Bought a used car from Stuart Thomson and we could not be happier. We did some research before so knew what we wanted, how much we wanted to pay and how much we would get for trading in. And we got exactly what we asked for and better. Easy hand over, minor defects were repaired and full valet was done. Very different experience to other salesman. There was no pressure, no hidden costs and Stuart kept in contact while the car was in the body shop and was prompt in replying to any emails. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly, easy going and by far one of the best sales guys I have dealt with. Most used car salesmen couldn't really care about how the car is presented, handed over etc as the car is used, but we felt like we were buying brand new and we were valued & taken care of. Fantastic service from the staff at Nissan Aberdeen, we dealt with Patryk who kept us up to date throughout the whole process, we weren’t able to view the car in person due to us being 400 miles away but he sent us detailed videos and information via email. They did some work on the paintwork and replaced the alloys for us too which was great. Also a mention to Rhys too who drove the car down to us in the midlands on a bank holiday and made sure we were familiar all the features in the car. Over the years I have had the pleasure of dealing with Elaine Green from the parts department, Elaine has always gone way above and beyond to help keep my car on the road whenever I have needed small parts or major parts. My husband booked my daughter's car in to get checked over under the 3 month warranty the scheme. He was told to bring the car in at 8.45am and they would check it and then book it in to fix it at a later date. My husband arrived at Specialist Cars only to be told the car had to be left with them all day possibly until 5pm. We live 1 hour away from Aberdeen, there is no public transport to where we live. Apparently there is not 1 car in the whole of Specialist Cars, (demonstrator or courtesy car) for my husband to drive home. He has a whole days work to do and is losing money because Specialist Cars unable to communicate properly with their customers. Customer Services apologised, but that won't pay the bills. Totally unacceptable. I would give you no stars, but I can't post without one.... Update:- I had a long discussion with Gerry on the phone yesterday afternoon. He has immediately sorted out one of the issues, for which I am very grateful. He also suggested that I have far too high expectations. So I have taken that on board. Next time any of my family book a car into a garage I will specifically ask if the appointment requires the car to be left for the whole day. I am not an unreasonable person but get frustrated when communication is not clear. Thanks Gerry, I do appreciate you sorting this out.

If I could rate the service and associated staff at Specialist Cars Nissan - Aberdeen higher than the allowable 5 stars, I would. The Service Management, led by BB and the team helped my business, family and I during our time of need and I cannot fault the customer service shown. When the complimentary RAC breakdown assistance team enabled my Navara vehicle to get to the Nissan team, they were straight on the ball and moved heaven and earth to ensure that my vehicle was assessed pronto; a short term courtesy car arranged; a follow-up Nissan Customer Care hire vehicle arranged (sized to cater for my short term family requirements); parts ordered; staff working outside of their normal remit; my vehicle fixed and returned to my short term residence. Meanwhile, I received updates throughout my vehicle repair process, and advised along the way as to where the workshop team were with the repair and testing progress. All this under the 100k miles/5 year warranty! I cannot find a superlative to describe the level of support and courtesy received from all staff. Recently purchased a Nissan GTR from the Nissan Aberdeen Dealership, I was dealt with by Ian, Patrick and Dale. Just picked up my new Nissan GTR from these guys. I made the 400 mile trip to buy from them over many other dealerships not just because of their knowledge and professionalism, but due to the complete feeling of confidence that the team gave me during the process from initial enquiry, right through to collection. Dale was an ultimate expert on the GTR and did the optimisation mileage on the car during his week off. He was in regular contact via WhatsApp, with new pictures all the time and was always happy to answer my constant questions. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and continued to check in over the following days to make sure everything was good. Diogo was also amazing in dealing with the finance aspect during the run up to purchase. A true gentleman and always had time for me no matter how trivial my question. When I got there (earlier than arranged as I was too excited), the car was waxed and shining and immaculately presented. So overall, I came away with my dream car and the whole experience could not have been better so thank you to the whole team who made it possible. Great new building. Shame you can't still see and talk to the service staff any more as they are hidden round a corner. Once you have been dealt with, you are pretty much on your own. (To make up for it there is a cooler full of drinks :-) ) Much better access than the old building at the Bridge of Don. More parking is always a bonus. Took my 370z in as it had a steering lock fault, hadn't bought the car from them, and it was out of warranty... not looking good. The problem was the subject of a recall but my car was out of the range of affected cars, a £1000 fix. They told me to hang fire, and after a few calls they told me that Nissan would cover the cost as a gesture of goodwill!! Couldn't believe it. Then I got the car back and discovered a scratch on the door, I wasn't going to mention it after them paying for the fix but I did, and they said they would fix it. They offered my a selection of bodyshops, I chose Kinghorn (known for being the best in Aberdeen) and they paid for the fix which came out perfect. Can honestly say this is the best service I have ever received. Bryan was who helped me out, always got back to me and provided excellent service I would only have expected from the most exclusive dealers.

Car not bought from them, but any servicing and warranty work has been done with zero fuss. They even called me to tell me I was getting a new set of alloys under warranty because they'd noticed some corrosion on them while servicing it.
