Purchased fillet steaks…gorgeous! And looking forward to trying the duck in plum sauce kebabs tomorrow!

S. R.It's a well presented shop with a lot of variety and very helpful people serving. I bought some of their lovely Surrey ribeye that is dry-aged on site and some stilton to make into sauce for the ribeye. The quality of both were exceptional and I look forward to trying some of their other produce. Given the quality, I think the prices were very fair.

I. D.Very friendly staff with a wonderful selection of produce however if you're paying £60 per kilo for beef fillet you expect it to melt in your mouth... Sadly that wasn't the case with the substantial 1.2Kg piece that my Wife lovingly made into a Beef Wellington for my birthday treat today. Although beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection, wonderfully rare, it was difficult to cut and had a tough texture to eat. A real disappointment that we didn't expect.

W.The selection and quality of meat makes other butchers pale in comparison, there is just so much to choose from and they supply some completely different breads and cuts that you would just never see in a supermarket let alone other butchers shops. It's a great family run butchers and the staff are always happy to help and point you in the right direction. I highly recommend the US and Waygu steaks but there local produce is excellent too.
B. P.This is a fantastic butcher, the quality of the meat is superb. Among other items my wife & I always buy 2 of "Gary's" pork chops, large enough to feed a small army but historic to eat.

I have never been disappointed in any of our puchases which have ranged from fresh cuts, their own sausages, and ready made meals like beef wellington. They even have cuts from Argentina and USDA. We have also enjoyed their fresh cheese selection!
L. S.Easily the best butcher for miles around! I drive 20mins (7 miles) to get my meat from Mr Turner, there are a dozen butchers closer. The steak, and in particular the Argentine Rib-eye and any Galician they have, is exceptional. I can recommend the lamb koftas for a quick and easy meal, and the sausage rolls. You get what you pay for and I will happily pay a premium for well-sourced and tasty produce. Oh, and the staff are lovely.

H. P.Went in to buy some items for my Morher-in-Law. For fun I told the young woman at the counter that I’d been commissioned to shop for someone and could she guess who it was? She replied immediately saying “Was it for the injured lady whose daughter was in recently?”
Amazing!
I asked if she could guess the first item. “Six lamb noisettes?”
Double amazing!
And so it went on with the other two items. All were packed in individual bags as that’s M-I-L’s preference.
