Reviews of Sowa Restaurant
W. B.
Wonderful restaurant.
I went to Poland some years ago and I can assure that the food here is authentic and delicious. We had two wonderful soups and the mains were great! Good selection of wines. Water comes with mint and lemon, a touch that I loved. Need to go back to try the cocktails and the other items on the menu.
Loved the decorations and the style and the staff is friendly and smiling. For dessert you can order the cakes from the patisserie next to it. A dream.
W. L.
It's hard to be fully objective about this restaurant as for me is sentimental place from my hometown, therefore they offer great quality very Polish food , full of passion and flavour you can only meet in your mother cuisine.. If you not polish and feeling to discover our traditions and our food , this place is probably one of the best. Make sure you try their incredible ice creams and cakes and pies as they're INSANE ❤❤ make sure you save some space in your stomach for this treats 🤤
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff always happy to help

You don’t have to go Poland to try polish food - it’s here!
I had a perfect, well seasoned stake tartare. For the main: delicious potato pancakes with a little bit of twist - caviar.
They have really good selection of wines and beers and their desserts… are so good! I didn’t have chance to take a picture as it was gone within seconds ;)

Beautiful Polish restaurant. Very friendly and professional stuff. Very good quality food. Great place to visit with friends and family. Highly recommend.
J. G.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a lady that have made the dumplings 🥟!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the overall food
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for service, why: it was very Polish oriented and I’ve felt I was treated like I was 12 years old kid. Was good, but there is a Room for improvement.
C. B.
Brilliant food, perfectly presented and tasty as hell. Love the modern twist on classic Polish dishes. The waitresses were awesome too, really attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back!
D. V.
Brilliant! I went to this restaurant with some friends. The atmosphere is very cosy and classy at the same time. The staff was very professional and pleasant. As a starter, I had the meat dumplings. The portion is huge and it is very tasty. The main was also delicious. I recommand the pork cutlet and the purée. Authentic and homemade food for sure. Prices are very decent regarding the quality of this place.
K. O.
Amazing experience, excellent customer service, I felt relaxed and really taken care of. Food was delicious and well presented. Traditional Polish cuisine with modern twist, potato cakes and tartare steak were one of my favourites. Reasonable pricing.
B. S.
The best restaurant in London, delicious polish cuisine, a duck from the oven was just like my Mama would cook and them pierogi with different fillings are as good as my Grandmother would make, yummy and delicious plus them all different cakes, im speechless, best cheese cake, sernik babuni, i have ever tried, plus you won't find better ice-cream anywhere in the world, plus the friendly and professional service, highly recommend
D. M.
Delicious Polish food and very nice service
V. M.
Traditional polish cuisine, very tasty beautifully presented food.
Resonable prices.

Organised my graduation party here. The whole experience was amazing, really great food, served beautifully, really friendly and kind service. Staff really took it upon themselves to make the evening special and added lovely decorations. Wide choice for the menu and received a personalised cake. Thank you!!!
D. K.
Great Polish food in a nice atmosphere. It is rather busy at all times so do book a table beforehand. We had a goose confit with red cabbage salad and potato dumplings. Very good quality and nicely served. The only complaint, if any, is that the food was a bit more tepid than I like. Overall good service and value for money. I'm Polish and I'm happy to recommend this place :)
D. G.
One if the nicest Polish restaurant in the West Side of London, the duck pork and dumplings are to die for also the deserts are delicious.
Atmosphere is also very good, the lack of parking nearby and toilets leaves it with 4 stars.
A. M.
I cannot imagine a better place to i troduce someone to Polish cuisine than Sowa Restaurant. This was our first time dining here and for sure we are coming back as soon as it’s reopened.
Many compliments to a very friendly and not overbearing staff, they seemed relaxed and with restuarant full of guests, in controll of everything. Service charge is not included, so don’t forget to leave a tip!
