Reviews of Daylesford Organic
T. J.
Delightful and enticing spread that makes you want to buy the entire shop. The setting is not bad either, especially the excellent people watching spot outside
I. P.
Quite a busy place if you wish to stay for lunch. There is a need to book a table in advance or expect waiting time.
Have not explored the shop, but quickly browsed in homeward section. They have plenty of pretty stuff.
Worth exploring.

Service was great. Every single person was so friendly and attentive. Loved that. Food wise it wasn't that great. I had the babette which was nice but the portion was quite small. The red cabbage pure was the best thing on the plate. For dessert I had a ginger infused mandarin which had lovely flavour but the dish was missing the yoghurt that was included in the dish description
O. A. N.
One of the best spots for a local feel of Notting Hill.. outdoor tables were wiggly and uncomfortable other than that it’s super 👍🏾
S. D.
Went to a lovely wedding here, such a pretty setting. Food was really nice and the staff were absolutely excellent, so attentive and considerate but also fun. The shop looks great, lots of food and home options. Would love to visit the farm now I've had a small taste!
M. H.
This is such a gem. The brunch was very delicious, and you can tell the food is fresh! The cafe was a bit busy so the service was a little slow, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The shop has gorgeous produce and grocery items. This is where you’d shop for those special few items or for a certain occasion. The home store has a fantastic array of moderately priced home goods. The candles are particularly lovely!

Great value Sunday Roast menu, with some vegetarian options just make sure you get there early as the kitchen closes at 3pm on a Sunday with the grocery closing an hour later.
K. M.
Just had the beef burger today staff were friendly and the place is definitely more efficient than it was a month ago. Most of the staff are friendly and will be back again soon.
F. V.
One of my favourite brunch places in London. Very nice staff and the food quality is perfect. The store is also very nice. Coffee is an absolute must. Maybe there's a queue, but it's worthwhile waiting (and doesn't take long)

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at Daylesford in Notting Hill. They pulled off an amazing care package for one of our high profile clients who loved it! The team pre made me a hamper with their suggestions and then allowed me to browse the shop with a member of the team and swap and add items as needed. Will 100% be using again and recommending to everyone!! Great presentation, range of products and customer service. Thank you!

Had lunch with a friend and was amazed about the food and drinks, had a special of the day and it was so delicious Beef Brisket slow cooked with some vegetable, had a grape juice and it so so taste. I will def visit again with my husband and son next time we come to London.
A.
Pleasant atmosphere, shop and restaurant lovely decorated. Had a very nice organic lunch outside, slightly pricey coffee/drinks though.
J. M.
Could do a full shop here. They also sell London honey. Downstairs they have some non food gifts. I went during Easter, so there was a nice display of Easter eggs of various sizes.
Great selection of cheese, very nice.
M. B.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Lovely, fresh and refreshing food. Nice combinations. Reasonably priced (to local standards). Mediocre wine. Had a very nice lunch. Lovely little shop downstairs.
G. W.
A neat delicatessen / brasserie. Produce is of an undoubtedly high standard and the restaurant serves much from the deli counter. Prices are at the highest end of the spectrum, and possibly only payable by those on one too.
But it is nice.
J. H.
I have no idea what they sale but I attended a wedding reception in the evening. Small place which makes it great for a small crowd - intimate. The floor plan worked well for everyone who attended and the staff serving drinks were a good laugh
G. A. O.
I just visited Nottinghill Daylesford Oragnic 7 times. (Because my house is nearer Marylebone Daylesford Organic) But, when I visiting the Westbourne grove Dalylesford, all sales and restaurants staffs were kind even the shop was busy. And dish was also good.
M. C.
After a squirt of hand sanitiser on arrival, I entered Daylesford Organic. The shop was laid out beautifully and it had social distancing signage around to remind customers to maintain physical distance. It was also pleasing to see that the fruit and veg in the baskets were not covered in unnecessary plastic wrapping. I bought a chocolate brownie for £2.99 to go - it was divine and probably one of the best I have tasted in a long time.
M. I.
Organic is the word this place is so fresh with all the meanings that would give you..
