential and it does host some good events if your into that sort of thing and the farm is free to view the animals as usually simular places would charge a small fortune (even the car park is free) but I did have one bad experience I was working there and I went into the farm shop and asked where the person I was working for was (who is well known there and around glos/chelt) and the guys in there looked at me as if I was an alien from Planet X so over farm loses a star

To "Mike Edwards" - I'm suprised that that was all that you saw! When you go there now there is a open tent, much more animals and food and drinks being sold. I'm sorry that that had happened to you but come now and it has changed. Don't be put off please. To "A Google User" (2nd From The Bottom Of Page) - I am shocked that that happened to you. I'm so sorry. That was before some new people took over Over Farm. Highnam is a lovely place and I am shocked that someone would do that to you. Everyone in Highnam is kind and gentle and no one like that. I'm really sorry. Over Farm is great! and not for people like that. Please come again and not be put off. If you come now then it will be great. My Experience - Over Farm Market is in the lovely place in Highnam. Anywhere in Highnam is great as Highnam is a lovely place for anyone to go to. Go there! Over Farm is great for all ages. At Over Farm, there are Great bouncy castles for the kids and lots of animals to see and feed. The owners of the animals are lovely and there is also a tent where they sell refreshing drinks and food for good prices. Definitely recommend there. The Car Park is great. Always Room, and also behind the Car Park is a cycle/walking path which is really nice and it takes you to the heart of the Best Village In The World!, Highnam. Love It.
