4 stars are only for the gentleman who served us and not the shop itself. It would've been unfair for the shop if we put our stars lower. But, this person serving us was pleasant enough but, he did not listen to what we asked of him and because he did what we asked him not to bother doing, he charged us same price and worded it on our pay slip differently . Not happy as we shop there a lot n spend a lot but also, an item we usually get has been reduced from 4 slices per pack to 3 slices for same price. So either they rethink things and revert back or we go elsewhere and that's not a problem for us. Tried some of their bacon wen we got home and oh no, I did not like it one bit. It's not the taste but it's tough and I couldn't eat the rind. Not cooking it till it burns to eat y would I, but I just couldn't eat it. At the high price of £11.99, you'd think it would be a good batch of bacon. Been happy up till today but I seriously think that we'll be looking for somewhere else from now on. Sorry Palmers, great guys u r but need to sort things out now that you've invested in some proper fridges too. Sorry

Absolutely massive selection of great looking white and red meat. Definitely go here if your after some top quality South African meats and Sausages, Bors are fantastic and some nice dried biltong also, probabbly the best prices of meat in Milton Keynes.

I order my boerwors, steak and dry goods from South Africa from here frequently online, reasonably priced friendly and helpful butchers. The delivery is faultless, £10 yes but overnight and meat is still very cold stored and packed brilliantly. A butchers you can rely on, great produce 👌

An amazing little jewel in the middle of Bletchley High Street. Store is immaculate, clean and easy to navigate. Produce is fresh and prices are affordable. The South African section is amazing and has many tastes from home that are welcome. This will become a regular shopping spot for me.

The best place for meat-Period! Quality butchers with a range of meats including boerwoers, chukka to name a few. Let's just say the quality of meat here, you wouldn't get from Harrods which is evident from the amount of people who travel from London to come here, so you won't be disappointed. Palmers shop next door to the butchers caters to specialist foods from Southern Africa e.g. 🇿🇦 🇿🇼 - a standard specialist shop but l think this shop caters more to the food nostalgia, particularly of southern african individuals.

Mostly good experiences at this butchers. Good quality cheap meat products and veg store. Have had chicken go off after one day in the fridge, probably a good idea to have the expiry date on the packaging. Will be returning...but not for chicken.

I've been a fan of Palmer's the butchers for years and tend to go to them for all my meaty needs. Good service, quality products and friendly staff. Additionally, there isn't much you can't get in there. And what they don't sell, you can order it in.