Very friendly
Very busy in weekends for families
Very basic too
Fresh produce
Fresh dairy
Salads and light lunches
Thumbs up 👍 Daylesford
S. N.
A pretty good lunch. Food was served on a warm plate, seasoning balanced. Sea Bas, caramelised onion mash, fries
G. D.
Lovely organic food! Their ginger biscuits are sublime.
T. W.
Amazing selection for organic groceries. You can also get hot coffee/drinks and delicious bakes here.
M. M.
Had a pasta with venison. Pasta not very al dente. Great vibe and awesome organic food. Pricey
G. K.
Amazing food and also good quality of products. I love this place mainly when the weather is sunny where you can sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the area.
A. N.
Great service with wonderful fresh produce. Excellent for brunch with a variety of delicious options.
M. B.
Great breakfast spot! Cozy and the food and cappuccinos are divine
R. M.
Great food, lovely area. I could happily break the bank shopping there everyday.
A. H.
Really love the food here: grass fed and organic meats and delicious soups etc. It is excellent quality.
I find the staff overall very helpful too and especially at the meat counter, who are really passionate about the food and Daylesford farm.
One thing to improve: at least three times I have bought an item which has their 30% off sticker, the discount hasn't been applied only for me to find out much later. If there was a better system for this, it would be an improvement for customers (and helpful too for the staff too).
G. K.
I ordered delivery via Deliveroo for a turkey meal. Unfortunately they were out of turkey. I was promptly contacted by a member of staff to exchange the meal for chicken. In addition to this, I was refunded the full amount. The staff were very courteous and kind. The meal itself was delicious and healthy. I would recommend to anyone.
C. V.
Very fresh and delicious meal, friendly staff. Nice surrounding, nice decoration. Nice shop.
e. l.
Very good coffee and cake, hiquality organic goods
N. L.
The shop is excellent quality. The cafe could be slightly better, in gastronomic terms. The organic smoked salmon is a real standout in these days of ubiquitous mediocre smoked salmon. A personal favourite is the sweet potato dhal, which has a real kick to it. Quite pricey, I suppose. Jeremy Paxman was in there, so that was cool.
R. W.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere
G. R.
Amazing food and grocery product. On the higher end of price point but you do get a higher quality of product. The food tastes amazing and the groceries are very fresh and organic. The desserts and pastries are also amazing. One of my favorite things to get here are the soups. They are very fresh and they all taste amazing. They also have a variety of broth selections. I highly recommend this place.
T. I.
Nice place to have breakfast
N. D.
Decent food, organic and plenty of vegan option. Expensive. Good service.
M.
Nice spot to work from remotely sipping a nice and hot soya latte! And why not, having a delicious and organic snack from time to time as well.
R. B. F.
Cosy, clean , 👍 decoration, price not bad, it worth the visit.
J. K.
Lovely interiors, great selection of products that are all organic and vegetarian selection brilliant!
P. K.
Great place with delicious food marvellous costumers service pleasant location.
G. S.
Super tasty organic breakfast. Friendly staff.
A. d. B.
Amazing selection of organic British produce! Can't wait to visit again!
J. O. C.
Decent but extremely short and non-standard menu. Wanted to have a normal brunch but they didn't have many of the staple-dishes (eggs Florentine and such). So I ended up ordering lamb which was on the main meals menu. In addition to the restaurant area, there is also an organic food market and some decorative stuff at the basement. It's a weird combination but works very well in Notting hill. Only thing I missed was a bigger terrace
L. W.
Love this place. Yes it is pricey - if only I could shop here every day. The meat is superb - the steaks are so tender and they have good selection of seasonal organic veggies/fruit. The staff are all friendly and helpful and actually seem happy to work there. The flat whites are spot on. I pop in whenever I'm in the area...
T. C.
You can find almost anything here, at least it looks that way.
Good choice of product without overloaded shelves. They have a caffee , something to discover next time.
Clean and light, very welcoming shop.
D. A.
An amazing and delicious spot in beautiful Notting Gill!
G. Y.
Juice pret good
M. G.
Excellent food. Had the English breakfast and it was delicious. Also their cakes and pies are incredible. My favourite was the vanilla cheesecake.
S. C.
My favourite organic grocery in all of London. A wonderful experience.
S. G.
Didn't have what I wanted, but got some delicious bread
R. H.
Good for food and some good kitchen stufg
A. G.
Like it everytime but the prices are way to high
J.