We were truly impressed with food and its presentation. I was expected rustic intake on how dishes would be presented, but i couldn’t be more wrong. Loved the colours, flavours and generous food portions.
The only small let down were dumplings. I guess because i am Polish and no one can top my Mum’s Pierogi making skills. Also we were super full by the time we got to that dish.
We’ve ordered selection, sauerkraut & mushroom, cheese & potato, meat. They were all generous with filling, but apart from cabbage & mushroom, not to my taste.
We also shared ice cream dessert and finished the evening with shot of Wyborowa.
All said, we are coming back!
J. W.
Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal, a perfect introduction into Polish cusine. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Love this place and will continue to visit.
A. K.
Propably the best dumplings in London 🍽hand made in front of customer
Highly recommend this restaurant 🥟🥟
P. I.
Deli food, pleasant interior with atmosphere and lovely staff. They were happy and flexible to make non- alcoholic drink for my friend, and that was out of menu thing, so always appreciate small things like these. My favourite polish place in London and I don't even live nearby.
Thank you- back again for Christmas dinner with more friends along:)
A. S.
The food is great but the cakes and desserts are amazing! The service is nice and dumplings - pierogi are always freshly made. Our favourite Polish Restaurant in London.
L. “. R.
Great portion sizes, great value for money. Tasty and great quality food with lots of elements. Top menu! I was sad to hear that the deserts were not made locally.
E. K.
Delicious food! Amazing atmosphere! Good, friendly and profesional service!
B. M.
Fantastic Polish food and service with a smile. Been there many times and always enjoy it. Revisit yesterday and must say food wasn't that good like always, wine list change and prices go up. Will back again and will see if the food is back to normal.
I. I.
Sowa restaurant has got the best food in Ealing . The potato rosti and cauliflower soup is the best.. The staff is lovely ,Victoria and Claudia are fantastic plus the other staff Me and my frends can’t wait to go…
A. W.
Last Saturday I went to Sowa restaurant with my English friend. The food was super So delicious Not just the presentation but the combination of the taste was unique I definitely would say that Sowa is the best restaurant in Ealing. Wow the pudding is delicious too soo good 😊 Thank you for a lovely service too
T. K.
The food was 10 out of 10! Really good home food! and the desert even better! very friendly and helpful staff! the menu is both in Polish and English!
P. C.
Amazing food and great service. We love the pierogis, so fresh soft and delicious. The cakes and pastries are amazing. Must visit this hidden gem !
V. K.
Nicely presented traditional Polish food. Great for a date dinner. Friendly service. Menu in Polish and English.
P. M.
Apparently the Chief find some other place to work so they downsize the menu except this evening is still very tasty.
C. W.
Great value. Beautiful food. Fantastic service.
The half duck was almost too much meat for one person, with lovely sides. Cant complain about anything
T. C.
My first experience of eating at a Polish restaurant, and definitely won't be my last! Food was beautifully presented and had lots of flavour. Particularly liked the wild boar, duck and selection of pierogi (dumplings) . A huge bonus is the Sowa patisserie attached to the restaurant. We were definitely spoilt for choice with so many cakes and desserts on display. So we ended up ordering some extra to takeaway with us. Can't wait to come back.
L. R.
A very calm restaurant with authentic fresh Polish food. Very popular with Ealing's Polish community. Friendly and attentive staff.
B. S.
The food was totally amazing for a very reasonable price, they also have an open kitchen where the lady is making dumplings in front of the guests! I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like a great Eastern European dining experience in a pleasant atmosphere!
D. T.
Great food and attentive staff. Prices were quite reasonable and the desserts were superb as there's a patisserie next to it. Wouldn't hesitate to return again soon!
L. R.
Had the pierogi, pork knuckle, then truffles and praline with cheesecake. What fantastic home cooked meals. !! Very impressed on my first visit. Cute, local, down to earth yet romantic for a date. Great little touch: There’s a lady making the pierogi pastry in the dining area
E. J. P.
You can't go wrong. This is our favorite polish restaurant. Authentic polish food; great presentation; generous servings and reasonably priced.
