I have been to Murray Bros butchers a dozen times and usually spend a decent amount of money on a wide array of meat cuts each time. If I want to be really critical, the chorizo sausages were not to our liking, but ... The leg of lamb, lamb steaks, Barnsley chops, ribeye or sirloin steak, minced beaf, pork loins, sausages and chicken thighs/breasts/wings/whole are exquisite in quality and taste. Whatever we tried is absolutely faultless. Don't be deterred by the pre-packaged herbed chicken/lambs - made fresh every day, they fly off the shelves; on a BBQ or in the oven, these cuts are delicious, especially if you make a sauce off the marinade. The brothers and other members of staff are driven to provide an excellent service whilst not breaking the bank in the London area, a welcome attitude in an otherwise fashionably gentrifying city. I will always look forward to my next visit. Keep it up - you deserve all the accolades!

Great fresh meat you can trust, cut to your specification if required and reasonably priced. Plus very friendly staff who are always welcoming and will be patient while you pick and choose from the great selection. Go nowhere else for our meat!!

Best place to buy meat in London. We used to live around the corner, and I miss it. I just googled to see if they deliver. Great chatty staff, great chicken, great mince, beautiful sausages. At Christmas we got a gammon and turkey breast which huge. Please can one of the brothers move to North London?

My daughter Stephanie has gone to the butchers over the years and it's always been such great meat. Their steaks are the best and their three bird roasts!! They are clean, fresh cuts of meat and no butchers like it. Great friendly people too.

Great butchers, Penge is very lucky! Meat is of a high quality, free range and mainly from Kent, and excellent value. Ordered some mini sausages and bacon to make pigs in blankets and when I picked up the order they'd done it for me without me asking. All lovely people too, really can't go wrong.

I've been going there for several years and have never, ever been disappointed with the produce. During my 'Stew 'n' Dumplings Season' (October-March!), I always buy the stewing steak from Murray's and it really does melt in the mouth! The lads are always ready to offer helpful advice on cooking and are often having a sing-song while they work! Wot abaht a bit of Led Zep on a CD player now and again eh?

The BEST STEAKS EVER ! I should know I get them vacuum packed to return to Manchester every other week when I go home. The quality, freshness, taste is outstanding. Customer service here is exceptional and there is nothing the staff wont help you with and the value for money is excellent.