Food is a bit expensive but it is worth it for lovely sustainably sourced ingredients. Recommend the salad bowls.
J. S.
Great place for breakfast. Splendid food without a long wait.
All about using good quality products to make a nice meal.
Prices are London expected, but have never felt ripped off.
J. A.
I had my birthday dinner for 20 people at Daylesford Notting Hill. From start to finish, the organisation, attention and service was impeccable. Everything went smooth on the night, and I would highly recommend this venue. Food is delicious, generous portions and great selection of organic drinks. Thanks once again!
C. K.
Super pricey, but very fun to shop here. Their jam and coconut yogurt are very good, and if you go late or early in the morning a lot of their food is discounted.
A. L.
Awesome place and expensive but worth it
M. D.
An exceptionally classy joint. Highly reccomend to anyone how appreciates quality. You must visit at least once to appreciate the difference. Keep up the good work Daylesford Farm.

The Ultimate Accolade of Organic Food and Dining- Exploited with Honesty and Integrity.
The ultimate accolade of "Organic" wins its prestigious title with variety.
Daylesford combines a hearty menu fit for all dietary requirement, labelling the dishes/ drinks with an * to specify if it is not organic. (FYI there are Limited * on the menu)
The food at Daylesford is (and I mean this with all honesty) by far the best food I have had in the UK. It tastes SO fresh. I actually felt energetic and GOOD after eating... this is what food should taste and feel like to the body.
The interior design of Daylesford Organic is unique to its name. Even the poles on the upstairs seating are made of wood! (Hopefully recycled to keep its name golden)
They have a widescreen TV playing clips from their farm. (A Really cool addition and great cinematographer btw!)
The shop offers a beautiful display of all ones heart and gut desires. From organic jams, butters, cheeses, granola, vegetables, fruit, porridge, pickle, to a wide selection of organic wine, beer, and drinks.
Downstairs Daylesford has another shop selling kitchen utilities, home deco, home supplies, organic candles and lotions.
The bathrooms are clean, and smell fresh! Though there is often a queue because (to no surprise) it is a busy, fast-paced, beaming restaurant.
If you just want a coffee - no problem!
There is this wonderful Parisian feel upstairs, beaming with energy and light.
The cafe offers organic coffees to stay and enjoy outside on the front patio or to take with you to your next destination.
The staff at D.Organic are great, friendly, and accommodating considering the heap.
When we went, we did have to share a table with another couple, but -- this was no problem whatsoever. It never felt shared it felt unified. (Not to be cheesy- but the food does this to you )
I will most definitely return. Daylesford sticks to its name, wins my vote -- and I guess word gets around... thus, it is busy but divine.
K. L.
I am a health-freak and never leave without a good review any place that holds top positions in my list and it is offering great selections of organic food, that tastes heavenly delicious! And here is my experience with Daylesford Organic – it would be a five star, if it was not a bit too pricey for my budget, but everything is cooked so well, well-seasoned and yet, healthy. The oxtail soup is a pick that I personally recommend you to try..it is to-die-for! Lovely place and service on point!
B. R. W. H.
Their pesto and onion chutney are both delicious. They have a great range of meats and the friendlest butcher
K. L.
The food is tasty and it's a bit expensive, lovely things inside however
The service is terrible. They don't serve you with a smile as if they just don't care. My friend dropped her satchet of sauce on the floor after She bought her salad. And no one helped or offered to help. Just watched me clean up after my friend. And then said "the bins outside"
For such a nice place the service is suprisingly bad. At least at tescos they say "have a good day"
M. T.
I used to visit there when living nearby. They are relatively pricy, but the selection was great from fresh food to home products. The closing time is a bit early so I'm sorry that I could only visit on weekend.
L.
Let me start by saying that I can't fault the quality of the produce used in the cafe. However, what is actually done with that produce is the real determining factor in whether or not an establishment leaves a good impression. This is where Daylesford fell short of the mark. We ordered a seasonal vegetable omelette, avocado on toast and the nut mylk latte. First we were told that there were no avocadoes left, whereas there were many avocadoes on sale in the shop section. Maybe the cafe kitchens aren't allowed to use those, but surely the customer's wishes come first? We instead ordered the eggs benedict with ham. Then we were told that only two of the nut mylk drinks on the menu were available, so we ordered the one with turmeric and other spices, which was delicious (although I would suggest using smaller glasses, as using a large one gives the impression that the portion is small, whereas the serving size was actually 250 ml). The food then arrived and the omelette in particular was very disappointing - a child size omelette with a few cubes of courgette sprinkled over it, then folded. The eggs benedict dish was very flavourful, but could benefit from some extra ham and the bread to be toasted with maybe a smear of butter to hold the ham in place. We also ordered a few items from the bakery counter, which were truly delicious. Overall wonderful quality and we would love to go back, but only if the issues with the dishes themselves are ironed out.