M. S.
Delicious creative polish food. Little fancy but only for the neighbourhoods standard. Soup under £5 dumplings under £10. Was very happy with this choice. Will come again to try the cakes!
R. D.
We tried the cakes and it was not bad. Good portion and good price, I would go again to try more cakes
B. W.
I am French but was treated to a delicious Polish meal by some very nice friends. It was a great experience
A. W.
Good food and a classy atmosphere. You can watch the sous chefs making the pyrogis as you eat.
G. Z.
The tartar is one of the best I’ve eaten. The goose is amazing and the wild boar stew is a must!! The dishes are really well presented and the care that is put into the food is obvious. The cakes follow the same quality level. And on top of that, really good service! Highly recommended.
H.
Great food and friendly staff
M. B.
Quite refined venue and sofisticated decor. The service was very good and the food was nicely presented and very tasty. Cakes and deserts were also fantastic. I'll be back.
T. A.
Amazing food, nice staff ,definitely I will be back.
S. K.
It’s almost 2 years we keep celebrating in sowa our family events. And I always go there to eat the daily set menù after a bit of shopping sprint.
H.
Great food and service. Traditional Polish food but with a modern twist.
H.
Absolutely 11/10. Couldn't recommend higher. The standard of food is out of this world. Best steak tartare I have ever eaten! GO.
A. K.
Very good fresh, home made cakes looking nicely. Food in the restaurant is fresh and delicious.
b.
Really enjoyed the good and friendly staff. I would recommend the placki with salmon.
C. A.
It's ok-ish. Although the menu isn't very extensive. They basically serve polish food: cakes, sandwiches, etc. Cakes are tasty and indoor is very well decorated.
R. K.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Can’t fault anything. Service was also excellent. Ordered a few starters - goats cheese salad is a must, a selection of the dumplings - which were excellent and the duck main. Then had a selection of cakes. Everything was yummy - would 100% recommend this place for a dinner when in Ealing.
R. W.
Lovely cakes and tasty food. Both restaurant and cake shop serves best quality food.
R. W.
Spotlessly clean restaurant, with delicious fresh food. Great coffee as well
M. S.
Beautiful food, friendly staff. Just perfect. Highly recommended!
T. P.
A swish coffee shop/patisserie and restaurant which has clearly won over a far bigger crowd than merely the expected Polish clientele.
Much to recommend in terms of the selection of cakes and very good coffee but if you're tired of being dragged to certain well-know High Street coffee chains by your little ones in their quest for a hot chocolate, take them here for a change - its possibly one of the best hot chocolates I tried in a long time.
Oh, and if coming by car there is a convenient car park hidden behind the shops on the same road. A parking spaces outside are either for blue-badge holders of for loading and unloading.
w. p.
One of the best dining experiences in a long time. Great, relaxed atmosphere, amazing polish food, friendly and helpful staff members.
M. M.
Great polish restaurant excellent food great customer service
M. G.
Amazing food, friendly staff!!
S. L.
Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and decor. This place is great for lunch and dinner, and it has a nice selection of dishes, however it does lack vegetarian options. It is also joined with a lovely patisserie with the most amazing cakes and other sweets. We've picked this restaurant three times to celebrate my birthday, as it's just so convenient to buy a lovely birthday cake from the patisserie and enjoy a nice lunch/dinner and a coffee. I could not recommend this place enough!
P. H.
Very pleasant place to have some of the finest polish dishes. Well recommended. To start with we choose sour soup, which was served in a very presentable way and it tasted even better than expected. We tried the beef rolls- beautifully cook, served with dumplings. That was very delicious dinner and we will definitely come back to try some more.
F. L.
Quality food! Affordable! Good service! Great palce!
G. R.
Very good food.
