L. J.We visited Woods farm shop today for the first time and it certainly didn't disappoint. Excellent range of veg and salad produce together with extensive meat counter. We were made to feel welcome and valued as soon as we entered the shop. Even offered a sample of homemade scones, which were delicious and I needed to buy!! Amongst our purchases was a pork pie which looked homemade. So tonight for tea we shared one with some salad. We have never tasted anything like it, it was delicious. The pastry was lovely, crisp and not too thick. But the pork was out of this world, it was how pork should taste, just like the old days before preservatives and additives. On this basis we can't wait to try the bacon and pork also purchased. Next time we shall buy the sausage based purely on the pie tonight. Thank you so much. We will be back again soon. Can't recommend you highly enough.
T. M.The number one place for fresh meat, veg, dessert and pies. Especially the chicken bombs, Bombay swirls and steak and mushroom pies. Even the popcorn is really tasty. Meat lasts way longer than supermarket stuff and you can taste the difference. Affordable prices as well! Danny and all the team are friendly and chatty, service with a smile.

A. R.This is a must go to place for fresh fruit and veg and meat. They have one of the finest butchers I have ever met. A guy called Dave Shawforth runs the stall and with a great sense of pride and passion and he definitely delivers top quality meat. This place is a real hidden gem with an ever increasing reputation for top quality produce.

J. 1.Unbelievably welcoming and friendly staff, the steak is unreal too! The girl behind the counter took all the pottery animals off the display as my toddler was pointing at them and wanted to see them! You don't get service like that or cuts of meat so good in any supermarket I've ever been. 10/10.