C. A.
Cute place with good food etc... I did not like the waiting and the staff attitude. I can understand they are under pressure and tired but they should find a better way to manage the high demand without frustrating their staff and customers. I would go again for sure, but I would have a back up option if the queue too long i would not bother and wait anymore.
B.
If you get lucky the doorman will open the door for you!! Not always and personally I don't like it but just to say.. 😉 Anyway, very good quality stuff inside you can get, meat, veggie, cheese, bread and some other groceries, everything is mostly top first quality, organic, some of it a little pricey but you get what you pay for!
J. Y.
For me personally, my experience with Daylesford Organic boils down to the fresh, tasty British produce and the great and hearty breakfasts, my mates and I share in the weekends! It has a WiFi..great coffee area outside, when the weather affords it and of course, the food taste like nowhere else – it is fantastic! And last, but not least, you can buy most of the ingredients you have already tried, from the market area!
G. M.
The cashier didn’t have a mask on, but we always enjoy shopping the quality products and goods sold here.
J. L.
This place and everytng they stand for is amazing! This is somewhere that sacrifices profits and margins for organic, sustainable practices. You can absolutely taste the difference in the overall purity and quality of their food. NO hormones antibiotics or pesticides. They go to great lengths to get back to the roots of farming. They are truly trailblazing the way back to how it should be. Thank you Daylesford for raising the bar in the food industry and for your delicious homemade products!
J. G.
We had breakfast there two days in a row. The food was excellent, the service was sometimes awkward. If we had not enjoyed the discount offered by our land lady, it would have been expensive.
s. d. l.
What a gem! Incredibly delicious food at the restaurant ! Friendly staff and amazing selection of vegetables and meats at the deli counter. As well as home decor.
A. P.
Visited for breakfast, have to concur with some of the reviews that highlight the service shortcomings, which were marked. The food itself was perfectly adequate but not exceptional. The eatery doesn't match the lustre of the shop.
C. B.
Wonderful products and food but very pricey. Clientele can be judged by the number.of shiny 4x4s in the car park and shiny wellies worn with new Barbour and new tweed jackets trying to look old!
C. H.
All day cafe-deli ideal for breakfast, brunch and lunch in the sun when shopping in Notting Hill. Seasonal organic produce and menu to match from the Daylesford organic farms make it a nice place to treat a friend or get a treat to take away. Superb cakes and sandwich/salad options for a picnic and some lovely jams and chutneys to make up a gift.
G. M.
Great local spot! The space is homey and the quality of the products excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. What's more is that there is a home ware store of the brand in the lower ground floor. Worth a visit and revisit...
M. B.
Fantastic store. I was really looked after when I was creating bespoke hampers this week. Thank you to the Manager, Santiago, for really helping me out!
P. G.
Lovely shop, great home section. Staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodation when we asked for gluton free meals. Food is a bit over priced for a cafe.
G. Y.
Fantastic place to grab a brunch in notting hill. They have a great brunch menu with 4 different eggs benedict dishes and the service was just as great as the food. As an organic store they have a great range of products, their jams are quite the talk of the town as is their chutey. The atmosphere was lovely and warm and I would highly recommend this spot for a sunday brunch!
L. C.
Really overpriced but really nice! You feel healthy just stepping over the threshold! The juices are fab. Great for brunch and people watching outside
X. K.
Good, if slightly pricey, butcher. Let down by inattentive service...
A. P.
Great food and reception only let down by poor table service. Menu needs a refresh somewhat and there are not many vegan options for those who dont eat dairy.
E. S.
The vegetables are not so fresh.
M. Á. Q.
Lucinda gave us a fantastic service. Delicious meals, nice & friendly atmosphere. Recommended while you are visiting Noting Hill.
