Purveyors of fine quality meat. If you are into meat, don't walk past without making a visit! Had a beef and beer night consisting of short rib and a piece of rump the size of a newborn (premature). After 6hrs sous vide this meat made things happen inside me I never thought possible.

I bought my Christmas turkey, beef and all the other Christmas trimmings from Flock and Herd and everything was super delicious. I picked up my order the day before Christmas Eve and the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff was exceptional. Fantastic butchers, highly recommended.

As a person who eats very little meat, it's quite unusual for me to give this much praise to a butcher's shop, but this one is more than deserving of the praise. The boys here really know their stuff, and are extremely passionate about what they do. The meat is of an extremely high standard, and I'd highly recommend the sausages. I'd urge anyone in the local area who picks up their meat at a chain supermarket to visit this place - the service and quality of the meat is worth it.

Cute independent butchers on Peckham Rye high street. Serves solely organic and free range meats, and their sausages are some of the best I've had. The owner, Charlie, and his staff are really friendly and super knowledgable all the types/cuts of meats. Worth a visit.

Wow. Super customer service from the staff! I tried to get a goose this Christmas at the last minute with no avail. After a frantic call they promised to keep their last goose for me for 30 mins, even though they had never met me or received money in advance and could have easily sold it beforehand. I have never been to this store and when my wife and I arrived we were warmly greeted. My wife and I are delighted that not only can we support a fantastic local business, but we can also also reward and promote a business that takes it time to make it's customers feel well looked after and happy. I will be back soon and I would suggest you visit too.

It's not often that I rate a butcher quite so high, but Flock & Herd is a neighbourhood gem and deserves the praise. I can definitely recommend the sausages - from lamb merguez to venison and red wine - and the staff are very helpful. Get there early if you want to avoid the queue that arrives around midday.

Love for quality free range dead animals? May I recommend Flock & Herd too []^__^] Personally I've been a supporter of local butchers for some years now, simply because "you are what you eat", which would make me a huge and delicious free range sausage ...[]^__<] wink If you typically buy your dead animals at the usual supermarkets, may I recommend you grab a handful of Flock & Herd meat ...go on, they won't mind ()^__^) However, before crossing their palms with silver, paper or plastic (until they also take Bitcoin's) ...challenge them ...tell the sexy butcher eating your plans, how many humans you're feeding, how you want it cut to make it easier to manage, the best way of cooking you selected meat/s and lastly, if you have canines or (like us) wild cats, ask for some of the scraps/trimmings which is dead easy to cook for your little loved ones. Trust me, they'll be pleased you asked, especially in world where waste is not (or shouldn't be) tolerated {}^__^} Flock & Herd are truly all about the love for quality free range meat, bespoke cuts exactly to your daily needs and not the typical supermarket bulk purchases, which is perfectly chewable, but no where as good as you'd find at Flock & Herd {}O__o}

To rate a butchers is to rate the butcher and Charlie is one of the best. Such a knowledgeable chap and nothing is too much effort even if you want a bespoke cut.
