There is Supermarket meat and then there is meat from the Turners , if you are looking at a football analogy , you are talking Weymouth FC v Real Madrid. The Turners are not based in Spain but in Tredegar St , Risca , whether you want beef , pork , lamb , burgers , prize winning sausages these butchers deliver on every level , superb quality served by knowledgeable, friendly staff happy to answer any queries about different cuts. A nice selection of poultry and ready meals aswell. Independent business that has been operating for 60 years their longevity testament to their quality and service . Recommended.

As a culinary arts graduate and someone who's worked in the hospitality sector for a few years I can wholeheartedly say these gents know what they're doing and what they're selling is top notch stuff. It's a shame I didn't discover them sooner! The price is very fair, very fair to say the least. 2 homemade dishes below, 2 lean steaks and a top rump steak.