M. F.
Excellent cafe with a vast array of the freshest food and drinks that are freshly made and served at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff as well.
E. S.
I was positively surprised at the range of health products here, many of a things I was looking for to replace the chemical-ridden stuff common everywhere. And the cafe at the shop is great for occasional laptop work.
B. T.
Nice atmosphere, great food, organic ingredients and products what else can one ask. It tends to be on the pricier side and a bit crowded at rush hours.
G. S.
Lovely tea, coffee and foods including produce. Staff is engaged not too present but helpful when needed, so exactly what’s needed.
R. B.
THE place to go for lovers of artisinal, organic, rural & chic style, serving and selling a wide range of selected products coming straight from their farms in a well-designed Scandinavia-inspired restaurant & shop. You not only can do all your shopping there as there is a butcher, a cheese factory, a bakery, a wine cellar etc.. but also stay for having lunch.
S. P.
We enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and delicious meals composed of organic ingredients. Thank you Lucinda for making us feel at home.
J. C. (. r.
Nice deli and coffee but very expensive for what it is. Huge choice of honey if that's your thing. Can't comment on the restaurant but it looked busy
S. C.
My favourite organic grocery in all of London. A wonderful experience.
C. M.
Great organic restaurant for everyone who tries to eat healthy. The food is truly excellent and freshly made. I recommend the restaurant to my customers in the fitness center since everyone there wants to live a healthy live.

D. A.
An amazing and delicious spot in beautiful Notting Gill!
S. A.
Fantastic and incredibly helpful staff. So appreciative of their help!
N. J.
Delicious organic food, both sold and served at this popular Notting Hill destination. Very popular and outdoor seating on Westbourne Grove in the summer is great.
A. G.
Like it everytime but the prices are way to high
L. P.
Quality ingredients but menu very difficult to read. Burger was nice and so was salad. Would try eggs next time.
A. M.
Great food and nice staff. It’s also a shop for organic things. Super cool!
A. C.
Mainly all plates are done with organic food...frankly speaking, given also the high price, I haven't enjoyed the food and the waiting time was quite long .. but do not miss the desserts:))
L. S.
I always stop by here to have a coffee and hanging around to have some healthy bites. Nice place with smiling people. Good energy.
C. B.
Great selection of goods in their shop and a delicious menu in their restaurant. The portions aren't huge, but the quality is really amazing.
N. H.
Love breakfasts here! A bit pricey but really good quality food ingredients.
K. W.
They managed to seat us on a busy Sunday morning. Service was great and the food was just as good.
S. G.
Didn't have what I wanted, but got some delicious bread

A place not to be missed in Notting Hill ,can be a good option for a coffee , or for a stop by . Also the supermarket part is very nice .
A. S.
Love this place. Has great fresh vegetable and meat, prepared foods are fresh and the cafe is lovely!
S. D.
Quite expensive to eat in, food to buy is nice quality though! Chocolate cake was good, but a bit too rich.
H.
A little overpriced, but the coffee and pantry goods are excellent.
V. B.
Great produce and organic ready made food. Also check out their wine and cheese—really well curated!
D. C. P.
Good food, nice shop and restaurant. Ate on sidewalk. Highly recommend. Easy walk in Notting Hill neighborhood.
R. T.
Great selection of sustainable produce and pantry items. I especially love the gift and homewares shop on the basement level!
N. A.
Excellent quality. Not very filling and abit too real organic showbiz rather than real food to fill u up organially.
E. A.
I’m a regular at Daylesford and the reason for that is the great quality of the goods (specially meat and fruit) and the service.
J. B.
Amazing shop with a great selection of quality products! Lots of vegetarian and vegan products as well. There is also a restaurant/cafe upstairs.
I. E. M.
I like their coffee :)

Staff very helpfull all the time and all very good butcher or coffe what you go to get from them no reason to complain
J. L.
Foods great. Our service was poor and they run out of ingredients.
D. B.
Sadly, I found the service very snooty and the salads underwhelming and overpriced. It's more of a place to 'be seen' than anything else.
A. B.
Very good and fresh products with prices to match. A huge variety of choices.
L. F.
Lots of cute baked and organic goods. Their strawberry jam is bomb!
T. A.
It's expensive, but that's what real food costs. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and passionate.