I. L.
Always have an amazing meal at Sowa. Service is prompt and very friendly. Absolutely recommended!

A friend took us here, since we wanted to try his native cuisine. And what a treat!!! Started out with Polish Beers and Czech lager with our first course, 3 different kinds of dumplings and loved them all! Next up Blini, Steak Tatar, and Goat Cheese salad -- all of it so delicious!
D. K.
First time visiting this restaurant. Just turned up hoping to be part of 'eat out to help out' scheme. They did ask about booking (probably best to book) however kindly arranged a table for 3 in 5min. Good ambience and added benefit of buying a cake of your choice from the attached pattiserrie. Good size portions very filling. Liked the kozel beer.

This was my first time to eat in Polish restaurants and it was good. The place is very cozy and nice. Food is absolutely fantastic! All we tried tasted very, very well. Have on mind that portions are quite big. Staffs are nice. Only thing that I have found maybe a little inappropriate is that they are assuming that all their guests are Polish, so they talked to us in Polish and we got Polish menu.
j. L.
Good atmosphere and delicious food. Would recommend to anyone. I will visit this place again.
D. A.
Excellent set lunch and service and good value.
C. M.
The food here is amazing 🤩🤩 the best restaurant with the best atmosphere!!!!
P. P.
Cozy place, good atmosphere, quick and friendly staff, great polish food and drinks.
We booked this restaurant for Saturday afternoon/evening for my dad’s birthday and we all were delighted with the food and the services we had received. Some of my international friends experience how the real polish pierogi have been made by ladies behind the counter.
Highly recommendable place if you want taste some great polish food without going to Poland
M. F.
A really good restaurant and a delightful place to meet friends and enjoy delicious food or just have cake and coffee. The seating is very comfortable, lovely decor and great service.
G. D.
I have been told that Sowa is a trendy Polish restaurant... because I am Polish I can only say that it is traditional Polish restaurant with lack of modern twist and all bad habits....typical. maybe this is purposely done this way to show our culture?
Food was ok . Hair in one dish was a bit of a downer
... oh and I am really not interested in waitresses life stories , keep it for yourself
A. W.
Great food and atmosphere!!! And there is a lady making 'pierogies' fresh as you wait for it!
R. S.
Real authentic Polish food and my favourite apple pie with custard vanilla and ice cream and let's not forget polish beer.
J. G.
fantastic service and friendly staff as well as aircon!!! awesome when eating cakes... and they were delicious too
E. S.
Very friendly place with tasty, fresh traditional Polish food. However, a mark down for such a tiny portions and a little overpriced too. Left £160 for 2 ppl (3 course dishes) I always rembered this place serving delicious food, but unfortunately the size of portions shrank down a lot, and dish prices went up significantly. Therefore I won't be visiting as often I would like to...
A. L.
Very nice Polish food. Good sized portions are served here. Smart decor. Polite and helpful staff. Not cheap, but ideal for special occasions. Definitely worth a visit for a quality evening meal.
J. R.
Very clean interior, professional respectful service and great main menu - starts after 3pm .
My favourite are pierogi and Barszcz soup . You can ask for mashed potatoes to go with it. Delicious.
P. P.
Possibly the best polish food I had in London
A. B.
We had dinner yesterday evening and had a superb experience. The food was great, the staff were very friendly, nice interior and a great atmosphere. We all chose something different and everybody was genuinely happy with their choice. Although the portions are more than sufficient we managed to squeeze in a dessert from the patisserie which is based on the same premises. We will definitely will come back again. This restaurant sets a new standard for dinning in Ealing.
M. B.
I would like to say that I love this place a lot.
Food, people, cakes, ambient - everything is great. I always recommend to all my friends and family to must go there. If you like trying different cousins and you have not tried Polish Food yet. Don't hesitate. All the Menu is in English and everyone there speak English too. All the cakes are delicious.
