We popped into Eleys whilst visiting Ironbridge. There was a good number of people eating their pies sat outside. There was a good selection of pies ,pasties and sausage rolls. We bought pork 🥩 pies 🥧. We tool them home to eat . The pies was very meaty with delicious jelly inside. The pastry was very good too. The pies aren't cheap however worth it as good quality. The Baker selling the pies was very friendly. If you visit Ironbridge and like a good meat pie pop in and get one 😋👍🏻

Absolutely sublime! Best ever Pork Pie. Don’t go to Melton Mowbray…..Eley’s know their craft like no one else. Perfect pastry (not greasy like others) course chopped Pork, very thin jelly (a positive for me) and no disappointing air gap at the top - which is regularly found inside most pies.

Delicious, good service and well priced.
We stopped here on our way on holiday and could not have been more pleased. We had a local pasty, sausage roll, medium pork pie and a chilli pie (which was HUGE!) four drinks for under £20. The lad serving was very friendly and the food was excellent. They are obviously proud of their 50 year heritage and showed me the board of celebrity photos and autographs. Previous customers includes HM the Queen no less! Well worth a visit, if you've already had your lunch then grab one for later... 😉

Bought a medium pork pie from this local pie shop (opposite the approach to the Iron Bridge erected in 1799) and split it later between us both. It was probably the tastiest pork pie ever ( even the jelly that I usually discard) and just regret that we should have bought one each😟. There was a hot counter but I went for the cold counter and the quality always prevails in that. It was a cautious approach thinking it may be too touristy, but should have thrown caution to the wind and bought a bagful. No doubt I’ll be back. It’s worth the price when it’s quality ✔️

Good pork pies and pastries, friendly lady serving.
Right by the Ironbridge.

After hearing all the Hype we opted to try a couple of Eleys Ironbridge pasties .
They weren't as nice or wholesome as I was expecting, pastry was OK but the filling was just a mush with hardly any solid pieces of meat ( or much else) my wife got quite excited upon finding a piece of carrot in her pastie.
I gave it 4 stars as Staff were very pleasant & courteous

I have eaten dozens of black pudding scotch eggs in my time, never have I had one that’s as good as that, utterly fantastic. The pasty wasn’t quite as good but still very tasty. Some how, I’ll be coming back for another SE.

Was ok. Was Really looking forward to getting a pasty here. Ordered some sausage rolls here as well which were nice. The pastry for the pasty and sausage rolls were good but the filling of the pasty wasn’t great. Basically the potato had been cooked down too much so it all blended in with the meat which made it all a bit sloppy. Was no where near the worst place to visit but to be honest I have had a better pasty from Greggs. Nice friendly staff though

Just been down to Ironbridge for a weekend break been recommended to try Elsey's pork pie excellent pastry was lovely and crumbeley and the pork excellent full of flavour glad i brought a large one well worth it 😄

If you're in Ironbridge it's a must go place! Incredible pork pie, best pastry ever.

Top quality Pasties served hot or cold. We had 2 hot on our way up and bought some on Sunday to take away for dinner when we got home.
Good selection of Pasties, sausage rolls, and pork pies, plus take away drinks. COVID secure premises with serving hatch through a screen.

This little shop is amazing the pasties and sausage rolls are delicious but the Pork Pies are absolutely brilliant. There are a few tables outside to sit and enjoy or just have on the go. Would highly recommend a visit.

