a.I've only been here a few times but think it's great. Staff are very friendly and generous.
Most recent time I went we ordered a kilo of ribeye which tasted delicious once cooked, and 500g of pork. I was short on rosemary and they kindly gave me a free sprig even though they don't officially sell it and also gave me the pork for free!
Sure the steak wasn't that cheap but it was better quality than supermarket by far and not worlds apart in terms of price.
Great experience and great meat, will definitely be going back to try their pies etc.
M. A.I recently bought the Chimichurri flavoured chicken breasts and was really impressed with the taste and flavour. The assistant was very friendly and personable and gave me a card to give him feedback. When I came here around 5 years ago, they used to do quail scotch eggs which were DELICIOUS. Unfortunately they weren't on sale this time, but they did have the regular ones and he said they were going to increase their stock. I look forward to coming back again.
G. P.I first shopped at Cleaver butcher last September and I since became a regular. They offer a large range of locally sourced meats. Everything I have bought so far has been of a great quality and very reasonably priced. The butchers are knowledgeable and have always been able to offer good advises on their products. I would definitely recommend shopping there.
G. V. C.Team at Cleaver's is very friendly and professional! I've asked them for a favour to slice some salami that I brought from Italy and they were kind to assist with that. I regularly buy my meat from them and the pork schnitzels and meatballs are to die for! Would totally recommend a visit.

E. G.Excellent quality meat, the steak they sell is second to none, geezer in the counter is such a nice chap. They also have Spanish cold cuts and more stuff. Used to buy from Waitrose or Sainsbury's, but now when I want to indulge myself with some good cuts I pop over, round the corner from my house. We should support local businesses a little bit more.
F. C.Fantastic quality, lamb and beef are delicious, and they do some of the best sausages we've ever eaten. The guys behind the counter give great cooking advice.
