G. U.We have recently moved to Leighton Buzzard and have been trying to find a decent butcher to rival Kings Farm in Wendover, where we previously shopped. This is it! I bought a variety of items to try. Barnsley lamb chops, rib-eye steak, T-bone, a pork shoulder joint and bacon and sausages. I have been thoroughly impressed with all of the above and cannot fault the quality and taste. My bench mark is pork, as there is a lot of pork you can buy that is just tasteless. The slow cooked shoulder was superb. Yes you pay more for quality, of course you do. But be assured, it is worth it.
C. P.Love this butchers, they are friendly and polite and have a great range of high quality meats from free range animals. We go there pretty much every week now and they never fail to deliver. The food is so much better than what you would get from a supermarket, and still at a fair and reasonable price. They also have a food van outside that serves up cooked bits from the butchers such as bacon butties and ham hocks etc.
