Lovely new cafe there now. We had a tea/ coffee, and the food and cakes were really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the prices in the shop were expensive but some were reasonably priced, there were lots of unique and different things to buy. I'd definitely go again.

Seen the Farm Shop being advertised on national television. The farm shop is very popular with people of all ages. There are two car parks close by with disabled parking just outside. They also have a Cafe area with sheltered outside space and two unisex toilets. The actual shop is quite large in size and shopping trolleys as well as baskets can be used to shop. They sell fruit, vegetables, a wide variety of frozen foods, environmental friendly cleaning materials, vegan, veggie and gluten free foods, delicatessen counter, cheese varieties, fresh meats, cakes, bread and many more plus animal section with dog treats and other animal accessories. Wow it was amazing and we will be back very soon. Can definitely recommend.

First visit today, and I will certainly be visiting again. There is ample parking (gravel) a little awkward for anyone with wheels but accessible. The cafe is clean, bright and airy and plenty of space. The shop is well stocked with a lot of locally sourced items. You could easily do your full weekly shop there (on this occasion I did) The butcher has a exceptionally good selection of meats and pies. In fact the whole shop has. The staff in the cafe and shop were equally helpful. I did not check out the bathroom facilities on this visit. I will make an edit when I do. But over all I would suggest you visit for yourself even if only for a coffee. It's nice relaxing looking out over fields and farm buildings. A great find.

I have not been to Smith's Farm Shop for many years. But the difference is amazing. Much larger; and the cheese counter in particular offers some wonderful choices. We bought some excellent bread and some birthday cards! The coffee shop also looks worth a visit the next time we go. Plenty of parking space as well.

Really good selection of fresh produce, frozen and prepackaged grocery supplies; butchery and cheese counter were well stocked. Even have raw pet food and high quality dog treats. The coffee (with a saucer) was super and the sandwiches and quiche tasty.

We popped in on the way home from few days away. We always try to find a farm shop. Today we really scored. It's a farm shop, but you could really call it your local green grocers. It has a wide range of food. I was gutted that we wouldn't be able to get all the wonderful array of frozen pies, fruits, vegetables etc home before defrosting ☹️😮😲😭😭 They also have a great range of their version of prepacked goods in reusable plastic tubs. There was rice, banana chips, dried fruit, I brought dried pineapple pieces. They also did the same with loose sweets. Extremely impressed that the prices weren't over inflated. If you're in the area, please give it a visit and bring you're wallet/purse 😉😁😁

Recently purchased: mango for 95p that was completely brown like bruising and inedible inside. Conference pears that won’t start to ripen after a week in the warm, probably because they have been picked too early without enough enzyme. A jar of Drivers Pickled onions which are so sour they are inedible. ( The previous brand stocked here were great) The jar contains no pickling spice just this awful flavoured vinegar. Sorry I’ve had good stuff from here but this is three misses in two shops here.

This is a great shop, wonderfully varied choice and great quality. Some things can be a bit pricy but you can be sure the quality will be good so worth paying out. The only reservation during the latter stages of the lockdown is the amount of people in the shop at any one time is high and some people still won't wear masks and can crowd other shoppers but overall fantastic shop. Please go and check for yourselves.

But think Smiths should just keep the Farm shop going and maybe turn the cafe into an arts and crafts space for local crafters and Artists ??? much needed.

My wife swears by this place so today I went along with her to see what all the fuss is about and had my eyes opened for me! Fantastic experience! They literally had everything you could possibly need foodwise with some brands I'd never even seen before and others that I haven't seen outside Scotland! Bit more expensive than your high street supermarkets but not by much.and the plus side is you're keeping a local business open and giving local farmers an outlet for their produce!

Great shop with friendly helpful staff. Terrific range of food with fresh high quality local meat, dairy,fruit and veg. Wide selection of pet foods and goods from dogs to horses. Fresh herbs and boxed spices, the variety of food available is fabulous. Small selection of hot food to take away. Good sized car park with spaces close to the entrance. Very accessible with everything on one level. Fresh fish van once a week and in December fresh turkey and Christmas trees available.

This is a great farm shop with diverse produce and lovely atmosphere. I got my Christmas tree from here as well, and they have pastry, meat and fruits. It gets 4 stars from me as the sea food seemed old and frozen, and was in the same fridge with some pastry products, and the cross contamination and fishy taste would ruin the products. Also high priced and some products are just better looking versions of mass produced goods, but if you can spot the jems, this place is amazing. Service at the shop is also great. Strongly recommend.

Always exceptional great that Sauls Butchers have their own stall within the farm shop it has been so enjoyable seeing how the store has developed in the 20-30 years my family have been going. Love the red tractor the kids used to climb as toddlers( they are 21 and 22 now). Top marks top products & a top favourite. If you haven't been there for a while it's a definite must go and if your looking for reliable produce look no further.

Decent farmshop, local produce en masse. Bit disappointed if the lack of game in the freezer counters... I appreciate that it wasn't hunting season but it is frozen goods. Had a handful of slabs of Ribeye from the in store butchers... Could have been first class if the cuts were even and not slanting but then again I could have said something. I will most likely revisit in hunting season.
