A very small setting for a larger than life butcher. Always friendly, and giving advice as well as good quality product at competitive prices. Due to the size of the premises, not the largest selection for your eyes, but all you have to do is ask what he has, and how you want it prepared, the selections is excellent and he will bring out from the back what you need. as others have said, Michael only takes cash, so make sure you don't get caught out. Products he buys from high quality suppliers that I feel need a mention - Black pudding - best I have had in many many years, dry cure bacon - whoever he buys it from, I now rarely purchase bacon anywhere else, Biltong - simply outstanding! Treacle bacon - sweet cured bacon with black treacle - hand cut and always top notch, and finally, his black pepper sausages, unlike many larger butchers, Michael does not have a massive selection of different types and recipes, but this one is a favourite of mine

I’ve been using Michael for years because his meat is delicious & I trust he gets it from quality suppliers. Michael is knowledgeable and extremely friendly, knowing all of his regulars names. He is old-School (be sure to take cash) but always on hand to provide information and tips if you are a cooking novice like myself. Can’t recommend this butcher highly enough...I never get my meat anywhere else!

Super friendly customer service and lovely products. The owner is a very pleasant man that is willing to answer every question. One of the few sources of South African meats such as Biltong, Boerewors and Droëwors in Norwich :)

Nice bloke, terrible jokes, great meat! My fry-ups now MUST have Smoked Bacon and Sausages from here, never again from a Supermarket! Beef is great, Lamb is great and the Chicken Breasts are huge and, most importantly, STAY huge when cooked! Duck Eggs, Black Pudding, Droewors and Biltong also available here at good price and very, very tasty.
