A. L.Good butchers I've mainly only ever used the hot food section but it's very nice and reasonably priced portion sizes are not that of archers but still enough to please your appetite!
T. W.Got some fantastic beef ribs yesterday and cooked them today. Very knowledgeable butcher, very helpful. Too quality meats and their hot lunch rolls are awesome. If you're passing buy, do yourself a favour and drop in!

This time apart from the superb chicken and pork I bought a tray of faggots.
Being an officianado of faggots, and a true follower of Brains, I gave them a try.
Biblical, in 48 years of eating faggots, these were the best, by a country mile. I shall be making a special 'pilgrimage' very soon. Thankyou.
l. d.Great produce, lovely lovely people. Me and mine would not go anywhere else for our meats, and also for the regular baguette. Genuinely cannot understand the negative comments, me and mine have been weekly regular customers for near on twenty years, and have had nothing but a very pleasing happy experience. I can only hope in these times of the decline in the staple local shops, this gem does not go the same way. Keep up keeping up, wonderful job all round!!
