Local butcher and deli with great produce. Service and knowledge. This place is a real asset to Swindon. Its so rare to get a butcher who offers that personal service and the will order specific cuts for you. They also have a lovely deli and a little cafe are which is a lovely place for a coffee and a cake.

The addition to the cafe has made this place! The menu is so good, well priced and the food and drinks are so tasty All served in really nice crockery too. This will definitely be my first choice for lunch when in old town! Oh and while I'm in there, I might aswell buy something tasty from the butchers!

A visit to the cafe comes highly recommended. It’s a rare find and is simply a delightful experience.The food, service and atmosphere are exceptional. What I like about this place friendly staff for one if there's something you don't see on the meat or fish counter just ask them and they will get it in if you want something a bit different mate I got you a garlic chicken it's they will make it for you the deli all the pies sausage rolls all the meats again really good it can be a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for well worth a visit

Highly recommend! We had the most delicious fillet steaks for our ‘home steak night’ and they did not disappoint, the quality of the meat was fantastic. Not only is the meat to such a high standard, but you can’t help being tempted by the delicious locally sourced cakes/brownies on display as you walk through the door!

What a lovely gem in Old Town. Small but well presented little food Hall with a small cafe area, serving amazing rustic food options like giant scotch egg varieties, pies, pastry pockets, home made cakes, soups, sandwiches with side salads and crisps. Nice hot and cold drinks too. One of my faves in Old Town 😊

I literally won't buy meat anywhere else if this place is open. The best lamb and beef available anywhere nearby. I don't comment on the chicken or pork because with red meat this good I rarely buy anything else. Also commendably they use minimal safe packaging and you buy just what you need unlike a supermarket. On top of all that they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic place to buy your meat and dairy! The staff are friendly and helpful, always offering good advice. The food is delicious: so far we've tried their sausages, mince, diced beef, sushi grade salmon and tuna and the delicious whole milk - all of this was good quality, fresh and tasty!

I recently purchased 5kg of Cornish mussels for a special lunch party and they were absolutely delicious! They took a bit of scrubbing to clear off the barnacles but it was well worth the effort. No hesitation in thoroughly recommending Wood Street Food Hall. I ordered in advance and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed the excellent mussels for their starter.

I was searching in internet to find a fresh farm milk and found you selling milk directly from farm. The milk is so tasty than any other supermarket while milk cans. But its costly. Have recommended to my colleagues. If the shop is open until 7 pm it will be easy for me to buy after my office hours.my office hours ends by 6pm!! So can you make it till 7pm?

Having had hake in a restaurant, I decided to hace a go homecooking it while visiting my parents. After several fruitless searches in supermarkets, it became obvious that I would have to go to a proper supplier. A 'google' search revealed this was (to my amazement) the only fishmonger in Swindon?!?! It was visually immediately apparent that the quality of fish was of a higher quality than I'd be able to find in a large chain supermarket. The female staff member clearly new her stuff and was very helpful. She de-boned and prepared the hake in front of me, and although she wouldn't give an assurance there were no bones in it (no doubt for legal reasons), the 3 of us eating the fish didn't find any later that evening. The fish was far tastier than anything I've had from large food chains and being part of the 'supermarket' generation, I'm now a convert and will definitely be returning.