Well done Sowa!!!.There are many proud Polish people to Recommend your lovely place as a one of the best Polish Restaurant in London. Very happy customer :-)
R. K.
Best polish food I had in London. And I have tried a lot of polish restaurants in UK. Very decent. After dinner dessert is a must. Tried cheescake and apple pie. It tastes like homemade. Great product. Nice place. Nice service. Will pop in again for sure.
A. G.
Went there once a couple of days ago without expecting much... and was blown away. This is michelin-star grade food. Each and every single ingredient was cooked to perfection. The meat was melting like butter, the vegetables full of colour, texture and taste. The staff was adorable. I need to go back to make sure it wasn't all just a dream.
L. K.
Excellent food at good price.great value for money. Polish classics served there
D. S.
Polish Pierogi with meat and Russian pierogi are the best!
E. J.
Sophisticated Polish cuisine and fabulous cakes and desserts to eat in our take away. Fairly priced with nicer service. Highly recommended!
A. B.
Went with my friend for her to have a nice polish meal and I must say they delivered!
Not cheap, bit good value for money, food was fast and you can tell it is homemade.
Great service as well, very caring. Love the english and polish menu cards and bilingual service at the table!
I'll be back with the rest of my british friends :D
K. H.
Food was fab as usual, fun crew working there makes it so much better an experience. We had steak tartare, a must, and then pierogi, beef roulade, duck, another must, and different soups. All was yummy though the beetroot soup could have been richer, came a bit flat. But overall, great and will be back this weekend again!

I had a company Christmas party at Sowa last December and that was the best choice I could make. Very good party organisation all as requested and expected. Really nice place, tasty food and very friendly service. I will be back for sure. Highly recommended for large parties and family dinners.
E. N.
We have been twice. Traditional polish food on offer and everything has been delicious. The dumplings, or pierogi, are very filling so bear that in mind when ordering. You can choose your dessert from the adjoining cafe next door if you like. You can watch the dumplings and noodles being made too.
T.
Excellent place, great staff and amazing polish food!
K. R.
Great restaurant and cafe. Wonderful desserts and cakes and really well cooked food which is reasonably priced and filling. Happily make this place my local. If you order cakes make sure you give plenty of notice - about 2 weeks is plenty.
H. K.
Delicious food, copious portions, friendly staff. We dine here very regularly. In Poland, Sowa is famous for its pastries. In Ealing, we love the starters and mains! A fabulous experience.
D. B.
Lunchtime special is the thing to go for. Always good quality, well presented and often an unusual soup starter.
Our go to place for work treats birthdays etc
Excellent value.
B. R.
Amazing cakes and food . We was invited by our polish friends and we couldn’t believe how food is delicious. Highly recommended to everyone. 5 start is not enough but we can’t give more
K. C.
Smacznie i niedrogo...ardzo dobra oferta na lunch..
Best polish food I had in London. And I have tried a lot of polish restaurants in UK. Very decent. After dinner dessert is a must. Tried cheescake (sernik) and apple pie. It tastes like homemade. Great product. Nice place. Good service. Will pop in again for sure.

This place is awesome! We have been here several times in small groups and have celebrated some big life events. The staff are great and the food is excellent. The patisserie is also fantastic and serves by the portion as well as to order.
A. K.
Amazing presentation a d delicious food.
S. D.
My wife and I have been here a few times. Great polish restaurant. Nice traditional food, well presented and tasty. Really warm service.
M. R.
Very enjoyed it. They serve very good polish food. I recommend goose meat pierogi. The place looks more upscaled than a typical polish restaurant found in the UK and serve much more than the traditional polish foods, also great choice of desserts, coffees and teas as their cafe is just next door.
If you are fan of pierogi definitely go there, you can also see how they are made as the person who makes them is on 'display'.
I like the modern and tasteful interior and lovely staff. Menus both in Polish and English, price wise good value for money.
