I would recommend this place during the summer months to pick your own strawberries. It has some other types of fruit and vegetables but strawberry is my favourite one. There is a small shop for some local products which is worth visiting.

Strawberry, rhubarb, gooseberry, sugar snap and more, where you pay by the weight you picked! Great fun and excellent prices. Me and the wife had a really great time and we picked enough strawberries to be eat our fill AND to make a cracking strawberry syrup - strawberry daiquiri's anyone? :D

Our family enjoyed picking pumpkins when it was halloween time. Also when it's summer pickwell farm had a very delicious strawberries.

Me and my son came upon this little gem of a farm shop by pot luck and now we pop here all the time. We were heading somewhere for the day and while we were driving along, I saw a sign post for the farm and thought why not go have a look. Needless to say I'm glad we did, what a lovely place it is. Fields of freshly grown produce to hand pick yourself, gooseberries, rhubarb, broad bean's, snap peas, etc and of course strawberries! All at very good quality and price and lots of fun to pick it yourself. The farm shop also has a lovely array of things to buy, from fresh food, bottled fruit juices, gardening equipment, kids bits and bobs, pictures, plants, etc. I could not recommend this place any more highly, you won't be disappointed guaranteed!

I am visiting friends in the UK from the USA. One of their favorite spots is the Pickwell Farm. We stopped in several times for their fruits, veggies, dairy and other fresh items. I especially loved the acres of beautiful flowers and garden plants. What a wonderful place for families to enjoy the seasonal pick-your-own fruits and vegetables for a farm-to-table experience.

Best place for kids and adults who love strawberries. You can pick your strawberries from the field and eat them for free. You will need to pay only for berries that you take home! Best part is that the strawberries we pick here are so sweet and juicy!!!

Great little farm shop, have pick your own here too, strawberries are the thing at the moment it's June. But always a very good variety of fresh produce in the shop plus little niche things, jams etc, premade things like pies. If swing by sure you find something to rustle up for dinner here.

Good Farm shop,not far away from Southampton City Centre - 20 mins driving. Big choice of fruits and veg, plants and seeds. Prices are a bit more expensive then usual shop, but cheaper than other Farm shops. Today you can pick your own rhubarb and beans.

WELLIES USUALLY ESSENTIAL! (For pick your own in autumn) Excellent selection of pumpkins even only a few days before Halloween. From white "ghost" and warty ones to regular orange round ones. Sweetcorn is nice and tasty provided you check them inside the husk. If you go the day after heavy rain though wellies are a must! Saw plenty of trainers abandoned in the mud and people trying to tiptoe round the muddy areas (not really possible!) But when it's been dry for a few days it's not a problem

Enjoyable hour spent at this farm. Plenty of space to park and move around to find the best pumpkin for you. Free entry but you have to pay for every picked pumpkin. Price based on pumpkin size and color (red/white). You save money for the entrance but pretty costly if you decide to have more than a couple of pumpkins in your wheelbarrow.

If you want somthing to do with the kids on a nice day this a good idea I paid £2.89 for a punnet of Strawberrys which picked myself and they tasted great their shop also provides a good variety of fresh fruit and veg at reasonable prices. You can eat while you pick too.

Went pumpkin picking, no trouble parking, there were plenty of wheelbarrows, loads of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, both orange and white, it was not too muddy and reasonably priced. Simple entertainment for a while on a sunny afternoon :-)

Another fabulous local shop. The plants on sale are great quality at reasonable prices with a very large selection. The shop contains craftware, pet supplies and fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables all of a very high standard. Garden supplies or pots, compost supports etc are plentiful and the PYO which is due to start shortly is superb. Sadly missing a cafe or refreshments but regardless a great shop.

Nice small farm shop in edge of big city. Offer some basic gardening tools, seeds, plants. Another part of shop sells vegetables and fruit, jams, honey. I recommend their glass-bottled natural apple juices. At summer time you can pick your products from open field - pumpkins, beans.. And if course main hit for every summer is strawberries.

A great selection of plants and other garden requirements with more to come as the season progresses. The farm shop was full of fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables + a selection of craftware. Highly recommended with good parking. The PYO when ready is also a great time out for the family.

Be prepared to walk to pick your own but its pleasant. Great value for money. Only niggle is the speed bump on the way out, of you're in a small car with small tyres be prepared to hold on tight to your fruit lol.

Fresh farm food,but no cuts of meat. Local home made meal can be found in the freezer's along with frozen fruits. Mainly home made cakes and jams, also fresh fruit and fresh veg. Certain times of the Year pick your own which is great fun to take the little ones out in the field. Flowers and outdoor plants galore, some parts of the shop wheelchair accessible but very limited toilet facilities, no café available. Ample free parking including disabled parking.

I go to check out their crafting lines. Because of covid, I haven't been for a while. The craft lines now mainly consist of crystal crafting and jig saws. The other lines that they used to do are very, very limited. I used to make a 30 mile round trip, but sadly I don't think the journey is worth making. Shame, because it used to be so good.

Love this little shop I've only been in couple of times but staff always friendly and helpful. I observe when ever I'm in there this week I saw a colleague walk up to a lady in a wheelchair obviously a regular customer and strike up a conversation with them and the ladys face lit up keep up the excellent service you provide.

I am giving a 4 only because your shop is too cramped for easy wheelchair access. My husband likes to do his own shopping but here it's not easy to use because of the design and spacing. Your veg is good, seasonal and stays fresh. Your craft shop well stocked. Haven't checked out the plants yet.

It was a joyful place to harvest strawberries, corn and pumpkins with my children. It is very large and spacious with a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. It is also very close to Southampton, making it very convenient for access. In particular, the strawberries were really fresh and sweet.

I've been going to Pickwell farm for a long number of years, I feel very lucky to have this on my doorstep. The owners and staff are so lovely and friendly. Love Pickwell! Local shop, the produce that they grow tastes so nice and I love that they really encourage the pick your own events. Pick your own strawberries is the busiest event of the year. I have to make sure I get there early on the weekend so not to miss out! Staff are friendly and they are willing to help you carry to the car if you've bought so much - like I often do!

Fantastic for going with children. Great experience for all the family, and good for children to see where the food is coming from. All the fields are in good conditions and price is very competitive (vs the supermarket). We have picked strawberries, broad beans, and rhubarb. We always go back.

My favorite farm shop! Great produce, all local, you can really taste the difference than from a supermarket! Pick your own is a treat for the kids. The staff are all friendly and there is ample parking in the free car park, including some good sized disabled bays.

You can also buy Bird foods etc. There is also a craft section with cards you can make yourself stickers . Also a selection of very nice cards that you can purchase there...if you don't feel like making your own...helpful staff always there to help if needed
