The best job. I started at bens at 16 for just a weekend job to earn some pocket money and I ended up staying for three and a half years. The job itself is good but the staff are the best. If you apply you will meet the most lovely people. The managers are lovely too and will never give you a hard time. I don’t know if I’ll ever have a manager this good again! I will miss working here and would recommend this job to anyone!

Lovely food with organic fruit and vegetables. Nice cafe but check opening times as they are shorter than the shop. Lost a star because it's very expensive.

I didn’t like the cafée. I ordered a coffee and a orange juice, which was artificially enhanced with iron which was disgusting. The shop were alright but it was last updated in 1788. Unfortunately the lemonade were disgusting and the cashier dropped the bottles! Overall, find but don’t visit the cafe Sincerely, Sharon Garcia

This place is pretty much mirror images saltash farm shop . Could do with more lights on the entrance by the tills and the butchers counter. The price board for the cafeteria is around by the toilets wrong place located it is. The toilet needed a bloody good clean the table was all sticky due to lack of cleanliness. Coffee was a bit overpriced. This place has got so much potential to it it’s right under the nose and they can’t see it but the only people I can afford to shop here are the only residents who are pretty much and must be minted To pay the prices.

Great old fashioned farm shop with truly local farmers produce. Super range and also a Pick Your Own area. Staff are ever so friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking and grassy areas to eat your pickings

Really good range of products available here. They even state origin for the fruit and veg which was a big plus for me. Some of it was on the pricey side for me personally. However you get what you pay for, and I think there is nothing better than knowing it's organic and grown in the UK with barley any travel miles.

Visited the cafe today. COVID controls in place were good compared to other local eateries. Hand sanitiser available, QR codes for track and trace registration, staff wearing visors which seems rare in Devon. If you are looking for a light lunch then It’s a simple style food outlet. The choice and quality is good. Reasonably priced and staff are friendly. Plenty of parking on site.

All the staff are more than helpful,always good things to buy,fresh,frozen, or 'cupboard' goods,great vegetables. My go to place for most things. Can't really fault it,even during a Pandemic they work diligently to supply most needs.

5 stars from me. I particularly like the plain scones, the waitress told they don’t serve the plain scones to riff raff. They instead sell the inferior fruit scones , this stops riff raff returning and polluting Bens shop. I’m surprised I got the plain scones as I’m a vagrant and sleep in a nearby bus stop.

The best local shop for quality vegetables and a lot of organic and local choices of different kinds of food Nice café as well.

OK, it's generally expensive here. However, quality is fantastic. Fruit and vegetables are organic and mainly from local farms. The meat truly is amazing albeit, expensive! Again, the meat is locally sourced. There is a large pick your own fruit and veg section in fields out the back. This is naturally seasonal so don't expect it to be open all year. There is a nice cafe inside. Free parking on site.

Overpriced! The tattooed bald head butcher cant see the difference between chicken breast and thigh. When I noticed at home took it back next morning. It was couple of hours out of fridge. The butcher put it back to the shelf streighs away. (It was fresh meat) its not to hygienic... Other people are very nice in the shop.

If you want a farm shop with great local produce. This is the place to go. They also have a great cafe that does breakfasts/ lunch and various deli selections. However, if you're shopping on a budget I wouldn't recommend here.

It's a great shop the service is excellent and the people are friendly and very helpful...it's a nice place too go if you want a coffee n a snack....it's quite expensive but top quality guess if you want top quality then you have too pay for it :-)