M. O.
Good polish food. The menu seems to be so.e fusion variation of polish food. But generally good quality. Cheese cake was a bit too fluffy. Lacked the density of a proper home made polish cake. Otherwise the pastries are ok.
V. L.
The BEST cake place in London. A must try. Gorgeous decor, cosy quiet seating upstairs, wide selection, high quality and friendly service. Sit in or takeaway. Traditional Polish and world-wide desserts. Satisfaction guaranteed.
S. P.
I had a business meeting over lunch in the restaurant, as I wanted to introduce my clients to Polish cusine. The food was excellent and it was a great choice. My clients were very impressed and greatly enjoyed the dining experience provided by Sowa. I will happily recommend it to anyone who appreciates nice service and lovely ambience. I will most definitely return to this place with my friends and family.
H. B.
Very nice place and delish food.
Fine dining, very fancy. The staff is happy to help, polite and professional.
I ll visit again, definitely.
E. C.
Nice and cosy polish bakery and restaurant
K. K.
Very good food 10 out of 10 for our today lunch. Will be back for sure and recommend 100%.
Very nice waiters. Thank you guys for a grate time 😁
런.
nice Polish cake shop and coffee is very nice well.
H. K.
Gourmet standard Polish food. Absolutely delicious although everything very rich and flavoursome - almost too much so!
Prices reasonable.
Only problem - no Polish beer! Only Czech?!
S. S.
Only been here once but it's clean with good service. The Wild Boar Pierogi with Mushrooms was really good and the cheesecake was excellent. Not the cheapest place but I guess you get what you pay for.
Would go here again for sure.
D. N.
Fantastic food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. One thing baffled me though. They had NO polish beer. I'd much rather have a Tyskie with my pierogi than the overrated Czech lagers on offer. But again, AMAZING food.
P. B.
Nice place to go for lunch. I liked the polish lady making pierogis LIVE at the counter.
But that was pretty much it.
I was impressed with the way the food was presented on the plate but it was flavourless..
We had the chicken breast and the schnitzel, it wasn't anything special. The soups were good, small in size, great as a starter.
Service was ok. A bit scared and not confident enough.
Prices were good, starter with the main ranges between 15-20£.
I think it would be better if they had proper cotton/linen napkins than those napkin-looking pieces of paper hidden somewhere with the cutlery set..
Restaurant was full on Sunday but I assume it was because they have recently opened. Can't find other reasons.. I have been to other polish restaurant and this isn't even in my top 5.
Atmosphere? I wonder why polish people sometimes whisper over their meals like we're scared of misbehaving. I guess they must get rid of that habit and enjoy theirselves more, loosen up!
3/5! (Room for improvement!)
d. c.
The food and the pastry is amazing but the service just takes forever.
h.
I love thise place. The food delicious. The restront is very neat and tidy.
C. E.
Authentic Polish food, freshly cooked, served by charming waitresses in pleasant surroundings. Polish beer, decent wine list with perfectly good house wines. And lots of vodkas.
K. K.
Absolutely amazing. Every single time I'm there service is great, food is so delicious and always nice atmosphere. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back for more cakes and pierogi:)
Ł. K.
Very toasty Polish food and friendly staff
R. Z.
Staff a little bit confused but very friendly. Lady who was service us were serving our drinks to table next to ours, maybe because it was busy on that day ( I've been there on valentines day). The only think was that I've never been offered a dessert after dinner which I really want on that day ;-) that's why I taking 1 star away.
D. A.
Super friendly staff, pierogi made with wild boar pig meat is incredible. The cakes and pastries always a win. I recommend 🦉
J. S.
Very nice place, pleasant staff, amazing food for a great price. The tomato soup and potato pancakes I had today were to die for, just like my mum's! Will definitely be back there! Keep up the good work!
B. P.
Really nice take on polish cuisine. Traditional dishes served in modern way. Really good quality ingredients and nice presentation. Also large selection of cakes and patisserie.
