Discovered this little gem 20 years ago while wondering in the street of Oxford. The shop is always spotless, the meat is of the highest quality with a super friendly service. The merguez sausages are to die for. And believe it or not, despite what a lot of people say, not only it is the best place to buy your halal meat but it is also the cheapest . Very highly recommended.

This is an absolute Aladdin's cave, packed with a myriad of interesting and useful ingredients. The butcher's counter sells wonderfully fresh meat and the wonderful Sharon is always on hand to help with enquiries and advice when it comes to the more obscure products.

Have been using Maroc Deli for nearly 10 years for home and restaurant shopping. Always have the finest quality meat and fantastic value for what they are offering. Fresh olives, bread and sweets are also very good. The owners are lovely and charming and the customer service is exemplary.

Great fresh produce, especially tomatoes and aubergines - and a nice way to buy veg without the yards of plastic wrapping you get in Saino's. The people who run it are good fun, too! (Ignore the negative comments - come for the harissa, stay for the banter)

By far the best halal butchers in Oxford. Always fresh lean meat of good quality unlike.

Excellent hygiene, great butchers, good quality poultry, lamb, beef, sausages. Run by a Moroccan gent and his English wife - lovely couple. Big range of other food and spices. I tend to buy fresh olives, olive oil, breads and naans, frozen food and sweets on my trips here. You must try the spicy sausages that they make freshly in store.

The most AMAZING bell peppers in Oxfordshire, and lots of good components of Middle East dishes. Great makanek sausages. I think many people in Oxford are pleasantly eccentric, you can even get your authentic tagine here.
