The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and will take the time to advise on the best cuts depending on what you're cooking. The meat is always first class so if you're serious about quality then this is the place for you.

C. P.Delighted to have found this wonderful butchers this year. We go almost every week; the meat (and eggs) are great quality and reasonably priced. The service is always fantastic, you can order in practically any cut/joint/offal if they don’t happen to have it, and they are happy for us to take our own containers, or wrap in butcher’s paper for us to cut down on plastic waste. Also, delicious pies and puddings if you get there early enough. I heartily recommend!

T&J Wenlock is an absolute gem, and no doubt has a loyal customer base. if there is a particular cut of meat you want ask, i am certain that they can get what you want. We have never been disappointed and worth the two mile walk from home.
M. H.Guys here are really polite and knowledgeable, definitely more expensive than a supermarket, but you definitely get a better quality of meat and choice. Try this butchers and I guarantee you'll taste the difference

R. H.Never been to a place like this. Well sourced meat. Cut it right on site. If they're out of a specific cut he grabs the leg or body or whatever and cuts it right in front of you. Delicious, cured bacon. Nice thick cuts of steak. Good little extras like eggs, dripping, organs, bones for making broth.
Couldn't recommend this place enough. Ditched the supermarket, only get my meat here now.
