The vendors were very kind and offered us many samples with explanation on what’s in each. First time that we try charcuterie from Britain. Everything was delicious and we learned a lot about the meat. We brought some to enjoy as dinner at home - it was ridiculous good. Will definitely want to come again and recommend to visiting friends.

The best local charcuterie and tasty porky snacks you'll get in London. Amazing customer service, packaging, and communication. Just do yourself a favour and stop reading this and order some meat.

Crown & Queue delivers on all their promises. Upon a recommendation from a friend, I took a gamble and ordered late on a Saturday in the hope I'd receive a small hamper in time to take to a friend for his birthday on Tuesday. I was really impressed with the after hours communication but even more impressed that not only did my order arrive in time but also was beautifully packagaged. I didn't even have to wrap it! Much to our collective delight, the birthday boy decided we need to sample a couple of the meats there and then and they really lived up to all expectations. Full of deep flavour, quite different from anything we've tried before. Thank you Adrienne & David. Present buying only from Crown & Queue for now on.

Where to begin? Towards the climax, don’t worry. Could there be a more superior purveyor of fine cured meats than Crown & Queue? I doubt it. In many ways the term ‘cured meats’ doesn’t represent this place sufficiently. This is of a quality so far beyond anything else experienced in the genre that is seems unfair not to give it an alternative name. I call it ‘pork nirvana’. I have so far tried the black pepper pork belly, Imp and sticks.

Been here two days in a row as the produce is so tasty. We ate a whole devils mortar yesterday on Le Pedlars bread (created a top notch BLT with their burnt orange and rum ham included) so needed to recoup the loss with double the amount for some corn fritters for brunch on the weekend. Really unique selection, recipe ideas and smoking/drying techniques and flavours. Follow them on instagram so you can get inspired with ideas - some which sound bonkers but work. Perfect! Nice people too

Amazing customer service (shout out to lady boss & the two lovely assistants), affordable prices on cured meats that you can't find it at some random supermarket and also more than happy to dish out samples. Oh and also the piggy jokes on the blackboard which I can never seem to answer it right... Apparently they have a branch in King's Cross too?!?

The kick in the head is absolutely delicious. They are very happy to let you try things and they are all very good... but the rolled pigs head is definitely the answer!
