P. B.We were visiting North Wales, and this butcher was recommended, as we wanted to buy some shoulders of lamb. We bought a shoulder of Salt Marsh, and a shoulder of Traditional lamb to put in our iced cool box for the journey to Milton Keynes. They arrived in perfect under 5 degree condition, and the flavour was fantastic, especially the Salt Marsh. The shop was clean and well organised, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to go again when we are next in North Wales.
S. D.A warm and friendly welcome every time. Helpful and patient staff who really know their stuff! We've been coming to Jamie Ward's (formerly McArdle's) since we moved to the village several years ago and they've always been brilliant. The quality of the food is second to none.
Currently two at a time in the shop due to the pandemic, I've never had any issue with this or seen anyone else have a problem. Mentioning this after reading a recent review which seems very out of the ordinary.
