L. D.I don't get the hype of this place? To me it's cold and uninviting especially compared to the original store down the road. The food is typical stuff you get in the big farm shops and is expensive. I like to go to farm shops that sell local products not the frozen Cook range or stuff that I can buy in a supermarket for a lot less. I get that in winter they may need to use suppliers outside the UK and off island for fruit and veg but not in the summer. It doesn't have a great range of breads and cakes. I know a lot of people love it but I think it's over priced and cold.
The cafe is lovely in summer it's catered more towards the "posh food" market. I personally preferred the cafe in a local garden centre that has a fantastic range of food.
We did love that they still had a huge selection of pumpkins but it wasn't well thought out. I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to carry them to the cash desk from outside especially as it was pouring with rain. Some kind of trolley might have been useful.
From a mobility point of view its good. On a dry day. The floors got quite slippy in the rain.
I am probably biased but I think it's just too cold and not welcoming to me.
L. M.Lovely day spent here, shopping and eating. Outdoor seating will tranquil views. And loads of high end produce from all around the world. But heavy on the wallet but boy what a great treat.
L. A.Can’t fault it, something a bit different & special. Some people are moaning it’s not fully complete yet. Well I personally think that’s ok, it’s a work in progress & you can clearly see they are putting a lot of work in to it. Great staff & lots of them unlike most places. Great coffee, great cake & great food. Free parking. An amazing deli-one of the best I’ve ever seen. Amazing choice of fresh produce, sweet, savoury, alcohol, meats, cheese, sourdough and even frozen loose foods. Such a lovely place. Highly recommended

D. B.Certainly a lovely place for a coffee and cake and maybe a roll. The decor looks really nice, clean, crisp and contemporary. Nice areas outside for walking around and exploring the beautiful countryside. Don't forget to visit the farm shop.

The building is excellent in design and had an amazing array of food to tickle your taste buds and treat yourself with.
The cafe is in a beautiful location, with great views over the fishing lake across the lawn. Coffee is always good and pride is taken in all of the other drinks served too. I would encourage you to go and have a sit, a coffee and enjoy the countryside.
P.Fabulous produce , great coffee. The menu looked great too, will definitely return . We pre ordered stuff from the butcher which was excellent quality.

l. r.Came down first time in April and it was a marvelous place to shop then, but a repeat visit in October has showed how far you have come since across the road at the Barns. Brilliant food and drinks, the best hot chocolate my grandchildren have ever had and i highly approve of your Quiche!
Can't wait to do another visit when it will be warm to sit outside near the river and have a luxurious time.