A. I.
There are 38 owls in this restaurant!!!🦉
N. M.
Taken there by friends who had had a v good experience before. However, they felt embarrassed because the borscht was tepid, and one of our main courses had to be taken away to be reheated (which took over 10 minutes and which interrupted our evening) and the heating was clearly turned on on a very cold night. By dessert time, we thought it woukd be better and warmer to have it at home. The table staff were pleasant enough and I've given 3*'s because of the previous experience of my friends.
M. D.
Great cakes and ice cream. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
Y. K.
Went in for a coffee this morning. I just wish the young girl behind the counter could have been more pleasant. No smile, no advice/help with cake choice. Had to apologise to my English friend for unfriendly service. Very disappointed and embarrassed.
G. U.
Fantastic food for all the family. Highly recommended for authentic cuisine with a lovely calming atmosphere and amazing friendly staff.
M. W. (.
Great menu and fantastic waitresses with knowledge. The food presentation 5 stars, the taste vary between good and very good. Very pleased with the prices.
M. P.
Nice Polish restaurant. Good Polish food and friendly staff. Very nice stake tartar not many places still serve those. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
m. l.
Nice food and looooovely selection of Vodkas straight from heart of Europe ;)
P. E.
Perfect and yummy food, nice surroundings, great atmosphere and superb concept of restaurant and cafe altogether, to be honest there is nothing what I could say was a bad experience there. Thanks for the possibility being hosted there.
A. F.
Fabulous polish food, been here many times and everything was great. One of the best places to eat out in Ealing. Check out their chocolates and cakes, handmade and amazing.
J. S.
One of the better polish restaurants in west London, very family friendly, can organise parties in one of the rooms they have. Recommend Zurek, schabowe I pierogi. As they share location with patisserie you can get good selection of deserts and ice cream as well. Also good choice of polish alcohol.
c. d.
If I had to pick ONE place that makes me go, "Wow...I'm really in London" it would be walking on this bridge. It's almost a miracle that the bridge has been positioned in a way where one can view all the major attractions of South Bank and Big Ben to the west and spot all the top skyscrapers, notable monuments and all of further-afield Canary Wharf eastward in one place.
P. P.

I was there for the first time. Was on my lunch so had to be in rush, waitress advised me to take what I would like as I will defenitly make it before my lunch over. Her name was Weronika- very polite smily and professional. I had potato pancakes with pork stew and orange juice it was amazing.
J. K.
Fabulous little restaurant, refreshing and unconventional approach to classical dishes.

SOWA made the most amazing wedding cake for us, which was then inappropriately stored and practically destroyed AT THE VENUE. The ladies from SOWA called us immediately and provided an invaluable help 24 hours before the wedding. I cannot thank you enough! You are not only fantastic at what you do but also how you do it. Wonderful place, highly recommended!
P. W.
Beautiful tasting soups and main courses. Fabulous night out with really pleasant staff too. Can’t wait for our next visit.
A. B.
Meet up with some girlfriend's on Monday afternoon, arranged in advance, to arrive at Sowa and the cupboards are totally bare!!!
No cakes, no ice-cream, were told stocks will be coming on Tuesday, no good for us were here on Monday!
We first sat by entrance downstairs , leading to the cafe upstairs, we were asked to move to restaurant part, which we did, we also had my friends little boy with us, ( so the area we first sat at would have been better suited).
Anyway finally placing our order of coffee, tea and what leftover cake from the weekend, we were waiting for ages, just about to leave it arrived, there was only one girl serving. When we asked for the bill, they had the cheak to add the service charge, no discretion used.
No apology. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!Sowa please take note.
M. O.
Super tasty food and great atmosphere. Waiting staff were friendly. Would recommend and would come back!

The shop front is immaculate and the counters have cakes and patisseries which would fit in a Belgian choclaterie.
Friendly service with a smile and so reasonably priced.
I live treating myself to a snack here. X