We had the pork pie, very tasty, definitely worth a try.
P. S.
Blooming lovely! Great service, tasty pies and rolls, great prices.... can't get better!!
J. S.
Had a weekend break in Iron Bridge, and spotted this shop, so tried a small pork pie & a sausage roll for lunch, the pie was fantastic, perfect pastry, well seasoned filling, and the correct “meat to jelly” ratio. It was so good returned the following day to take some back with us 👍🏻
K. B.
We ordered a pork pie birthday cake with total ease. The delivery was as scheduled and no issues - the packaging kept the pie nice and cold. I have one problem.... that the pie was so tasty that we have demolished it between two of us in 4 days. Definitely prefer this to a traditional birthday cake. Everyone we showed was very impressed.
S. M.
The best sausage roll. Have had since I was a child, fresh, piping hot, proper sausage, absolutely amazing
d. h.
Omg if you haven't had an Eleys pie go get one. We buy a couple every Christmas and one / two every other Saturday.
M. S.
We've tried the rest but Eley's are the BEST!
Pork pies are the best ever, and that's rich coming from a Master Butcher! Highly recommend the sausage rolls and the Ironbridge Pasty 😋👍🏻
J. B.
Tasty Sausage rolls, lovely coffee and cheerful staff. Always worth a stop when out on the bike 🏍👍🏻❤
A.
Bought some pies they were very hot but tasty, plenty of choice and a traditional pork pie I my self found it very peppery so could not eat, but worth a try.
B. W.
I very much liked they had a small pork pie. It was meaty and the pastry was well baked and delicious.
D.
I've visited here a few times with friends and my girlfriends when coming to Ironbridge for walks. We usually grab a few sausage rolls and/or pork pies for our walk.
I really like everything I've had from there. I especially like that they accept card payments now as I rarely carry cash.
Sometimes their pastry can be a little dry, but I've never had anything too dry for me to not enjoy it.
I'll definitely be going again on future trips.
R. C.
I was lucky enough to purchase some of your pies on my last trip to Iron Bridge and can honestly say they are the best pork pies I have ever had the pleasure of tasting, I am going to be controversial and say they are better than any Melton Mowbray pork pie I have tasted and believe me, I have tasted many! Fantastic!
J. M.
Top pork pies with plenty of filling. A good few other options available in the hot counter.
M. L.
Sausage rolls are great, the pork pies are AMAZING!
B. M.
Brilliant pastries served here. Went for a sausage roll and it was gorgeous. They sell a variety of stuff that all looks tasty. Ended up buying quite a few different pastries. Definitely recommend!
E. C.
A fantastic little shop selling pork pies, pasties, sausage rolls and other combinations of pork and pastry.
The shop has been open on this site for many years. The staff are friendly and the prices reasonable.
E. M.
Been before very good pork pies
P. V.
Delicious pork pies, scratchings and sausage rolls. I'm sure their other products are tasty but I am yet to eat them. If you're in Ironbridge I would recommend popping in.
N. E.
I have had "World famous pies" and Best Pies In Britain" in most towns in UK and they regularly disappoint, not here! These are the real deal, quite possibly the BEST pork pie I have ever had.
Eccles cakes disappointing, nowhere near enough currants but the pork pie, mmmmmmm.
M. H.
Travelled 150 miles to pick up a birthday pork pie for my friends 70th birthday, can only say would have been happy to travel 500 miles.. The pastry, jelly and pork filling was one of the tastiest pork pies I have ever eaten, needless to say it didn't last long it was devoured very quickly. Highly recommed x
A. G.
Loved the hot pasties and sausage rolls, had to buy more to take home for later. The traditional pork scratchings really worth a try too. Don't visit Ironbridge without trying!
A. M.
The pies are good, very good actually. I guess that the price reflects the fact that this is a tourist location, still it felt a bit steep £1.95 for a small pork pie, £2.30 for a sausage roll
S. S.
The best pork pies, sausage rolls and pasties you could ever wish to feast on. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient perfect. Shame other places can't be more like it.

*** Medium Pie Review ***
Pastry - tasty but too dry.
Meat - good meat to fat ratio but wasn't tender enough and too high pepper content.
Jelly - good amount of jelly, equally distributed around the inner circumference, tasty.
Looked good but a challenge to entirely consume.
D.
Simply the best “Cornish/ Ironbridge” pasties. I travel from Wolverhampton regularly to sample these delicious morsels. I went to Cornwall recently and tried a few down there but nothing compares to Eley’s. Been coming here for over 15 years now, and I still never get tired of sitting outside looking out at the Ironbridge gorge, with a pasty and a Pint from the Tontine Hotel in hand.
C. J.
Pork pies and sausage rolls were nice, but wasn’t blown away.
A. R.
Very tasty pork pie well seasoned in a crispy dough, one of the best I've had recently, I recommend it to all visitors to Ironbridge.
P. T.
Always love a pork pie or a pastie.
M. S.
Fantastic pasties and pies - our go to place everytime we visit Ironbridge. Highly recommended. 😁😁
T. H. H.
Outside of Melton Mowbray, this place ranks equally as a real gem. There is a range of pork pies available and the recipe is out of this world. Take some of these to a party with you for a talking point. First class. Best access is on foot using one of the local car parks.
D. L.
Amazing pies Just like Mrs Lovetts
C. B.
These pork pies are the best you can get in my oppinion - a wide range of products are available from the shop opposite the bridge aside from pies the Mozzerella slices are also good - if you want you can warm them up but they are just as good cold, brilliant treat for the budding camper be warned though if you go there expect a long queue as they are popular. Also talk to them about renting a cottage next year (again very popular) .
P. C.
Didn't eat here myself, but 2 others said the pies were great. Judging by the flakes of crust dropped, they must have been.
A few veggie options.
D. L.
Excellent pork pie. Travelled 50 miles to get there and happy to do it again.
The coffee is quite good too
M. H.
Lovely, but Ironbridge pasties seem to have a lot of potato and less meat. Still tasty and hot though!
M. F.
Had a nice sausage roll last time, thought I'd try the cheese and onion pastry, right decision absolutely bostin
R. R.
Great pork pies with a proper amount of aspic! And a decent price for the size they are too.
G. J.
Best pork pies, and sausage rolls I've ever tasted. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
K. B.
Pasties - with proper pastry! Not the namby-pamby sweaty flakey stuff masquerading as pastry.
Pork Pies - tastes like pork pies should!
D. R.

Nice pasty and cup of tea... If your bride wants pork pie for her wedding don't expect her to look bang tidy for too long after you are married.
L. K.
As a Wigan pie eater I think these pork pies are the best on the planet and believe me I have eaten some pies in my time.

(Translated) It was open while there were many closed stores at COVID19.
As pork pie seems to be a specialty, I bought it. L size is quite large.
If you warm it up and cut it, the gravy will simmer. It's like a pie version of a small basket.
It is delicious with a large volume.
